Letter from Ltg Salutations, Penguins! Can you believe summer break is almost over? Good luck to all the incoming seniors who will soon be knee-deep in college applications. Please be sure to take moments to breathe and remember that college isn’t everything😀. As for Key Club, thank you all for coming to the July DCM! I hope you enjoyed attending it as much as I did planning it. I’m no playwright or novelist, but the story, script, and scenes sure were fun to create from scratch. Can’t wait to see you guys at the next DCM…we’re shooting for our first in-person DCM since February 2020!

Letter from Dne Hello Key-ute Penguins! Hello again everyone! Hope ya'll are enjoying your summer break so far and not stressing yourself out too much from summer classes. This was such a fun newsletter to write because I decided that I would switch up the design a little bit more than usual to have it represent more of me and my favorite styling techniques. I hope you all enjoy this new format!! Can't believe that we're starting to go back into inperson events now, I'm really excited to be able to meet some of you in person for the first time! As always, feel free to reach out to me at any time through email, Instagram, or Messenger:)

Waddling in Service,

ADITHRI SHARMA

OUR CLUBS CUPERTINO This month, there was not much new as we headed into the summer break. We continued to be busy with summer work. We have been in communication with a variety of organizations about volunteer opportunities over the summer that our members can participate in, and for those who attended the Key Club Training Conference, we all enjoyed it. As we continue into the summer, we are hoping to attend more fun events in the near future!

FREMONT We didn't do too much this month, we are currently in the process of collecting all our members dog toys and other items to donate. We are also maintaining good relations with our Kiwanis advisor.

GUNN This month we continued communicating with out club members via text and instagram and promoted the DCM as well as other virtual service events.

HOMESTEAD In the past month, Homestead has mainly been involved in division and region events such as Key Club Training Conference and the June Division-Wide Service Event. At KCTC, officers were able to learn more about their duties while bonding with other Key Clubbers across Region 17! Overall, the team has been focusing on planning for the new school year and promoting any upcoming events.

LOS ALTOS ---

LYNBROOK This month, Lynbrook has been searching for more service projects for our members to participate in. We also continued training our new officers, and we're getting ready for the beginning of the school year.

MENLO-ATHERTON -----

MONTA VISTA -----

MOUNTAIN VIEW Mountain View continued to promote division/region events and fundraisers, such as the West Valley CAA Painting Project, the My Region To-Taro boba fundraiser, and KCTC. The officers began discussing plans for the next school year.

PALO ALTO This past month, we have introduced our new board to social media. We have strengthened our social media presence by posting more on Instagram. We have also been planning a fun bonding event for the board members before the new school year starts!
