CITY PROPOSES BIG CHANGES FOR MAJOR PARKDALE INTERSECTION

SMALL FX COMPANY IN LIBERTY VILLAGE HAS WORKED ON SOME BIG FILMS From the Oscar award-winning film The Revanant to Incredible Hulk and Allegiant, Soho VFX is making its mark in several big budget films. The visual effects team first set up shop at the John Brunswick building at 99 Liberty Ave. about a decade ago and has now grown to about 100 people. CITY HEALTH AUTHORITIES RECOMMEND SAFE INJECTION SITE FOR QUEEN WEST Toronto’s public health authorities say opening safe injection sites in Queen West as well as South Riverdale and Yonge-Dundas Square will save lives and make those neighbourhoods safer. More than 200 people in Toronto died after injecting drugs in 2013.
