lacquering to represent not only the waters, but also the sunrises and sunset witnessed aboard Regent’s ships. Designed by Liisa Tallgren, Fabergé’s Head of Design, and overseen by Josina von dem Bussche-Kessell, Fabergé’s Creative Director, the Fabergé x Regent


‘Journey in Jewels’ Egg Objet has been crafted using time-honoured techniques, with the production of the piece overseen by Fabergé Workmaster, Paul Jones, at his workshop in southern England. The outer ‘shell’ of the egg has been enamelled in an ombre of blues, representative of the colors of the sea. This ‘shell’ consists of seven intricate blades which, just like a wave, each break into a ‘sea foam’ of pearls and white diamonds at the tips in a truly extraordinary aesthetic feat. The majestic egg sits upon a plinth adorned with emeralds, tsavorites, blue sapphires and white diamonds, set in Fabergé’s ‘Emotion’ pavé style, with colourful gems specially chosen to evoke the colors of the ocean. This gem-set plinth is anchored to a stand which reflects layers of waves accented with pearls and diamonds at the edges; this design element is more geometric and symmetrical in a nod to the helm of Seven Seas Grandeur™. As with all Fabergé eggs, there is more than meets the eye. By rotating the pearl ‘helm’ anti-clockwise, the seven blades, a number specially chosen to represent the ‘seven seas’, delicately open in unison to reveal a surprise hidden within.

Being dubbed the “Minister of Happiness” in the tennis world is a unique title. How do you infuse joy and positivity into your approach to the game, and how does this contribute to your overall sense of fulfillment, both on and off the court? I bring my natural enthusiasm to every match, focusing on the joy of playing and competing. Maintaining a positive mindset is not always easy but it helps me navigate challenges and enjoy the game. On and off the court, spreading happiness brings me joy, it’s my fuel. Happiness often goes hand in hand with balance. How do you strike a balance between the rigorous demands of professional tennis and the pursuit of a happy and fulfilling lifestyle? Balancing the demands of professional tennis with a happy lifestyle is all about effective time management. My team helps me a lot in that space but it’s also my responsibility to preserve myself and my well-being. Self-care is crucial – both physically and mentally – to navigate the challenges of the sport life. Luxury is often associated with the finer things in life. Can you share a moment when you found pure joy or happiness during a Grand Slam final, and how did that contribute to your overall experience? Experiencing pure joy during Grand Slams is a feeling like no other. It’s not just about the competition; it’s about embracing the culmination of hard work and dedication to my tennis craft. One of my happiest Grand Slam moments was during the Wimbledon 2023 when I played against Petra Kvitova. I think my coach and I agree that it was one of my finest moments! As a symbol of happiness in sports, how do you engage with your fans and the tennis community to share moments of joy and celebration, especially during major tournaments? I love my title by the way! I always engage with fans during tournaments to share moments of joy and 21


celebration. Whether through social media, fan interactions, or on-court gestures, I enjoy spreading positivity and connect with everyone who shares in the excitement of the game. I’m so grateful for those connections and moments, I love people. The Minister of Happiness title suggests a broader impact beyond tennis. How do you envision using your platform to spread happiness and positivity, both within the tennis world and in society at large? As the ‘Minister of Happiness,’ my commitment goes beyond tennis. Through my charity foundation, I’m driven to bring joy to children in need, ensuring that even those facing financial challenges can experience the simple pleasures of life. This mission is not just a passion; it’s a mandate I feel deeply, using my platform to spread happiness and make a meaningful difference in the lives of those who deserve it In the realm of sports luxury, mental well-being is a crucial component. How do you prioritize happiness and mental wellness in your daily life, and how does it influence your performance on the tennis court? I prioritize daily happiness and mental wellness. Through mindfulness and self-reflection, I connect emotionally with my well-being. This not only fuels my resilience but also elevates my on-court performance. But I also find joy in simple things you know, I’m very close to my family and staying connected to them helps me immensely. Happiness is contagious, and your positive demeanor is well-noticed. How do you think your approach to the game and life sets an example for aspiring athletes, encouraging them to find joy in their pursuits? Happiness is indeed contagious, and I hope my positive approach to both the 22

Even if those never last too long, I always move on to the next challenge very quickly. But yes, whether it’s a significant win or a personal milestone, these celebrations contribute to a

