Surviving You

Iris Gomez

Breath in, breath out, hold your self together. Calm the storm inside your head, Let this phase halt, let the voices falter. You aren’t weak, your heart is not dead, It is just lost in the minefield of doubt and judgement. You may be scared to take a step, And just stay still, curled up in self-confinement. But believe there is no depth, That you can’t swim through or climb up to. It is a matter of learning from retrospect, Trust that you can survive you. Now warm your soul with love and respect, Shed the tears behind those laughter. You can walk out this maze of despair, just breath in, breath out, and hold your self together.
