Ways to Give

CASH OR CHECK

Most families choose to donate by check. Make checks payable to The Pegasus School and either drop it off or mail it to the development office.

CREDIT CARD

We also accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, or American Express. You can go online at thepegasusschool.org/giving/make-a-gift or visit the development office.

PLEDGES

Another useful way to show your commitment to The Pegasus School is with pledges. They allow you to participate early in campaigns, yet delay payment until a date that works best for your family or for tax deductions. Pledges can be fulfilled by cash, check, credit card, or securities in single or monthly installments. For help planning pledges, contact Elle Charles (echarles@thepegasusschool.org)

MATCHING GIFTS

Many companies match employee donations, making this a great way to increase your impact. We will recognize the total combined donation from both you and your employer’s matching gift. Contact your HR department to learn about their matching programs.

RESTRICTED GIFTS

These contributions are restricted by the donor for a specific purpose at the school.

GIFTS OF SECURITIES

Gifts of stock or securities offer double the savings. Donors avoid capital gains taxes on the increased value of the stocks, while also receiving a tax deduction on the full market value of the stock.

PLANNED GIVING

Remember The Pegasus School as part of your estate planning. You’ll be leaving a legacy and receive immediate or deferred tax benefits by naming The Pegasus School in your will.

CORPORATE AND FOUNDATION GIVING

Grants from foundations and corporate entities can be a huge boon to our school. Please let us know if you have contacts with philanthropic organizations.
