Letter from Ltg Salutations, Penguins! I hope you all had a fantastic time at our August DCM, which was our first in-person event since February 2020. Wow. Can’t wait to see you penguins at the next one! Just a reminder to keep providing service opportunities and events to your club members, 2-3 minimum per month is a recommendation. Don’t forget that in-person events are an option now, they are much easier to pull off than virtual! I can absolutely help you if you don’t know how to find these, but for starters, I highly recommend volunteermatch.org.

MADELINE CLARA CHENG

Letter from Dne Hello Key-ute Penguins! Hi everyone! Hope you are doing well with the new school year starting back in person! Hope you're all having a great time meeting up with your friends and teachers for the first time in a year and a half! I'm definitely looking forward to finally going back to normal and going to an in-person Key Club event for the first time, as I'm sure many of you are looking forward to as well! Continue to participate in all the fun events we have planned for y'all and make sure not to stress yourself out too much. As always, feel free to reach out to me at any time through email, Instagram, or Messenger:)

OUR CLUBS CUPERTINO This month, we communicated with more organizations about additional volunteer opportunities our members could participate in over the summer. We also constantly promoted our own club events as well as the division events on our social media platforms. For those who attended the July DCM, we all had a blast! As the summer continued, we all became busy with planning and preparing for the Clubs’ Faire at our school.

FREMONT

Early this month we had our Freshman Orientation which was a great opportunity for us to recruit new members. besides that we have been planning for our Club rush and other events we will have this school year.

GUNN This month was pretty lowkey for us. We did some light communication with our officers regarding regional training and a survey that was sent out to the co-presidents for officers to complete and started gearing up for the upcoming year. We will start member meetings when school starts.

HOMESTEAD Last month, our club has been in contact with the school in order to plan for the upcoming year and all of its club events. We advertised the July Murder Mystery DCM and some officers, members, and advisors were able to attend! Overall, our team is planning for the new year and working on member recruitment.

LOS ALTOS ---

LYNBROOK We haven't been too active since it's summer. We've mostly just been promoting division wide events on our social media and preparing promotion, activities, etc for the upcoming school year.

MENLO-ATHERTON -----

MONTA VISTA -----

MOUNTAIN VIEW This past month, Mountain View has worked on preparing for the next school year while continuing to promote division events. The officers were able to have an in-person meeting to plan future events.

PALO ALTO This month, we are working on using social media platforms to market our club to income freshman. we are also reaching out to other clubs and organizations to collaborate on service projects.
