Baltimore Unity Hall
October 4th & October 5th
Baltimore, MD
TheBlackCanni TheBlackCanni
The Black Canni Health and Hemp Edition was created to provide a dedicated space for the Black community to engage with and benefit from the growing cannabis industry, focusing on both health and economic opportunities.
Address Health Disparities: There are significant gaps in health outcomes and access to cannabis-based treatments for people of color. This event aims to bridge those gaps by providing education on the health benefits of cannabis and hemp, particularly for managing chronic conditions and autoimmune issues that disproportionately affect Black communities.
Promote Economic Empowerment: The hemp and health sectors of the cannabis industry offer unique opportunities for entrepreneurship, job creation, and investment. The event provides resources, networking, and support for Black entrepreneurs, cultivators, and professionals to thrive in these areas.
Foster Knowledge Sharing and Community Building: It creates a platform for sharing knowledge and experiences, discussing the cultural significance of cannabis, and connecting with industry experts. By curating a space led by Black innovators, researchers, and policymakers, the event promotes community empowerment and collective growth.
Challenge Stigma and Misinformation: The event aims to dismantle negative stereotypes and misinformation around cannabis use in Black communities, providing accurate information about its health benefits and safe usage.
