God Can Heal The Hurting Heart Healing must come from God not man. I can remember the time as child how I felt so a long without my father around. I cared alot of hurt didn’t understand at that time being young. I knew that something was wrong with me. I stayed mad all the time, If you said the wrong thing to me it was on. I was living between Hinesville and Augusta my hometown. The bible speak on healing (Pleasant words are as a honeycomb, sweet to the mind and healing to the body. Proverbs 16:24. We all can use a pleasant word sometimes, I can remember a time when, I had my second hurt, when the person I loved didn’t love themseleve. I still didn’t know who God was. Hurt people hurt other people believe me I know. I didn’t care about how anything or anyone, real talk. I still stayed with this person even though he lie, cheating on me, tried to fight me. I still wouldn’t leave, most people will say why did you stay? I couldn’t even answer them, because I didn’t know myself. A gentle tongue [with its healing power] is a tree of life, but willful contrariness in it breaks down the spirit. Proverbs 15:4 You must have some control over your tongue when speaking to any individual. He never control his tongue, he would use all kind of profanity and so would I. Tamela Mann Best Gospel Artist 2014 Tamela Mann, despite her recent knee surgery, chose to personally accept her award for “Best Gospel Artist” at the BET Awards on June 29. The “I Can Only Imagine” singer was greatly humbled on Sunday night at the awards show at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles. Her Husband David Mann walked her onto the stage as she limped. The singer shouted, “Wow” as everyone in the audience stood on their feet to applaud Mann. She went on to tell everyone that her husband assisted her as she walked on the stage because she had knee surgery. “I’m a trouper, I’m a week old on Knee surgery,” she said. She wept as she proceeded to give her acceptance speech. “Thank you so much, thank you Lord, I’m so grateful,” she declared.

Mann went up against some steep competition in the category for the “Best Gospel Artist” award. The others nominated were Erica Campbell, Donnie McClurkin, Tye Tribbett, and Hezekiah Walker, but Mann came out on top. She publicly stated her love for her husband of 26 years and jokingly told presenter Nick Cannon, “I think I beat you Nick, I got the best one.” Mann ended her speech be encouraging everyone, “The sky is the limit all things are possible if you just believe,” she said. Tamela Mann, is certainly a BET favorite, BET.com said, “Her show-stopping performance of “Take Me to the King” at the 2013 BET Awards wowed us all.” Mann and her comedian husband are set to bring more positive and enjoyable entertainment with a reality TV series coming in the near future on BET.

Surviving Cancer Through the Power of Prayer
On May 28, 2010, I was diagnosed with breast cancer from a lump that formed on right breast. I didn’t think much of it at first until it started growing and became painful. I visited my Gynecologist, Dr. Ahmed Barhoush, who measured it at 3cc. It had grown to a size of a golf ball and he immediately sent me to a breast surgeon. Dr. Donna H. Kleban performed a biopsy and found that it was cancer. Dr. Kleban scheduled me to see an oncologist, Dr. Todd A. Gersten, on the following day. Later that week he started me on six treatments of chemotherapy. After treatment Dr. Kleban performed a right mastectomy. During my recovery I was undergoing breast reconstruction from plastic surgeon, Dr. Itzhak Nir, coupled with radiation treatments from radiologist, Dr. Kishore Dass. It was long and hard, but through God and prayer, the support of family and friends, and my AWESOME doctors I made it through! It encouraged me to fight for my life and I won!!! I’m now four years breast cancer survivor and I know through Christ I’m still here.