ROLLS-ROY CE SPECTRE: THE ROLLS-ROY CE THAT CHANGES EVERYTHIN G Background In 1900, motoring pioneer The Hon Charles Stewart Rolls made a bold prediction in a magazine article: “The electric car is perfectly noiseless and clean. There is no smell or vibration. They should become very useful when fixed charging stations can be arranged,” he declared. Those words, written four years before his historic first meeting with Henry Royce, were to prove prophetic; but it was more than a century later that his vision was finally realised by the company they co-founded. In September 2021, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars confirmed it had begun testing of the first model in its history to be conceived and engineered from the beginning as an electric car. That testing programme extended to more than 2.5 million kilometres in every extreme of terrain and temperature, simulating over 400 years of normal use. A year later, in October 2022, Spectre was unveiled to the world: an audacious promise kept, and a monumental technical undertaking completed. As the first fully-electric RollsRoyce ever made, Spectre proves that battery-electric technology has entirely come of age, and can be successfully deployed at the very apex of automotive excellence, luxury and performance. It also represents an epochal technological and intellectual shift for the marque: by the end of 2030, its entire product portfolio will be fully electric; RollsRoyce will never again produce a new model with an internal combustion engine. 26

Spectre has created an entirely new class of motor car: the ultra-luxury electric super coupé. The all- electric powertrain takes the signature Rolls-Royce experience – instant torque, silent running and the sense of one imperceptible gear – and enhances it for a new generation of clients. Its ‘Decentralised Intelligence’

system enables free and direct exchange of information between thousands of individual vehicle functions, further elevating the marque’s celebrated ‘magic carpet ride’. And in its contemporary yet timeless aesthetic, it takes the brand’s design language and Bespoke capabilities into a new, electric age.

Spectre philosophy and positioning Spectre is the Rolls-Royce that changes everything – the world’s first ultra-luxury electric super coupé, ushering in the marque’s bold new all-electric future. Crucially, it is a Rolls-Royce first and an electric car second: no concessions

or compromises in terms of interior space, comfort, performance or ride quality have been made– indeed, all have been refined and augmented by the car’s underpinning architecture and engineering. A generously proportioned, visually striking two-door fastback, Spectre is the spiritual successor

‘Rolls-Royce 3.0’ The first Goodwood-era RollsRoyce, launched in 2003, was Phantom. Underpinned by its own Bespoke architecture, this was Rolls-Royce 1.0. For its successor, the marque created the ‘Architecture of Luxury’ (see below) - an all-aluminium spaceframe that also provides the foundations for Cullinan and Ghost - representing Rolls-Royce 2.0. With its fully-electric powertrain and Decentralised Intelligence, Spectre marks the start of Rolls-Royce 3.0, and a new era for super-luxury motoring. All-aluminium Architecture of Luxury Spectre is the fourth series RollsRoyce to be built on the Architecture of Luxury platform, which is unique and proprietary to RollsRoyce Motor Cars. move reminiscent of Charles Rolls’ famous prophecy, it was deliberately conceived from the outset to accommodate an electric powertrain as and when the technology became available. It comprises an all-aluminium spaceframe that is infinitely scalable and modifiable around four fixed points, one at each corner of the motor car. This inherent flexibility allows Rolls-Royce to adjust the bulkhead, floor, crossmembers and sill panels in a way most appropriate to each individual product. With Spectre, Rolls-Royce engineers unlocked previously unexplored potential in the concept. The sophisticated extruded aluminium sections and integration of the battery into the structure make Spectre’s spaceframe 30% stiffer than in any previous Rolls-Royce. The architecture also allowed engineers to place the floor halfway between the sill structures rather than above or underneath them. A channel for wiring and climate control pipework runs between the battery and the floor, with the battery mounted underneath, producing a perfectly smooth underfloor profile. This allows a low seating position, while moving the bulkhead location deepens the dashboard to create a truly cocooning passenger cabin. This sensation is amplified by Spectre’s dramatically raked windscreen, which also contributes to the car’s exceptional aerodynamics (see below). The battery’s position gives it a highly beneficial secondary function: fully 28

integrated into the motor car’s architecture, it acts as 700kg of additional acoustic insulation. All-electric drivetrain With Spectre, Rolls-Royce committed to an uncompromised electric future by specifying an all-electric

drivetrain rather than a hybrid solution. It is fitted with two Separately Excited Synchronous Motors (SSMs). The front electric motor produces 190kW / 365 Nm, with the rear motor delivering 360kW / 710 Nm. In performance terms, this equates to an internal combustion engine of 430kW (584 hp) with 900Nm of


torque. In terms of acceleration, Spectre achieves 0-60mph in 4.4 seconds (0-100km/h in 4.5 seconds). In establishing an appropriate range for Spectre, the marque first engaged with clients, to understand their requirements. The confirmed range of 530km (329 miles) WLTP

goes beyond these requirements, confirming that Spectre fits perfectly into the lifestyle of RollsRoyce clients, who have an average of more than seven cars in their garage to choose from for any occasion, and who drive an average of 5,100km in their current RollsRoyce per year.

