The Fairy‛s Adventure

Once upon a time a fairy was flying in the air, eating a buttercup. She heard a bird singing in its nest Twinkle Twinkle Little Star (Emily)

Fairy and the bird‛s nest by Sophie Ro
The fairy landed in the bird‛s nest and saw some baby birds. They were sitting in the middle of the birds nest on some feathers as they couldn‛t fly yet. (Aurelius)
The fairy was looking at the baby birds, being very careful not to scare them, when she fell through a hole. She fell and fell and fell until she landed in a blueberry bush. The fairy had hurt her foot so she put a bandage on. (Georgia) 4
The fairy was in lots of pain so she decided it was a good idea to go to see a doctor. The doctor made her foot feel better and gave her some brown medicine. The fairy had to rest her foot to make it much better.

The fairy ew home as she had important jobs to do. First she put the milk bottles out, then dried the washing, then the fairy got to hang out with her friends at the shopping centre sitting on a bench. (Oisin) 5
The fairy had lots of fun, laughing and joking with her friends. She had not seen them in a long time so she decided to go home with them Fairy with her friends eating and have a sleepover. They had a midnight

feast of chocolate biscuits, stealing them from the fridge and doughnuts with sprinkles on that had a teeny weeny piece of chocolate. (Grace) They finally went to sleep after lots of playing but when she woke in the morning, the fairy still was very tired. She thought it was probably a good idea if she flew back to her house to rest. After a little nap, the fairy remembered that she had to make a card for her friend Lucy so she used glue to stick pieces of card together. Then she wrote inside it saying ‘To Lucy‛. (Lizzie) It was going to be given to Lucy to make her feel better as she had been poorly. The fairy walked to Lucy‛s house and carefully posted the card through the letterbox. She then went to the park and played on the swing, slide and climbing frame. The fairy, who was called Betty, had to rush home to get 6

ready in her party dress for Phoebe‛s party. (Florence)
It was a bouncy castle party with a pink sparkly unicorn cake. Betty went on the bouncy castle and down the slide. Next they played party games of musical A bouncy castle by Emily statues & pass the parcel. Betty was feeling good because she won a prize of a pencil & colouring box. (Claudia) After all the excitement from the party, Betty went home straight to bed, sleeping until morning. Betty played all day in her playroom with lots and lots of cars & balls. Her Popop came to visit her, bringing over his iPad. She played legister and Danger Mouse and then they had a snack of Pom bears and fruit rolls. (Thomas)

Betty really enjoyed her time with her Popop and was sad when he left but she knew he would be back again soon to visit. To make herself feel better she decided it was time to have another trip out so Betty went to the forest near A butterfly in the forest by Florence her house and found some water to play in. She met a butterfly who spoke to her, saying her name was Sparkle. They swung on the vines in the forest and found a treasure chest full of jewels, rings and crowns. They decided to put some of them on and go on a treasure hunt to see if they could find some more. They found some buried near where the foxes live, hidden in a jewellery box. There were necklaces and earrings for them to wear. (Delilah)
They wanted to say hello to the foxes so they tiptoed up to their log homes to make sure they didn‛t scare them. The foxes invited Betty and the butterfly in to their house and they became friends. They went to the park and found some baby trees, so they decided to look after them together. (Alexander)

As Betty was leaving to go back to her house, she spotted something red by the gate under a tree. Betty carefully walked over the leaves and sticks to see Red flowers and green ants by Grace what it was. As she got closer she saw that it was some little red flowers so Betty picked ten of the little red flowers to put in a glass of water when she got home. As she left the forest she walked past a little green ant on a leaf. Betty noticed the leaf was brown, so she found a green leaf to put him on. (Sophie Re) 9
The ant looked up at Betty and was a little sad, ‘please can you help me find a new home‛. Betty looked down and said ‘Yes of course I can‛ the ant replied ‘I am Freddie, I need a home in the wild forest‛ (Isabel) A dinosaur by Nathan Betty and Freddie the ant were walking back into the forest when all of a sudden a log fell down on to the ground. Betty and Freddie saw a scary dinosaur that was black and white and very big. Betty and Freddie were a bit scared so they ran to Betty‛s house. (Eleanor)
The dinosaur stomped to Betty‛s house, he tried to open the door but it was locked so the dinosaur pulled really hard and then it opened. The dinosaur looked in the door and smiled and wanted Picture by Freddie S -NEEDS NEW IMAGE to play catch. (Hattie) 10
As the dinosaur looked through the door he said ‘please can you play with me?‛ Betty and Freddie weren‛t scared anymore they all went together to play tag. The dinosaur went to the fridge and got some lemon juice for everybody to drink. (Gregory)

