FROM THE HEAD OF SCHOOL

Dear Pegasus Community,

D

uring my career as an educator, I have come to appreciate two main things about the beginning of every school year. First, I

love the fresh start that every new year brings. Second, I relish our opportunity to build upon the prior year’s successes and learnings. This past year has been filled with successes, thanks to your continued generosity and support for our wonderful school, and for that we are most grateful. Last year, our incredible Pegasus community rallied together in a truly extraordinary way. Through your collective efforts, we achieved remarkable success in our fundraising endeavors, including the annual fund, gala, and our raise the paddle campaign. The results speak volumes about the dedication and commitment that define our school community. Among the many significant improvements we have made to elevate the quality of education at The Pegasus School, one stands out as a testament to the power of our community’s support: the establishment of our new media lab, which will serve as the home of our TV production studio, Thunder TV. This state-of-the-art facility is a

FROM THE PTO PRESIDENT

Dear Pegasus Community,

T

he 2022–2023 school year was an incredible year for our Parent Teacher Organization (PTO)! We always strive to

create an environment where our community collaborates to enrich the Pegasus experience for students, teachers and staff, as well as for all of our families. And we did just that! With the help of many parent volunteers, we embarked on a calendar year filled with all of our signature events and programs. I want to take a moment to celebrate the successes we achieved together. Our accomplishments were many thanks to all of our volunteers. Two of our great service projects were highlights for me. Our students created over 250 Boo Bags to give to children at CHOC hospital during Halloween. We also assembled over 325 art/educational kits for students throughout OC. In addition, partnering with administration, we brought back a newly formatted Generations Day, allowing families and special friends back on campus to participate with their students in various activities throughout the day. As we look forward, I am excited to see our PTO continue to
