In nearly 70 categories, ranging from the best pizza (Vito’s Ristorante and Pizzeria) to best community/town (Southern Pines), our readers told us which restaurants, businesses and services are the best Moore County has to offer. The response was tremendous. Hundreds of ballots flooded into The Pilot’s office in response to the Readers’ Choice Best of Moore County 2010 contest, which was open to all readers of the newspaper and its website, thepilot.com. Voted the home of the county’s best cup of coffee, Starbucks offers an extensive and sometimes exotic selection of coffees. Of course, for the purists, one can always enjoy a basic cup, black.