It was getting late so the dinosaur decided it was time for him to go home. The dinosaur went home in his green car to Melbourn where his swamp was. The dinosaur was feeling hungry and started to make some beans on toast. After his dinner he put on his dinosaur green pyjamas and went to bed. (Freddie S) A dinosaur in a swamp by Zachary

The dinosaur woke at 6.00am. It was breakfast time at the other side of the swamp where the dinosaur had cheerios and shreddies in his green bowl. He then had a really big drink of milk and started to get ready to go to his grandma‛s that was miles away. (Jack G)

As he packed his lunch for Grandma‛s, he made jam sandwiches with cheese in them, the dinosaur cut some melon up and A lunchbox by Huey placed some broccoli in his dinosaur lunchbox. He went and got some milk from the fridge and a straw. The dinosaur left the swamp to go to grandmas as he went in his green car he sang a butterfly song. (Freddie D) It was a very long journey to get to grandma‛s house so when the dinosaur finally arrived he was really excited to see her.
He gave her a big hug and Grandma told him that they could make gingerbread cookies together. They made them with round heads and little arms and decorated them with green, Gingerbread cookies by Lizzie blue and pink icing. They also gave them rainbow coloured hair. (Dolly-Ann) Once the dinosaur had finished baking he played cars inside with his brother dinosaur. Next he wanted to eat so he had a sandwich. (Curtis) A dinosaur playing cards by Jack G
The dinosaur went to bed and fell asleep saying ‘sshhsshh‛ as he snored. He had a big sleep for 10 hours, when he woke up he had some breakfast of a bacon sandwich with brown sauce because that was his daddy‛s favourite. (Alfie)

The dinosaur wanted to stay at grandma‛s house today so he played with his small toy giraffe and then an elephant. He then wanted to go to the park to play on the swings, he got grandma to push him so he could go up high. (Alexandra)

The dinosaur went to the prince‛s house. He found a magical wand in the prince‛s bedroom so he did ‘abracadabra‛. All of a sudden there was a big bang and a frog appeared. (Huey) A dinosaur and a wand by Caitlin
The frog went ‘ribit ribit‛ and bounced all the way to the castle. He had some ice cream to eat. (Jayden) 14

The Frog set off on an exciting adventure. He found a fairy house on his way and saw lots of pretty pink flowers in the garden. He also saw a small fairy who was watering them. (Sophie Ro) A dinosaur climbing a tree by Alexander
The frog was a bit sad because he didn‛t find anything fun to do so he decided… he needed to find a princess to turn him in to a dinosaur too. The princess would need to find a wand but that is in the castle. The frog saw the wand that was left on the settee upstairs, so he told this to the princess and she found the wand, held it up and said ‘magadragbla‛. The frog turned back in to the dinosaur but he felt a bit scared and started to roar (Zachary).

The dinosaur was hungry so he went to the shops to buy some dinosaur food. He went home to eat it and when he was finished he had some green ice cream. (Nathan) A dinosaur with green ice cream by Delilah
The dinosaur wanted to climb a tree, so he went to the woods where the bears lived. He climbed to the highest branch and saw an astronaut up in space floating about. (Phoebe)

A princess, a frog and the wand by Hattie
The tree was as high as a mountain and it looked like a Christmas tree. The dinosaur held on to the branches that were sticking out and reached out to catch the astronaut, being gentle with his claws. (Betty)

The dinosaur thought it was time to go home so he grabbed branch to branch to make his way down the tree. The dinosaur took a walk back to his house but got lost in the spooky forest. Right at the end was a haunted house, inside the house was a skeleton and a ghost that were nice to the dinosaur. (Edward)
All of a sudden the dinosaur heard ‘Boo‛ and it was another ghost that made the dinosaur scared. So the dinosaur stood up and showed his claws which made him jump back and roar. The ghost and dinosaur both start to cry.

The dinosaur was sad so he found his baby gorilla toy to cuddle and cheer him up. The Ghost wanted something to cheer him up too so he found his baby cuddly toy ghost. This made A gorilla in a tree and a them both happy again so they played a game dinosaur by Oisin of chase. (George) The dinosaur and ghost go to have dinner at the swamp, where they ate chips. They then had a sleep over and lived happily ever after as best A dinosaur and ghost in a swamp by Freddie D friends. (Alicia) Thank you for playing with us at Bumpkins and making us smile every day.
