Our Mission
To inspire bright, curious minds to become confident, compassionate leaders.
The story of Pegasus begins with intellectual curiosity and compassion. We are a vibrant academic community that inspires bright, motivated students to discover and develop their unique gifts. Teachers and students build trusting relationships that foster a sense of belonging, self-reliance, and innovative thinking. A pre-K–8 Pegasus education equips students to achieve future academic success and make a positive impact on society.
Following our passions and searching for insights that lead to new discoveries every day.
Constantly learning from the world we live in and the people around us.
With lessons big and small, intimate and world-changing. Compassionate in our understanding and firm in our values with no lesson too big or too small.
Protecting the undeniable spirit within every child and encouraging it to shine in magnificent, unexpected ways.
Believers in the established principles of our predecessors and leading the way to new, profound paths of learning.
Forming new ways of fusing curiosity, knowledge, and experience.
People from different backgrounds with one common goal: to inspire bright, curious minds to become confident, compassionate leaders.
By embracing the Pegasus principles of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Justice (DEIJ), we strive to foster a sense of belonging within our school community whereby each member feels seen, valued, and supported.
We are committed to offering an exceptional independent school education to all qualified students regardless of the family’s ability to pay. The School fully funds our generous financial assistance program to cover 100% of demonstrated need. Awards may cover anywhere from 5% to 100% of tuition and other expenses.
We encourage any family concerned about affordability to reach out to the Director of Enrollment and Financial Aid to learn more.
We can’t wait to get to know you and your child! We are looking for students who are bright, motivated, curious, and compassionate. Pegasus students thrive with academic challenge and are inspired to develop their unique gifts. Pegasus parents value an education that develops the whole child. The admissions process is designed to assess both a student’s cognitive abilities and social emotional skills.
