Public Notice Cameron County Irrigation District No. 6 (CCID#6) In concurrence with Texas Water Code § 58.129 Publication of Rules Under Texas Water Code - WATER § 58.127 Adopting Rules: CCID#6 Board of Directors has adopted the following rules (1) to prevent waste and unauthorized use of water. (2) regulate residence, hunting, fishing, boating, and camping, and all recreational and business privileges on any stream or body of water, or any body of land, or any easement owned or controlled by the district. 1. Yard Water Policy Purpose: To prevent waste or the unauthorized use of water. Penalty per Violation: $1,000.00 per instance of violation and $50.00 per day thereafter up to $10,000.00 total under Texas Water Code Sec. 49.004.
2. District Rights of Way Policy Purpose: a) to restrict any signs from being placed on the District’s Main Canal RightͲOfͲ Ways, or any District canal easement and b) to prevent the staking or grazing of cows, horses or any other livestock on District owned or controlled Right of Ways. Penalty per Violation: $1,000.00 per instance of violation and $50.00 per day thereafter up to $10,000.00 total under Texas Water Code Sec. 49.004.