Charge time from 10-80% is 34 minutes using a 195 kW (DC) fast charger: this will also produce sufficient charge for 100km in around nine minutes. Spectre is equipped with Active Lane Centring and Adaptive Cruise Control simultaneously. 29

L

angen Technology Limited (Langen), one of the leading automotive engineering and development companies, specialising in hand built, limited production motorcycles, will be proudly presenting their new Langen LightSpeed 1200 (LS-12) at Motorcycle Live 2023 at the National Exhibition Centre Birmingham between the 18th and 26th of November 2023. Following the huge success of their first production motorcycle - The Two Stroke, Langen’s latest offering continues to demonstrate the company’s ability to build achingly beautiful, high-performance motorcycles using the very best components, fuelled by the team’s passion to combine innovation with emotion. The LightSpeed is a truly awesome motorcycle with a power to weight ratio of 1,000hp per tonne, built into

a head turning street bike - the likes of which have never been seen before. The machine incorporates carbon fibre bodywork wrapped round a high tensile steel tubular space frame, Ohlins front forks and rear shock absorbers and Hel performance callipers grabbing 320mm twin floating front discs. The beating heart of the LightSpeed is a liquid-cooled, transverse 72-degree V-Twin, Rotax engine bred on the racetrack. Manufactured by Buell Motorcycles and developed by Langen to deliver 185hp @ 10,600 RPM at the crank. The UK launch edition will be limited to just 185 units homologated for the UK and as with the Two


Stroke, will offer customers a range of bespoke options including paintwork, a choice of handlebars, wheels, and other unique finishing touches. Build slots can be reserved from today with delivery expected in early 2025. Worldwide type approved models will be available in limited numbers from 2026. Langen HQ have reported that some existing Two Stroke customers have already placed deposits ‘off plan’ for the Lightspeed without even seeing the bike. entley Motors and Contest Yachts have created a bespoke Bentley yacht interior for a mutual private client in the newly modelled 20-metre Contest 67CS – a celebration of craft, excellence, quiet luxury, and heritage. Bentley was commissioned to create the bespoke interior following a visit to Bentley’s Crewe Factory. The Bentley design team who specialise in crafting interiors for the

Continental GT and Bentayga accepted the challenging brief and created a totally bespoke interior offering based on the materials and techniques used in Bentley cars. The Contest 67CS now opens the way to a fully matched Bentley auto yacht interior providing exciting new bespoke opportunities for owners to enjoy the shared values and heritage in luxury performance and lifestyle of both brands.

Bentley worked closely with the Contest Yachts design team to create the unique interior – an exciting challenge that pushed the creative boundaries of its craftspeople. Prototyping methods such as 3D printing were harnessed to enable feasibility of individual components with a full mock-up of some items including the sofa produced prior to fit out to ensure exacting finishes and demanding quality standards were met. Bentley’s iconic diamond

quilted hides were book matched across the entire vessel interior with details such as the tissue box and drinks coasters created from scratch to the customer’s taste. Specialist techniques such as hand cross stitching, usually used to produce the Bentley steering wheel were adapted and adopted throughout. Bentley Home furnishings are featured including the Malvern Chair - a tribute to the geometries of the

Bentley cars. Additionally, one-off designs were also created for the new Contest including a bespoke bar and vanity unit. The Contest Yacht’s Captain’s chair and ‘Egg’ table were also trimmed as a one off by Bentley. The sofa which was built by hand at Bentley’s engineering facility was precision finished in Bentley trim. “We are delighted to be working with Bentley Motors, adding the option of fully matched Bentley auto and yacht interiors to our portfolio,” says Contest CEO Arjen Conijn. “Previously for an enthusiast of both Contest and Bentley brands we styled and fabricated a one-off example of our Contest 59CS. This new

arrangement, though, takes our cooperation to quite another level, creating the option of an additional dedicated line of Bentley-featured Contest Yachts. We hold so many of the same beliefs and ambitions, it totally makes sense bringing our

