Orange Rolo Cupcakes What You Need 1 box orange cake mix 1 tbsp grated orange peel 24 unwrapped caramel chocolate candy, such as Rolo (frozen) 24 caramel chocolate candy (not-frozen) ICING 1 c (2 sticks) butter, room temperature 1 tsp vanilla 1 tsp orange extract 1 lb 10x confectioner sugar, sifted 1 - 2 tsp whipping cream (or milk or half and half)
Directions â&#x20AC;˘ Make cake mix according to package directions. â&#x20AC;˘ Line cupcake pan with cupcake paper. â&#x20AC;˘ Place a frozen candy in the bottom of each cupcake paper. â&#x20AC;˘ Pour cake batter over frozen candy (2/3 full). â&#x20AC;˘ Bake at 350 for 18 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean. â&#x20AC;˘ Allow to cool and then ice. â&#x20AC;˘ For icing, cream all the icing LQJUHGLHQWV WRJHWKHU XQWLO Ă XII\ â&#x20AC;˘ Top each cupcake with a chocolate caramel candy on top of icing, then decorate. â&#x20AC;˘ Make sure to put sprinkles on before icing dries.
