Muzik nightclub owner Zltako Starkovski is looking to leave the club scene after the shooting of two patrons early last month.
“We can start steering the ship in a different direction,” Starkovski told the Exhibition board of governors at a meeting Sept. 4. “But I need the board’s help to do that.” According to Starkovski’s

As a scenic artist on such films as the yet-to-be-released film Suicide Squad and the actionadventure Pompei movie, Erin Leslie borrowed from her wide range of skills. A High Park area resident, Leslie was tapped to create exact replicas of props actors would use, such as weapons and accessories, like an axe or tomahawk. There would be one real one and 10 soft props that would come out of a mold looking like black rubber that needed painting. “It’s a very dynamic, diverse career with lots of ups and downs,” Leslie told The Villager. “There’s a great diversity of skills that are required – and a lot of it has to be learned on the job.” There is no other job that can compare, Leslie added.
