Wu Tang Clan sell album for over $1m American hiphop group Wu Tang Clan have sold a secret album for more than $1m, with a clause that states the buyer cannot play the music publically. No man, woman or child considers themselves to be an Island; in unity there is love, hope, peace and understanding. Let not race or religious beliefs divide us and conquer us, as we greatly need to unify throughout 2016 and onwards. Let’s unite this New Year. Make that change; inclusion not exclusion is The Nubian Times/ TNT News’ driving force. Let us all share the same ethos, and exercise tolerance and educate or mentor someone who needs help. On 18 November, Manchester Arndale hosted a VIP launch party, which saw the opening of Santa’s Christmas tree star grotto in the centre by Halle Sqaure.

Having recently been selected as Manchester Arndale’s Charity Star 2015/2016, Home-Start Greater Manchester came to the centre to kick-start a year of events. Young party goers enjoyed festive face painting whilst Santa’s helpers at the grotto got into character at the party.

Attacks on British Muslims Rise by 300% TNT News

ccording to reports released to the Government, there has been a sharp rise in islamophobic attacks in the UK. Since the killings in Paris, there has been a 300% increase in attacks against British Muslims, with women and children being the main targets of the assaults. The Tell Mama helpline, which records verbal and physical attacks on Muslims and OQUSWGU KP VJG 7- EQORKNGF VJG Ć“IWTGU 6JG[ noted that this was just an estimation of the problem, as many people are too frightened to report incidents. Most of the victims were Muslim girls and women aged 14 to 45 wearing traditional Islamic dress. The attackers were mainly white males aged 15 to 35. Beswick school is set to double its number of students with the completion of a ÂŁ3.15m building project, which has just opened its doors to pupils. The completed building work means Ashbury Meadow Primary School, who are recently ranked ‘outstanding’ in all areas by Ofsted, will eventually be able to accommodate up to 472 children. ugby Union and New Zealand legend Jonah Lomu has died at the age of just 40. Known as ‘the gentle giant of rugby’, Lomu passed away in his hometown of Auckland on Tuesday night. He had been diagnosed with a serious and rare kidney condition in 1995 and received a transplant in 2004, however the organ stopped functioning in 2011. The All Blacks hero scored 37 tries in 63 matches for his country from 1994 to 2002. After battling with these health issues for many years, he eventually retired from the sport in 2002, and since then has devoted himself to mentoring young players. Childhood friend Tasha Tasmania has paid homage to Lomu by acknowledging his battling qualities, whilst talking about Auckland she remarked, “Growing up this area was saturated with gangs and crime but Jonah managed to escape thatâ€?.
