Letter from Ltg Salutations, Penguins! Who’s ready for District Convention? DCON is right around the corner, and I hope you are all registered. Can’t wait to see you there! I can’t believe the term is ending in just a few weeks, and that the incredible Sriya Pillutla will be taking over soon. It’s been an unforgettable year, and I am so grateful to have spent it with you all.

Waddling in Service,

MADELINE CLARA CHENG

Letter from Dne Hello Key-ute Penguins! Hello everyone! Hope y'all are doing well! Similar to my last letter, I just wanted to thank Maddie for everything she's done for me and everyone else in our division. Everything that we accomplished this year would not be possible with all of your hard work and constant support. I'm so excited to see everything you accomplish in the future :) All of this said, I am extremely excited to work with the new LTG, Sriya, moving forward! Congrats on your election ! As always, feel free to reach out to me at any time through email, Instagram, or Messenger:)

Waddling in Service,

ADITHRI SHARMA

OUR CLUBS CUPERTINO This month, we got things rolling with the start to the new year by holding two member meetings. During our first meeting, we had recaps of past events, announced new service projects, and promoted the division mini merch fundraiser. During our second member meeting, we had the same announcements as the first meeting, but this time, we also had a family competition playing a fun trivia game!

FREMONT

---

GUNN We are planning our annual service day with YCS. Key Club is in charge of the on-campus events, so we have been brainstorming with members and officers to find activities that would be meaningful and fun for students to do.

11

HOMESTEAD Last month, Homestead sent out email updates and social media reminders to members in order to introduce our new service opportunities. We had events such as Transcription for the Smithsonian Institution and Cardz For Kidz. Additionally, some of our members, officers, and advisors were able to attend the D34 Conclave and January DCM that took place near the end of January!

LOS ALTOS

---

LYNBROOK This month, we provided different volunteer opportunities to our members, where we collected canned items, books, and more to donate. We also introduced a Panda Express fundraiser happening in March.

MENLO-ATHERTON We have been working on member appreciation. At our last meeting, we handed out certificates and pins to new members and we were so lucky to have so many new penguins officially join us for the year!

12

MONTA VISTA -----

MOUNTAIN VIEW This month, Mountain View participated in Spring Club Rush, and we will be playing a Kahoot and offering donuts at our next meeting to welcome new members/celebrate Valentine's Day. We are currently planning out the ice skating February DCM and working on officer workshops to promote officer positions for elections in March. Additionally, we are continuing to offer ongoing service events while advertising specific days where officers will be volunteering so that members can sign up for the same shifts as officers (at Second Harvest/with Our City Forest).

PALO ALTO

This month, we are planning a service event where we will be making math kits for young students. We are also preparing for officer elections and wrapping up our term.
