Hello hello Penguins!
Happy October!! I hope you all are doing well as we have fully settled into school. I also hope your first club general meetings went well and that all the new members are HYPED for the rest of this term!
Are you guys ready for all the Key Club events this month!? Region Training Conference (RTC) is coming up VERY SOON! This is my first in person RTC, so I cannot wait to see you all there! Later this month is also FALL RALLY NORTH (FRN) on 10/22! You can find more information about this event on page 11 and in your email. Be sure to ask your club presidents or a DLT member if you have any questions or want to learn more. I am so sad I have never been to FRN, so I HIGHLY encourage you ALL TO GO! To anyone considering going BEE sure to take this KEY opportunity to support the Pediatric Trauma Program (PTP), meet new friends, and show your D34S purple penguin spirit!
I hope you all copped some KEY ute D34S merch or are planning to attend our upcoming spirit preps! That way, you can be decked out in purple penguin gear just like Ellie (D34S Tech Editor) and I in this photo :D If you are going to FRN, be sure to attend at least one of the spirit preps, so you are ready for the cheers at FRN! More information can be found in your emails :)
Check out the rest of this newsletter to learn more about FRN, our preferred charities, meet a few of our D34S officers, and much more! This is an exciting newsletter for me because if you are reading this the day that it is published today is my birthday 10/1!! Therefore I hope you all enjoy the rest of this SWEET newsletter <3

aloha Penguins! LTG'S LETTERl t g ' s l e t t e r
I hope you are all having an amazing day!
Thank you to everyone who attended our September DCM! We had an amazing time making tote bags and learning spirit cheers. Congratulations to our Penguins of the Month, keep up the great work. See you all at the October DCM!
Fall Rally North is almost here! Fall Rally North is a District Level event where you get to meet Key Clubbers from ALL of Northern CA and Nevada! It will be hosted on October 22nd at Six Flags Discovery Kingdom in Vallejo, CA. Make sure to get your tickets a DISCOUNTED PRICE as part of Key Club Registration and transportation information has been sent to your emails. Please reach out to your presidents if you have any questions!
We have had one spirit session for Fally Rally North so far and our second one is coming up soon! The second spirit prep will be on October 2nd, combined with Division 34 North (our sister division!), so I highly recommend that you guys attend if you can. We’ll be learning various spirit cheers and making spirit gear. There will also be a third spirit prep the weekend before FRN, so stay tuned for that :) Be sure to save the date for our FRN Preps and get HYPED. These events are where you will make some of the most significant Key Club memories that will last a lifetime!
If you registered for RTC, the date is closer than you think… get ready for a weekend filled with meeting new people, learning from amazing presenters, and making memories of a lifetime! Be sure to complete any necessary paperwork before the weekend and communicate with your advisors. See you at Camp Half Blood, Penguins!

EVENTS EVENTS september
"The Notebook Decorating event was our first service event of the year! It was really successful, and we had more than 30 members attend the event. During the event, members decorated plain composition notebooks using washi tapes, stickers, pens, etc. The notebooks were then given to teachers, who could hand them out to students that need supplies!"

Key Clubbers all over the CNH District gather at Six Flags Discovery Kingdom. At FRN LTGs, Executive officers are "auctioned" off to Divisions; the winning Division can then spend a designated period with the "purchased" officer. Auction funds and a portion of the ticket sales for both events go towards the Pediatric Trauma Program. Join us to experience motivational programs, Division Spirit Rally, meet new people, support the Pediatric Trauma Program, show your Key Club spirit, and have fun!
