Letter from Ltg Salutations, Penguins! I am incredibly honored to serve as your Lieutenant Governor for the 2022-2023 term! I’m proud of everything our division has accomplished already and cannot wait to see what the future has in store for us. As new officers are installed and summer approaches, I am ready to take the division to new heights. Are you excited about our upcoming events? We have our very first DCM coming up soon with some fun bonding activities. Keep a lookout for our May Banquet, a spectacular event where we celebrate our accomplishments and outstanding members. As always, please feel free to reach out to me if you ever need anything! I’m always available via email, text, Instagram DM, Facebook Messenger, and Zoom. Also, please remember to thank our Immediate Past (IP) LTG Madeline Cheng for all her amazing work last term! She did a phenomenal job and I have full confidence that she has an incredible future ahead of her.

Waddling in Service,

SRIYA PILLUTLA

OUR CLUBS CUPERTINO

This month, we held three member meetings. During our meetings, we had our usual event recaps, and announced new service projects. Additionally, in our meetings, we advertised the March DCM, announced our Member of the Month, gave our members more information about Clubs Food Day, announced our 2022-2023 officer board, and played an online game called Blooket. We promoted multiple opportunities for service, such as our schools Goodwill Fundraiser, the March DCM, and Holi festival. We are currently working on transitioning to the new board and beginning to wrap up the term!

GUNN

Gunn KEY Club got to take-over the local Palo Alto Kiwanis Club meeting on April 7th! We presented about what our club has accomplished this year and got to meet the wonderful Kiwanians that serve our community and help sponsor our club.

HOMESTEAD

Our fundraising committee organized and held a restaurant fundraiser at Rubio's Coastal Grill at the end of March, which generated over $180 in net sales! We continued to hold lunchtime service events such as BeanBeanBean and Cards for Soldiers, which attracted around 20 members in total. We are hoping to collaborate with more clubs on campus and will soon be releasing officer applications for next term.
