he summer of 2016 has been one to remember with loads of sunlight and warm temperatures countrywide. The increase in activity in tourism, both internationally and domestically, has again been staggering in the key summer trading months. With every edition of epay World magazine it seems as though so much has changed, with new retailers and suppliers added to the epay network as well as new staff joining the epay team. The last four months have been no exception. We welcome Nicola Clark to the epay team, who is based in Dunedin and services Southland, Dunedin and Central Otago for epay and Pure Commerce. We also now have a dedicated marketing team with Caitlin Smith joining Julius Fox while new business rep Hush Sethi is based in Tauranga and will look after the Bay of Plenty and Waikato areas. We have now launched a new-look Gift Station website after eight years of success with the old site. Check it out at www.giftstation.co.nz. We are also about to launch our own Gift Station app for both iOS and android devices. If you are driving on Auckland’s Southern Motorway, around the Sylvia Park area, you may notice our building signage showing the new Gift Station logo and website address. Last year gift card use and acceptance was the highest it has ever been in New Zealand and this trend continues to grow at over 35% year-on-year. Hamish Jivan Before joining epay, Hamish worked at a family business doing accounts and B2B sales for about six years. “I understand the ins-and-outs, as well as the challenges, of running a small business. When I’m not working I love hanging out with friends and family. I also like to hit the gym, go for runs and I play a variety of both indoor and outdoor sports. Kerri Quirke Kerri has been with us for over a year after previously working with Prolife and Cadbury in the FMCG space. “I love building relationships right through to a personal level with all my clients and I’m blessed to know some wonderful people. I am married with two daughters and live in beautiful Rolleston – just out of Christchurch. I love to exercise and even like doing half marathons! Ena Royena Before Yen (as most people call her) joined us she was the B2B and B2C account manager for Just Water NZ in Wellington after a challenging and varied career elsewhere in the world. “From 19972007 I developed my sales acumen with Boehringer Ingelheim in the Philippines. I then tackled insurance sales for Sunlife Canada and Manulife Insurance before joining Coca Cola Philippines where I further developed my account management and managerial skills.”

Nattavadi Kaotrirutana Nen, as she’s affectionately known at epay, joined us part-time in 2014 while she was studying.