THE STORY OF THE DESIGN STUDIO, THE VISION OF ITS FOUNDER AND MORE…

M

y passion for the automotive industry is what drove me straight to the core of the industry but my desire to design cars is what made me establish a transportation design studio, so we can start the conversation that will ultimately lead to a change in the region when it comes to car design! When everyone thought the idea is crazy, destined for failure; C A D seems to keep pushing boundaries and connect with the niche who share the same vision and passion for car design. I was living in Turin when the new wave of electric cars was just rising in Europe, and I remember thinking to myself, this will revolutionize the industry and the way we perceive automotive manufacturing, design will be the new value not HP or how fuel efficient the car is, and I had a feeling back then, that the Middle East will be catching up to this wave very soon. Fast forward to 2021 when I started C A D I wanted to be the first to catch this wave!

Therefore, looking at the Middle East now, at least 3 new automotive establishments are found to be under the spotlight, and they are all about electric cars; manufacturing plants are under construction and a lot more is yet to be unraveled… So, I have this vision to be the leading design studio, providing designs from a cultural and regional perspectives, as this is our unique added value. Our humble team of experts from around the world and Jordan is what will set us apart! We speak the Arabic language; we speak car design language we understand the market way batter than any other market research; we will best representation of the new Arabic car design no matter the country it will be launched from. This reason specifically turned C A D into this dynamic connecting point between the east and the west, which opened the gate to great strategic partnerships and collaborations despite our young age as a design studio.


In this light, this is what contributes to the hidden meaning behind the name “Concepts” we started with a concept, an idea, a simple conversation about automotive design, and today it reflects well the flow of work and how we carry ourselves as a team, from a concept to reality via passion! C A D operates in 2 realms, the virtual and the real one! Unfortunately we cannot YET speak of our real projects taking place on the grounds of Abu-Dhabi, but we can speak about our concept designs, the solutions we have proposed to different entities on a local level in which we explored different scenarios regarding their needs and demands in request to the future of Military vehicle design and vehicle design in reference to tourism in Wadi Rum. C A D isn’t just another design studio; it’s also about social responsibility and a true testimony to women’s role in the industry whether it was on mechanical engineering aspect or car design. The minute C A D started having a solid base, it was so important to establish a CSR arm known

as “WOMOTIVE”, a hub for women who share the passion to cars to find the support system they need from training and working opportunities in this industry with it’s divers fields; which quickly escalated to “PHONEIX” a by-product to the initiative; the first car design and detailing center led by an women staff, who are IDA certified and professionally trained through the initiative’s training programs. On a more personal note, it is worth highlighting here the many challenges I had to face simply because I was passionate about cars, however, “society” wasn’t ready for that! That’s why Concepts 4 Automotive Design, WOMOTIVE, and Phoenix stand their grounds today. In the end what started as a dream of navigating a very challenging environment, dealing with what the world labelled as “a man’s world” turned into 3 fresh, futuristic, well-structured, and socially responsible businesses. And from this platform, I would like to send this message to the world: this is only the beginning for CAD.

TELL US ABOUT YOUR DESIGN BACKGROUND AND THE HISTORY OF THE BRAND? Briefly I am a multidisciplinary designer. Started with interior design projects then moved the experience furniture, architecture, and landscape design, I devoted all my time for the brand since 2018 after my master studies ,MONARK Interiors is a research-based design studio that was established in Istanbul, and is thus still a young company with a small team. However, our team of 76

passionate designers and specialists that represent a long experience in this business and hold many nationalities and backgrounds, made it possible for us to operate, both locally and globally. Three years after establishment we moved to have our second branch in Doha January 2021 with our partners and official presenters “ZAN design” for the scope of gulf countries; as my previous experience already stepped up starting there. and now we have a brilliant position in the Jordanian market and Levant countries since 2020.

Our furniture and lighting customization services took a place in the market after two years of research and prototyping for some items testing the quality, capability and prices of the best factories and ateliers in the Turkish market; to identify the shape of our joint ventures with selected ones, until we were able to build the crafters empire we aspired to. Today we have our own experienced crafters and technicians and our own Atelier in Ankara and Istanbul.

