“The Park Hops are each designed to focus on a different domain of childhood development. This session focused on social competence - things like getting along with their peers, following instructions, respect, and taking responsibility for their actions.

The activities we (FRN and AHS) planned today included Giant Kerplunk, to work on turn taking and winning or losing with grace, a scavenger hunt to work on following instructions, and a relay race that focused on working as a team. We also read a story about being a good friend.”
