It sets apart the women and men who will wear these pieces as free spirits seeking distinction.

With a richness rarely achieved in terms of design, in the diversity of gemstones and range of designs, this 150th anniversary collection unveils its jewels in each of three emblematic Piaget realms: “Extraleganza”, “Piaget Society”, and “When mastery ignites artistry”.

Emblematic realms

Extraleganza - Named for its fusion of “extravagance” and “elegance”, this first chapter reveals the jeweller’s creative soul and avant-garde taste, adorned models set with exceptional stones in gold and light. The spectacular Swinging Sautoir in turquoise, malachite, and yellow sapphire – a signature Piaget piece since 1969 – is a perfect demonstration.

Piaget Society - This second chapter celebrates the boldness of Piaget and its distinctive approach to jewellery. Here, richly coloured pieces make use of design and contract among gems to form a metaphor for the whirlwind life of those who wear them.

When mastery ignites artistry - Under the combined influence of the Maison’s virtuosity in craftsmanship and the historical Piaget taste for the couture theme, this realm brings precious textures to gold while offering it a whole new fluidity.

David Yurman, America’s foremost luxury jewelry brand, is pleased to announce model and actress Iris Law and model Fei Fei Sun as its newest global ambassadors, debuting in a series of five campaigns throughout the year, beginning with two of David Yurman’s most iconic and sought after collections this spring – Sculpted Cable and Modern Cable.

Directed by the Durimel Brothers and styled by Carlos Nazario in Los Angeles, the Sculpted Cable and Modern Cable campaigns tell the story of women paving their own way in life while highlighting David Yurman’s signature and new jewelry designs.

Photographed by Tyrone Lebon in the hills of Santa Monica, the talented Law and Sun are styled in the brand’s iconic Sculpted Cable bracelets as they are depicted making choices that ‘carve their own path’. The HX50 delivers five beautifully sculpted wide seats, giving the pilot and each passenger unprecedented levels of comfort. The seats and cabin are crafted from the finest materials, combining two-tone Nappa leather, French stitching, Alcantara trim and first-class brushed metal.

Each seat offers personal storage, USB ports and fourpoint harnesses. Headset holders and powered headset jacks are integrated into the seat headrests, effectively reducing the clutter caused by cabin ceiling jacks and headrest storage. Climate control and Bluetooth connectivity are also provided throughout the cabin.

ALL FUNCTIONS CONTROLLED VIA THE INTEGRATED PILOT INTERFACE (IPI)

HDC provides a clean, simple and intuitive cockpit workflow, with a single control interface, the integrated pilot interface (IPI). The IPI is located conveniently to hand, is easy to see and delivers streamlined control for every aircraft system.

FULL INTEGRATION OF IPAD-BASED NAVIGATION AND FLIGHT PLANNING APPS

The centrally located iPad connects with the HDC allowing the planned route to be seamlessly

synchronised in real time from major navigation apps with the onboard GPS, autopilot and flight management system making VFR navigation simpler than ever before.

INTELLIGENT PILOT SUPPORT AND WORKLOAD REDUCTION

HDC allows profound workload reduction by monitoring the aircraft and delivering information in an entirely context sensitive manner, providing only the information required by the pilot as it is needed and alerting pilots to changing or urgent conditions. This allows the ‘normal’ display presentation of primary flight information to be far cleaner and simpler than ever before.

HILL HAPTIC CONTROL SYSTEM

Shaped force feedback through the flight controls protects the aircraft and operational envelope by means of haptic forces that generate a distinctive ‘feel’ as limits are approached. In the case of the haptic power manager the system stiffens the collective resistance as power limits are approached and the broader system provides enhanced resistance and vibratory feedback to deliver envelope protection for vortex ring, VNE and rotor speed limits through the cyclic and collective controls.

MUCH MORE THAN AN ELECTRONIC FLIGHT INSTRUMENT SYSTEM

HDC is the user gateway to our operating and support platform for each and every HX50 and owner. Our pioneering Hill Cloud and App services deliver the Hill Active Safety Management (HASM) system providing an all-new, streamlined and proactive approach to flight safety for private owners. HASM delivers electronic management of the aircraft, licensing, pilot status and logs, along with our cloud-based flight data and video recording system that delivers active pilot oversight, safety monitoring, mentoring and support.

The real strength of the GT50 lies in its simplicity. Simple to design, simple to develop, simple to manufacture, simple to maintain and simple to operate. The key to designing a simple engine has been the ruthless focus on delivering the perfect engine for the HX50.

INNOVATIVE TO THE CORE

The expensive and heavy compressor turbine gearbox of the past has been completely eliminated, with a direct-drive starter-generator being employed to dramatically reduce the cost and mechanical complexity

of the engine. Extensive use of redundant electrical engine ancillaries further simplifies the engine package, and modular design makes for easy maintenance.

UNMATCHED EFFICIENCIES

The Hill GT50 employs state-of-the-art component and gas-path design delivering unmatched component and cycle efficiencies for an entry-level turbine. The outstanding performance and operating range for the compressor and turbines is coupled with an efficient and bio-fuel ready modern annular combustor system, providing a pragmatic route to carbon-neutrality for all Hill Helicopters. The engine has been completely optimised around the unique requirements of the HX50, allowing for a significant improvement in engine performance and durability.

Every feature has been engineered for the ultimate in utility, safety, convenience and especially aesthetic appeal, from streamlined blades to deep panoramic windows to sturdy undercarriage, with a choice of two types of landing gear. WHEELS CONVENIENCE AND PERFORMANCE

Both the nose and main gear retract, using a simple hydraulic system, isolated from the flight controls and able to lock the gear up, down and deploy even in the event of a complete lack of hydraulic power.

