Request for Proposals The City of Los Fresnos is requesting sealed proposals for: Bank Depository Services Request for Proposals may be obtained at City Hall, located 520 E. Ocean Blvd, Los Fresnos, TX 78520. Detail information about the RFP may be obtained from Pablo A. Garza, Finance Director by calling (956) 233-5768. The sealed proposals will be received at the Office of the Director of Finance until 2:00 p.m. on May 22, 2020. City of Los Fresnos Construction Advertisement and Invitation for Bids The City of Los Fresnos will receive bids for the construction of the Pedestrian and Bicycle Trail until 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 28, 2020 at 520 E Ocean Blvd, Los Fresnos, TX 78566. The bids will be publicly opened at City Hall and read aloud at that time. Bids received after the closing time will be returned unopened. Bids are invited for several items and quantities of work as follows: The construction of approximately 1.5 miles of an asphalt pedestrian and bicycle trail with concrete ribbon. Storm drainage and concrete sidewalks are also included. The site is located along an existing ditch in Los Fresnos, TX. Bidders, suppliers or sub-contractors may obtain copies of the plans, specifications and bidding documents at the city website at https://www.cityoflosfresnos.com/. Bid bond in the amount of 5 percent of the bid issued by an acceptable surety shall be submitted with each bid. A certified check or bank draft payable to the City of Los Fresnos or negotiable U.S. Government Bonds (as par value) may be submitted in lieu of the Bid Bond. One (1) pre-bid conference will be conducted by the Owner on May 19, 2020 at 2:00 pm. The pre-bid conference shall be conducted at the City of Los Fesnos City Hall, located at 520 E Ocean Blvd, Los Fresnos, TX 78566. Attendance by prospective Bidders is highly recommended but not mandatory. Sub-contractors, suppliers, and equipment suppliers may attend. The City of Los Fresnos reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informality in the bidding. Bids may be held by City of Los Fresnos for a period not to exceed 90 days from the date of the bid opening for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the bidders qualifications prior to the contract award.