Cover Story Throughout his ministry, God and several prophets told him that he would pastor a church. In January 2004, he stepped out on faith and purchased a sign that would one day hang over his church. Nine months later on September 17, 2004 he gave birth to “Behold, Lamb of God Ministries! Our first service was held at Jesus is Lord Evangelistic Ministries founded and established by his friend Pastor Donald C. Williams, with only two members in attendance, he preached a message entitled “The God that took nothing and made something.” On June 26, 2005 we held our first service in our very own building at 6023 4th st. Marrero, la. The word was spreading fast about the little church on 4th street. In a matter of months, our church grew from two devoted disciples to well over 100; “ To God be the Glory”! Unfortunately, Hurricane Katrina hit and everyone was displaced. Pastor Smith returned to his hometown of Georgia, along with several church members. He was very discouraged, but God spoke and instructed him to return and finish his assignment. With odds against him, he dreadfully and fearfully returned to a devastated city. With no signs of life or any hope of restoration. All he had was a word from God, with only seven members in attendance; On October 19, 2005, we held our first post Katrina service. Our theme was “We are not moved by what we see.”
On March 7,1976, our dear Pastor was born to Minnie and Lawrence Smith, along with his identical twin brother Darrel Smith in Augusta, Ga. Big things come in small packages proved to be true considering our pastor weighed only 4lbs and 6 ounces. Although he was small in weight, the greatness within him could not measured, for he was chosen from his mother womb to change the world. Prophet Smith was raised in a Holiness Church, which was founded by his father. Prophet Daniel Smith began to walk in his calling at the age of seventeen. Preaching and prophesying in his father’s church, it was apparent that God’s hand was on his life. In 1997, he married his beautiful wife, Elect Lady Latonya Smith. In 1998, he became a licensed and ordained minister by Apostle Darryl McCoy of Trumpet and Zion Ministries where he continued to preach, teach, and prophesy. 10

Because of Pastor Smith obedience, God has given us double of everything we had prior to Katrina. We are a debt free church! “To God be the Glory! Many of our members are still displaced, but God has sent many more. God has placed a special anointing upon this ministry. The breath of God is literally breathing on it. Prophet Smith’s dynamic teaching and the prophetic anointing that rest upon have been a blessing to all that hear him. His love and humility is felt and witnessed by all. Prophet Smith has a genuine desire to see God’s people prosper in their soul, Spirit, health, relationships, and finances. God has anointed him to preach and teach the word of God with simplicity and understanding. The messages are often humorous, but challenges all that hear to line up their lives with God’s word.

Biography
Apostle Glenda Bradley House of Refuge, Inc, Hinesville, GA Apostle Glenda Bradley resides in Hinesville GA and is a native of Burke County GA. She was married to Elder Jimmy Bradley Jr. on July 27, 1974. They have three biological children; Ingrid Bradley-Wimberly, Isaac Bradley and the late Jimmy Bradley III along with one adopted child, Emily Bradley. Apostle Bradley accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior in December 1977. She accepted her call to the ministry in July of 1983. Due to being a military family, she was given the opportunity to evangelize in various places throughout the United States. Taking souls off the streets and winning souls for the kingdom is what God placed in her heart to do. God dealt with her by having prayer meeting and bible study. After the death of her 13-year-old son in September of 1992, she felt the presence of God like never before. She then began having prayer meetings and bible study in her home, which grew over time. Her husband who was unsaved at the time allowed her to close in the greenhouse in the back yard; that greenhouse became the church. Her husband Jimmy Bradley Jr. was later saved through the ministry in 1995. People came from various places for prayer. God was healing and delivering, prayers were being answered and souls were saved. As she continued to work diligently in ministry, the Lord spoke to her and said the ministry shall be called the House of Refuge. It will be for people who are in need, for the broken, hurt, wounded, desolate and destitute. In September of 1994, Evangelist Glenda Bradley was ordained and installed as Pastor of the House of Refuge,

Inc. The ministry grew and a larger building was needed. The church moved to 307 South Welborn St. and they leased the building for 2 years. God spoke to Pastor Bradley and told her to buy all the property that would come up for sale. In 1998 God prophesied through her to tell the church that He was going to build them a new building. That he was going to do it with a few people; and that the people in the city would know that He is God and that they would give Him the glory. Each year thereafter, a piece of property was purchased; three lots on one side of the street and one lot on the opposite side that contained a two-story house. In November 2004, God called and positioned Pastor Glenda Bradley in the office of Apostle. In 2006, God told Apostle Bradley that it was time to build. The building process started in 2007 and they moved into the new edifice August 1, 2009. Apostle Glenda Bradley is sold out for the Lord. The apostolic and prophetic anointing upon her life has changed and influenced the lives of many. Apostle Bradley’s mission is to build and change the lives of people; making disciples; giving hope to the desolate, hurt, misfortunate and wounded. Her is a place of restoration and a safe haven to all who enter. Her vision is to be a light shining in the nation, serving God