Inspired by birds in flight, HX50’s retractable landing gear allows efficient high speed cruising, while offering effortless ground handling wherever you choose to land.

RETRACTABLE BLADES EASY TO PARK

When folded back in the retracted position, the blades fit perfectly to the shape of the aircraft, making it compact enough to fit into confined spaces. Used together with the Helimove Smart System, his offers even greater ease of control on the ground.

The House of Q, a new pop-up experience by Aston Martin inside London’s prestigious Burlington Arcade, has been created to celebrate 60 years of Aston Martin’s long-running association with the 007 film franchise. The relationship began with the 1964 release of Goldfinger, the film which introduced James Bond to the now iconic DB5.

Launched alongside V57, a special James Bond anniversary edition of Aston Martin’s luxury lifestyle magazine, the House of Q by Aston Martin is accessed through a secret door within what appears to be a magazine newsstand inside

House 12-13 Burlington Arcade, off Piccadilly in London’s Mayfair. V57 features a specially designed illustration on the cover as well as editorial detailing the relationship between Aston Martin and 007.

Covert messages will lead guests through a secret door. Visiting agents will then discover a speakeasy bar serving Champagne Bollinger. The bar is adorned with technical drawings and parts from the original DB5 with sketches, diagrams and schematics from the archives of both Aston Martin and EON Productions. On display is a top-secret Q flight case, along with hints at a future Aston Martin model, for those able to uncover it.

American luxury lifestyle brand Tory Burch, in partnership with leading global beauty company Shiseido Americas Corporation, introduces its newest fragrance, Sublime. The campaign featuring Kendall Jenner was photographed by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott and concepted by Be Good Studios.

Antoine, could you share a brief overview of your professional journey and how you ended up in Qatar, working with QShield?

My journey started with QShield in 2013, when I first joined as a sales and business development manager. In 2018, I was awarded the position of Business Development Director. In 2021, I became the General Manager.

Even prior to that, I had great experience working and living in the Middle East and the GCC. I was born and raised in Lebanon, then lived in Abu Dhabi for 3 years, and now I am in Doha since 2008.

When I first arrived in Qatar, I was the Sales and PR Manager for the Diplomatic Club, then moved to the IFG Group for 2 years.

Because of my expansive background in different sectors (like banking, retail, insurance and hospitality), I was equipped with the industry knowledge and skillset that provided me with the confidence and cultural awareness to become more effective with my role at QShield.

What inspired you to transition across different industries, such as F&B, insurance, and immigration services, during your career?

Holding a basket filled with a strong network and connections, solidified with life-long experience in different fields, I found myself

able to excel in my first position as Sales and Business Development Manager at QShield.

I leveraged all my experiences and poured them into a single entity, which is QShield. The very first step I took in this role was reaching out to my network and building trust and reliability with my clients through QShield, regardless of their respective industry focus.

Our first client, Huwaei, is in the telecom sector. They are still with us today! And the domino effect happened from there onwards, which is when I realized that I could bring more sectors into our businesses.

Now, I am proud to say that we cover over 23 industries, including: oil and gas, insurance, retail, hospitality, education, fashion, defense, finance, and more.

You will notice most of my friends, colleagues, and even acquaintances name me as “Antoine QShield” on their phone Caller-ID instead of “Antoine Klimos”. I am honestly very proud of that; QShield is my family! They all know that Antoine is the person who can be relied on when it comes to professional services and the person with whom they can spend quality time outside of work. This is my balance.

What motivates you to continuously strive for excellence in your field?

The rolling hills and dramatic parkland estate were the perfect setting for our ambitious golfers to strut their stuff. As players swung clubs, replaced divots and enjoyed the hospitality along the ample course activations, golfers whooped and groaned as the notoriously cruel mistress made heroes of few and humbled many.

With a plethora of prizes available there were many chances to win, including beat the pro, top scorers, “busiest golfer” - for that read: most shots taken - nearest to the pin and a hole in one prize that included a Mercedes Benz! Unfortunately, on this occasion, the only drivers utilised came out of a golf bag and the Merc left the course unclaimed.

The teams consisted of a broad range of handicaps, but it was top scorers, Alexandra Taylor and William Bishops, who bagged a two-night stay at Mazagan Golf and Beach Resort, Morocco and thanks to our headline sponsors The Luxury Travel Club and Kezner.

Installing our own ‘water features’ designed to delight our golfers, players had the chance to sample drinks generously provided by our drinks partners Friarwood Wines and Spirits, Moët and Chandon, Neurita Tequila, Neptune Spring Water, Spiritfilled Whisky, Stella Artois and Tidal Rum.

The Luxury Network Lebanon hosted its second International Networking Golden Hour Cigar Event at Casino du Liban on July 23, 2024, at La Martingale Terrace, located within the iconic Casino du Liban. The event brought together over 150 VIP guests from Lebanon and abroad, and was organized in partnership with AJ Fernandez Cigars and House of Cigars.

Mrs. Karen Boustany, CEO of The Luxury Network Lebanon, warmly welcomed the esteemed guests. She provided an overview of TLN, founded in 2007 in London, United Kingdom, and explained its position as

the world’s leading luxury affinity marketing and business networking group, connecting prestigious luxury brands across 50 cities globally. She also introduced Mr. Marko Bilic, a world-renowned cigar ambassador who traveled exclusively from Croatia to present his global show.
