On a drone manufactured in Iran, the phrase "Happy New Year" was discovered on Sunday in Kyiv, the capital of Ukraine. During the 10-month conflict with Russia, multiple explosions rocked Kyiv and other parts of Ukraine on Saturday. An image of the drone was shared on Twitter by Anton Gerashchenko, an adviser to the minister of internal affairs of Ukraine. It was one of 32 that Ukrainian forces destroyed on New Year's Eve, according to the police. Gerashchenko wrote, "Remains of an Iranian drone taken down in the Kyiv region on New Year's Eve." The composing says 'Blissful New Year.' " The initial postings of the images were made on Telegram by Andrii Nebytov, the head of the Kyiv regional police. He wrote on Telegram that 140 reports of hostile drones flying over the Kyiv region on New Year's Eve. In three of the region's districts, the drones' wreckage has already been discovered. Police continue to record the war crimes of the aggressor and look for the remains of drones." Nebytov said the sections were found in a space visited by youngsters. "These fragments are not at the front, where fierce battles are fought, but rather on the sports field, where kids play. Everything you need to know about the terrorist state and its army can be found here. He added: " We are grateful for the excellent outcome to the Ukraine's air defense units. Without your expert work, the morning wouldn't be great." Dmytro Kuleba, the foreign minister of Ukraine, said on Saturday that Russian President Vladimir Putin would launch a new round of missile attacks on Ukrainian residential areas to celebrate the new year.
In a tweet, Kuleba stated, "This time, Russia's mass missile attack is deliberately targeting residential areas, not even our energy infrastructure." Putin, a war criminal, "celebrates" the new year by shooting people. Russia needs to be kicked out of its UN Security Council seat because it has always held it illegally." Putin accused the West of lying about peace and using the invasion of Ukraine to sow division in his annual New Year's Eve speech. He delivered the discourse from a tactical base camp with warriors envisioned behind the scenes rather than conventional location before the Kremlin. "It was a year of difficult, necessary decisions, the most important steps toward gaining full Russian sovereignty and powerful consolidation of our society," he said, reiterating his frequently stated assertion that Moscow had no choice but to send troops into Ukraine because it posed a threat to Russia's security.

N. Korean leader calls for 'exponential' increase in
nuclear arsenal State media in Pyongyang reported on Sunday that North Korean leader Kim Jong-un emphasized the need to "exponentially" increase the number of the country's nuclear arsenal and develop a new intercontinental ballistic missile in the new year. He conveyed the message during an entire gathering of the decision Laborers' Party of Korea that finished the earlier day. It was held to establish the major policy directions for the coming year in Pyongyang. Kim was quoted as saying in an English dispatch by the Korean Central News Agency that South Korea has become "our undoubted enemy, it highlights the importance and necessity of a mass-producing of tactical nuclear weapons and calls for an exponential increase of the country's nuclear arsenal." Additionally, in an effort to "overwhelmingly" increase its military capabilities, he called for efforts to develop new ICBMs and launch a spy satellite as soon as possible. According to the KCNA's statement, "A task was raised to develop another ICBM system whose main mission is quick nuclear counterstrike." Since 2020, Kim has chosen to use his key messages delivered at year-end party meetings to lay out the country's policy lines for the new year rather than giving his annual New Year's Day speech. Kim laid out new goals for strengthening the country's military power for the new year early last week during the six-day WPK plenary meeting, indicating that the regime will continue its provocations in 2023. The North launched a record-breaking 70 ballistic missiles in 2017, including a Hwasong-17 ICBM fired on November 18, raising concerns that it will soon carry out a nuclear test. A high-thrust solid-fuel rocket engine for a "new-type strategic weapon system" was put through testing in December by North Korea, which was thought to be working on a solidpropellant ICBM that could reach the U.S. mainland. The North planned to complete project preparations by April 2023 and carried out a "finalstage" test for the development of a military spy satellite. In addition, last week, for the first time in five years, it launched five drones across the South.
