Welcome to the February/March issue of the Kendal Courier Magazine.
Do something special this Saturday 14th February – from fowers to chocolates, jewellery to romantic meals, there are lots of ways to show your appreciation for the one you love this Valentine’s Day. We look at some great ideas on how to celebrate this day of love. Popping the question this Saturday could well be the perfect romantic gesture and with some great wedding fairs coming up over the next few months, it may be the perfect time! Castle Green Hotel are hosting their annual Wedding Show on Sunday 23rd February – a fantastic opportunity to view all the beautiful facilities the hotel has to ofer. After the success of their two ‘Style a Bride’ events last year, Storrs Hall are hosting their Wedding Styling event on Sunday 1st March and Leighton Hall hosts its’ very own Wedding Fair on Sunday 23rd March. There’s the ever popular Kendal Festival of Food to look forward to. On Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th March the town hosts an exciting two day celebration of all things food and drink. A chance to experience the best the region has to ofer from artisans and producers, to world class chefs and fresh new talent. Sunday 15th March is a very special day for all you mums out there. Hers & Sirs on Kirkland are holding a Mothers Day Pamper on Thursday 12th March from midday.
