The cost to fix the high-priority damages to 10 Greek Gods sculptures created by the late E. B. Cox, which are currently residing on the Muzik nightclub pool bar property, is $55,000. The Board of Governors of Exhibition Place was presented with a report conducted by the board-appointed stone conservator Trevor Gillingwater, which outlined the repair urgency from low to high. According to the report, the statues’ state of despair range from a toe nearly falling off to deep abrasions.

According to coard chair Diane Young, the cost puts pressure on the board’s operating budget, with the funding taken from various budgets earmarked for other expenditures, and a partial cost to the nightclub owner. Repair costs per statue range from $3,000 to $8,000. The board plans to repair the 10 statues as it is the cheapest option at the moment, as moving the sculpture to a new location on Exhibition grounds and repairing the sculptures all at once could cost upward of $450,000. In an exclusive interview with the Parkdale Villager, Brett Chang talked about the failure of Line Six to convince commuters it could be a viable transportation alternative to the TTC despite the crush of

enthusiasm following its launch as a pilot service. Chang, along with business partner Taylor Scollon, have moved on from Line Six to launch a new website www. InTouchGov.com which solicits feedback and ratings from users across various categories of TTC service.
