Soon a single floor was not enough, and the event came to fill all three floors of the community center.

U pon r em ov ing the clay, Ladd f ou nd the dar k, eg g shape stone contained nine car v ing s depicting a f ace, a teepee, an ear of cor n, and sev er al g eom etr ic desig ns. A hole had b een b or ed thr ou g h the stone f r om b oth ends.

Officials at the N ew H am pshir e H istor ical Society f ou nd that the M yster y Stone had g r eat har dness, and w as m ost likely com pr ised of q u ar tz ite and m ylonite, tw o types of m etam or phic r ock.

A s long as eve r yone is on boa r d, ther e is no ba d answ er on w hat to ser ve f or Chr istm as dinner .

T oday’ s them e is som e gr eat and som ew hat dif f er ent qua lity side dishes; m ost go be st w ith be ef , but all in all, a gr eat side dish stands w ell on its ow n.

The first side dish is called Garlic B r ead P uddi ng and is an out standing accom panim ent w ith pr im e r ib or steak.

I know w hen w e hear of br ead puddi ng, w e instantly think of desser t, but thr ow that m entality r ight out of your head.

T his is m ade like m ost tr aditional br ead puddings, just without the sweetness f actor and instead done w ith ga r lic and a f ew other her bs and spices. I know som e w ho don’ t like any kind of br ead puddi ng, us ua lly due to its consistency, so if you ar e one of them , it m ay not be f or you, but tr us t m e, this is delicious .

I t cooks in 45- 50 m inut es and w ill gi ve you 8 por tions G ar li c B r ead P uddi ng 1/3 cup sun-dried tomatoes, packed dr y w ith no oil 2 t sp oliv e oil 2 t bs p m inced ga r lic 2 c ups m ilk 2 l ar ge eggs 2/3 cup shredded mozzarella cheese, divi ded 3 t bs p f r esh P ar m esan cheese, gr ated, divi ded 2 t bs p chopped f r esh ba sil, or 2 t sp dr ied ba sil

Stir in the tom atoes, ga r lic, half each of the m oz z ar ella and P ar m esan, the ba sil, salt and pepper . I n a 1 ½ qt casser ole dish, spr ay w ell and dum p in the br ead cube s. P our in the m ilk m ixt ur e ove r the br ead, and light ly stir to m ake sur e all the br ead is w ell coated. Y ou can eve n light ly pr ess dow n on top of the br ead if popping above the m ilk to help the coating pr ocess. Let the m ixt ur e sit f or 15 m inut es. D r ain all but 4 tsp of the gr ease f r om the pan. T hr ow the celer y and onion into the pan, ove r a m edium heat and cook un til tender , 6- 8 m inut es. When it comes to vegetables, I find par snips abs olut ely delicious and ve r y us er f r iendly w hen it com es to doing som e ups cale cooking, and they ar e easy to w or k w ith. T o those not f am iliar w ith them , they ar e close to a carrot, definitely in shape and size, and somewhat in flavor. They are usually sweet and I find them pretty darn good.

I have tw o par snip r ecipes f or you, both outstanding. The first one will take an hour or so and gi ve you 8- 10 side dishes.
