MARKET WATCH WHITBY FEBRUARY 2019 The average sale price for February 2019 in Whitby was $621,013. This is down 4.86% from last year, with the average sale price being $652,739. 101 units were sold in February 2019, which is up 1% compared to the same time last year. In February 2018, 100 units were sold. February of 2019 saw 197 new listings, down 5.29% from the year prior. There were 208 new listings in February 2018. The average days on market for units in February 2019 was 21 days. This is down 6 days in comparison to February 2018, where units were on the market for an average of 27 days.

White kitchens have been ‘in’ for some time now, however a new trend has been starting to emerge. Dark, and more specifically, black kitchens. Despite what you may assume at first, black kitchens can still look and feel very spacious. The dark colours lend themselves to a sleek and modern look, giving off a luxurious vibe. On the other hand, white kitchens still have their place. The clean look and airy feel of white kitchens has captured the hearts of many and they definitely won’t be disappearing any time soon.