How do you select the words or texts for your compositions, and what significance do they hold in your pieces? I’ve chosen books from various cultures to explore diverse perspectives, as I believe that art truly comes to life when shared with others. Sharing my art allows me to connect with people and enrich our collective understanding of the world.

The intricate and dynamic patterns in your art are truly captivating. Could you describe your creative process in achieving this sense of movement in your work, and what emotions or messages are you aiming to convey through these patterns? My artistic process is a collaborative journey. I use fountain pens, carefully select inks and papers from various brands, and draw inspiration from a myriad of sources like books and ideas. I create videos to capture and describe my art. What makes it truly unique is the special team behind it all. We have composers crafting distinct music for each series, digital designers enhancing the artwork, and even my camera person contributing to the narrative. This art is a collective effort, not just my creation. Your cultural heritage from Lebanon is a significant part of your identity as an artist. How does your background influence your artistic choices and the stories you tell through your art? Being Lebanese has enriched my life in many ways. Growing up in Ras Beirut and studying Business at


the American University of Beirut has given me a diverse perspective. I speak almost five languages, and marrying an Armenian has broadened my horizons. This cultural amalgamation has fostered an open-mindedness that welcomes anyone, any culture, and any idea for discussion. Can you share some of the literary figures who have had a profound impact on your work, and how have they influenced your artistic journey? My journey began with the “Confessions of St. Augustine,” but as I delved into Arabic letters, I realized their poetic beauty to foreign eyes. It became clear that Arabic was the perfect choice, and what better text to write in this language than the Quran, a source of profound wisdom and linguistic artistry? My exploration of Arabic and Lebanese literature continued to evolve. After choosing to write in Arabic, I delved into the rich world of Lebanese literature, embracing the works of iconic authors like Gibran Khalil Gibran, Said Akl, and Michael Naimeh. This literary journey opened up new dimensions in my writing and cultural understanding. Your art pieces seem to transcend cultural boundaries, appealing to a global audience. What do you believe is the universal message or experience that your art conveys, regardless of the viewer’s cultural background? Coming from a family of diverse cultures has taught us the invaluable lessons of acceptance, embracing our differences, and the importance of effective communication. We’ve discovered that written and spoken words, filled with understanding and compassion, can bridge any gap. The art of

conveying lenient words through drawing is a captivating means of communication, reminding us of the constant need for meaningful interaction in today’s world. Communication truly lies at the heart of our connections, and it’s something we need now more than ever. I was born in Poole, Dorset, a picturesque coastal town renowned for its association with Sunseeker yachts. Throughout my formative years, I became accustomed to witnessing the splendour of these magnificent super yachts and various other vessels gracing the quaysides of Poole. At the time, the notion of pursuing a career as a yacht broker specializing in Sunseekers or any other type of boat had not crossed my mind. It was only later in my professional journey that I made the deliberate decision to immerse myself in the marine industry as a yacht broker. My initial foray into this realm began with the sale of sailing boats in Weymouth. Subsequently, I relocated to Southampton, where I became associated with a company involved in the distribution of Azimut Italian yachts. It was during this period that Sunseeker 84

extended an invitation for me to join their team in 2005. While based in the United Kingdom, my role frequently entailed extensive travel, with visits to Italy, France, Spain, and the Balearic Islands. In 2007, I seized the opportunity to relocate to the South of France, where I spent a year working in Monaco and along the illustrious Côte d’Azur. In 2008, I was recruited by a company based in Dubai, which, at that time, served as the authorized distributor for Azimut yachts within the GCC (Gulf Cooperation Council). My mission involved facilitating the establishment of an office in Abu Dhabi. I dedicated a year to this endeavour before transitioning to a period of consultancy work, specializing in the Superyacht and Mega yacht sectors, encompassing both brokerage and marina-related projects. In 2012, my trajectory took a pivotal turn when Brett Noble and I conceived the idea of launching Bush and Noble, a boutique yacht brokerage and consultancy firm. Our primary focus revolved around providing comprehensive advice on yacht acquisition, sales, ownership, and a highly personalized service catering to the unique needs of yacht owners. Over the years, Bush and Noble evolved into the largest yacht brokerage company in the region, offering a wide array of services. In addition to our brokerage activities, we undertook distributorship roles for various manufacturers. ROMERO GROUP OUR STORY Let us take you on a journey back in time; the year 1921, a young doctor by the name of Fausto Tesio established the Italian Hospital in the heart of the new city near the ancient Roman Amphitheatre. Deeply inspired by her father’s great passion for Jordan, Flavia Romero took her Italian roots and planted them in Amman by opening Romero Restaurant in 1979. Flavia continued to add pieces of her culture to the restaurant, which grew to become a haven for Mediterranean cuisine in Jordan. In 1988, the legacy created by Romero was handed over to Mr. Zaid Goussous, whose passion and love for fine cuisine continues to drive his inspiration today. SEABOURN PURSUIT – 11 DAY ANTARCTIC GREAT WHITE CONTINENT VOYAGE

