Interview by David R. Navarro

David R. Navarro: Tell us a little bit about yourself?

London Marie Rose: I am originally from Mobile Alabama, I ended up in PA because my stepdad was stationed here in the military. As an Adult, I decided to stay up in PA as there are so many modeling opportunities up North. I enjoy volunteering and pageantry.

DN: How long have you been in the modeling industry?

LMR: I have been in the modeling industry for 2 years. This year I became serious about modeling.

DN: What made you decide to be serious about modeling?

LMR: I have always had a seriousness towards modeling, you can say that I took a more professional approach when I met my pageant coach. She has shown me so much about the modeling world and has been in this profession for more than 15 years. She has won so many awards and titles and has taught me so much about modeling and myself.

DN: Which people or books have had the most influence on your modeling career and why?

LMR: I really have been inspired by Tyra Banks’ modeling and her overall career. Another model I really enjoy is American singer, Cierra Wilson. Her modeling and how she conducts herself is very beautiful to me! I look up to her very much.

DN: What would you say is the #1 key to success in the modeling industry?

LMR: Never start a project you cannot finish and be teachable, because you never know what you can learn.

DN: Can you give us some examples of things you are doing or have done to expand your fanbase?

LMR: I network a lot through my Instagram when I’m at a fashion event. As well as with fashion groups on Facebook. People do not realize that Facebook is a good networking avenue. I’m constantly looking for ways I can network.

DN: Talk about the biggest failure you’ve had. What did you learn from it?

LMR: My biggest failure in this industry for me was putting my career on hold for meaningless relationships. People come and go in your life, your career is with you always.

DN: What advice can you give other young men and women who want to follow in your footsteps?

LMR: Don’t get discouraged if you feel a project isn’t turning out right, take a step back and take a break. Come back to the project, finish it or start over. Never accept anything less, below standard and what your beliefs are. If something doesn’t sit well with you, go with your gut feeling. Always be honest.

DN: What does a typical day in your week look like?

LMR: You can find me traveling for a shoot, a casting call or a pageant. I enjoy volunteering when I’m not working or shopping or in nature exercising.

DN: What keeps you going when things get tough in the business?

LMR: I always ask myself, where do i see myself 10 years from now, which in 10 years I will be 30 years old. I do not want to look back and think of what I could have done, you can’t take time back, so I want to excel and go as far as I can with my career.

DN: Is there anything else you’d like us to know about you?

LMR: My goal and aspiration is to one day create my own modeling agency and have my own photography studio.
