loha Penguins! t’s crazy that we’re already in September and that we’re already halfway done with 2017! I hope you guys are just as excited as I am for Region Training Conference and Fall Rally North! In addition, I hope school has been treating you nicely so far. Doing your best is essential but don’t forget to take care of yourself! If there was one thing I would tell you, it’s to DRINK WATER! Please keep yourselves hydrated for the upcoming months!

ey Penguins, how has the beginning of school been? Hopefully you’ve been able to find nice teachers and haven’t been too overworked yet. Because it’s the start of the year, and the workload shouldn’t be too much yet, you guys should participate

in as many events as possible to reach our divison goals! In addition to event participation, make sure to purchase some key club gear and also to pay your dues! I know that we can get closer to our division goals this year than last.

lthough summer has officially ended, your club rushes should be starting soon and I can’t wait to see what you all do! An important thing to remember is to personally approach your potential members. Even having a decent conversation with them can make a difference. This applies to your Kiwanis club/advisors too.
S
o many things are already happening--Region Training Conference, Fall Rally North, and even Spirit Gear (which is already out)! I look forward to seeing you all at some of these events! That’s all for now, let me know if you have questions or comments~

Division Wide Events Recap Full Circle Farm

ey Clubbers made a tremendous difference to Full Circle Farm’s garden by cleaning out the weeds. Huge shoutout to Monta Vista Key Club for hosting this!

Club Spotlight/Recaps Ice Cream Social
K
ey Clubbers helped out at the local Ice Cream social and helped face paint and playing with kids. A local band played, and the entire neighborhood came out and gathered on a sunny Sunday afternoon!

couple of our girls (who are also officers for the 2017-2018 term) made it on the July Newsletter! They helped man the rest station with Patricia Held and Barbara Hourigan.

Penguin Popsicle Points Through the Penguin Popsicle Points system, clubs and members will have the opportunity to get the recognition they deserve throughout the term and this will determine end of the year prizes/awards.