I

had the great privilege of joining one of the first Antarctic expeditions on Seabourn’s newest ship, Seabourn Pursuit. Having never cruised I was unsure what to expect and traveling to Antarctica on Pursuit’s 11 day Great White Continent Voyage is not something you can really imagine. Seabourn exceeded my expectations and more, as did the amazing scenery and on land experiences. I was like a private yacht experience with everything you could dream of at your fingertips including local knowledge and expertise and supreme comfort both inside my suite and in the variety of lounges and dining areas.

Suites and Service Seabourn offers absolute understated luxury, in every sense. From the many briefings, updates and guidance on how to navigate this glorious part of the world through to the suites and on-board experiences, the intuitive service was world class. Having travelled extensively over the years I was incredibly impressed by the detail in the suites, including twice daily servicing and personalised mini bar selections.

For those who might be concerned about wet weather gear, all the key items are provided including Helly Hansen jackets (to keep), and each suite has its own drying closet. You can also stay connected by choosing to access Starlink. Cuisine The food on board was world class. I was lucky to experience a private tour with the Chef and he explained the effort and care that goes into ensuring each dining experience is world class, not easily achieved in one of the most remote places in the world. From in room dining through to the fine dining Restaurant, the standard is exceptional. With daily menu changes, cuisine offerings from around the world and multiple dining options including made to order sushi and 24 hr in room dining, every need is catered for including dietary requirements and special requests. Nothing is too difficult, and it’s done with a smile. Expedition Experiences The expedition experiences are exceptional. Safety is priority and guests are fully briefed on the environment and necessary precautions on land. Environmental


care and protection is paramount and places visited are left as they are found. The Seabourn team is a wealth of knowledge when it comes to the Antarctic and strive to exceed guest’s expectations. Our voyage encompassed Mikkelsen Harbour where we spotted Wendell seals, Gentoo and Adelie penguins; Half Moon Island and Chinstrap penguin sightings, Zodiac cruises among icebergs in Cierva Cove and the “penguin highway” on Cuverville Island, located at the entrance of the Errera Channel, surrounded by mountains and glaciers. Groups are taken by Zodiacs to land and for tours of areas that cannot be accessed by foot. The process for boarding is simple with 24 zodiacs able to take all guests at one time. We enjoyed the optional experience of double seat kayaking and it was spectacular. We were able to take in the views and sounds of the Antarctic, expertly guided experiencing the wonders in silence. The Spa Spa treatments were incredible and I indulged in some deep tissue massages, perfect after a day exploring or kayaking.

A multitude of ‘Seabourn Moments’ There were so many ‘Seabourn Moments’ it’s difficult to choose one however I can say that serving Champagne and Caviar on the Bow as Seabourn Pursuit entered the Antarctic Circle for the first time, 66 degrees North of the equator was quite spectacular as was seeing our first iceberg whilst crossing the Drake Passage. AN EVENING OF PROPERTY INSIGHTS

W

e enjoyed a property market update from members KNS Construction and New Zealand Sotheby’s International Realty at their beautiful National Exhibition Gallery in Britomart, Auckland. By the entrance, we had the stunning new Grecale and MC20 from Maserati on display. Key takeaways were that there will be limited supply over the next few years in the luxury inner city Auckland “buying of the plan” apartment segment due to the lack of new projects being initiated, so now should be a good time to take advantage of existing projects like 51 Alberts or Seascape to get potential long term upside, either for living or as an investment. The construction industry is holding up and those companies having to scale back, were predominantly those growing exponentially and taking on a lot more staff during and after COVID-19. Material costs have stayed high and there is little expectation that they will come down any time soon due to inflationary pressure. We also want to thank Pernod Ricard for the beautiful Church Road Reserve wine we enjoyed whilst listening to our inspiring speakers.
