Letter from Ltg Salutations, Penguins! Did you have a blast at FRN? I sure did! I loved hearing and seeing all of your purple penguin pride and spirit. Be sure to continue collecting dues, everyone! And don’t forget to check out our November DCM hosted by Fremont Key Club, where we make blankets for premature babies. It’s one of my favorites, and I would highly recommend attending.

Waddling in Service,

MADELINE CLARA CHENG

LYNBROOK LETTERS OF LOVE For our Letters of Love event, we had members write virtual letters (with a 100 word minimum. After writing them, they decorated them on Canva and sent them to their friends. This was a really simple and easy service project to end off the year with some love and appreciation. <3

OUR CLUBS CUPERTINO

This month, we participated in our school’s Clubs Day where we advertised Key Club to all the students. On top of that, we held our first member meeting where we had around 60 attendees and informed prospective members what Key Club is all about. Our second meeting was at the end of the month, and there, we talked about registration for FRN! We also promoted a few service projects including the Fall 2021 Cupertino Bike Fest, and the DCM.

FREMONT

---

GUNN We have had two meetings so far and have introduced different opportunities to our members. We plan on having a Snacks and Service this Friday!

HOMESTEAD

Homestead held its first general meeting of the 2021-22 term at the start of September, and attendance was great! We introduced dues payment, division events, spirit gear, as well our first club-organized service opportunity, the Harvest History Festival. At this festival, Homestead and Mountain View Key Club worked together to host a puppet show, concession booth, raffle station, and arts and crafts booth for the day's attendees at Heritage Park in Mountain View. In addition to service events, Homestead also fundraised at the Cupertino Night Market on 9/25, raising over $100 through our carnival game. We are planning for our October club meeting and encouraging members and officers to continue volunteering at future events!

LOS ALTOS

---

LYNBROOK Our club introduced dues this past month as well as held a variety of service projects. Some of them include Amazon Smile, Color-asmile, and writing letters to the elderly and hospitalized children.

MONTA VISTA -----

MOUNTAIN VIEW

Mountain View has volunteered at multiple service events in the past month such as the 3rd annual Harvest History Festival, during which we were also able to raise money for our club. We have continued with our weekly member meetings, and we are promoting upcoming volunteer events such as the Mountain View Turkey Trot.
