The Marmalade loving bear is back at Royston Picture Palace this January to entertain the whole family. After an Earthquake destroys his home in the Peruvian Rainforest Paddington (Whishaw) makes his way to England to find somewhere new to live. He finds shelter with Henry Brown (Bonneville) and his family and mayhem ensues as Paddington helps bring the Brown family closer together whilst trying to outrun an evil taxidermist. Everyone who watches this film will fall in love with Paddington.

An American Lawyer is recruited to defend an arrested Soviet Spy in court, and then help the CIA facilitate an exchange of the spy for the Soviet captured American U2 spy plane pilot Francis Powers. This Thriller does a fantastic thing by creating tension using courtroom drama instead of action.

Hi all and a warm welcome to another fantastic line up of films here at the Royston Picture Palace. I’m sure you will agree no need for multiplex when the best movies are local. We kick December off with breathtaking performances from Michael Fassbender and Marion Cotillard in Macbeth, with the Minions back for our kids matinee. There’s a lot of awards buzz surrounding our Sunday film Brooklyn, with Saoirse Ronan hotly tipped to feature when they dish out the gongs. His name is Bond, James Bond, and you have five chances to catch Daniel Craig in the latest 007, Spectre, but hurry as these performances are selling fast. Into the New Year Paddington gets us in a fun frame of mind for the January matinee, with Carey Mulligan quite outstanding in the eagerly awaited Suffragette. Cate Blanchett and Rooney Mara star in the must see Carol, and you won’t want to miss the final installment of the Hunger Games films Mockingjay Part 2. And that’s not all, wrapping up our bumper schedule Tom Hanks as remarkable as ever stars in the compelling Bridge of Spies.
