LTG'S LETTER

hello hello penguins!

Happy early Valentine’s Day! I hope you are having an amazing week :)

I hope you all enjoyed our January DCM! We had a wonderful time at Holiday-a-thon and had updates for the next few months. Congrats to our Penguins of the Month! Our next DCM will be hosted by Mountain View Key Club; stay tuned for more information

Thank you to those of you who attended our annual D34 Holiday-a-thon! We had an amazing time completing service projects, listening to workshops, and having bonding activities such as Family Feud! Be sure to attend next year if you missed out :)

For those of you who missed the DCM, Conclave has been POSTPONED to March due to some unforeseen circumstances. We will still be hosting Conclave with Division 34 North, our sister division I highly recommend that officers AND members attend this event, as it is a great opportunity to get involved in the division and learn more about our elections. Each school MUST send 2 delegates in order for our election to be accurate. More information will be sent out soon!

DCON 2023 is now open for registration! Go check out the CNH website ASAP for instructions and deadlines for registration. I will also be sending out an email with instructions soon, but you can easily find information on your own!

Have a fantastic February, penguins!

Homestead Key Club |Poster Making & Stapling

-Lucia

In preparation for the December DCM, Homestead Key Club hosted several events this month to prepare. Previously, officers had always done most of the prep work, but this year, members were also involved in the prep work! They helped create posters, and stapled them to the paper bags that would later be passed out in the neighborhood. This was not only beneficial to the officers, who would not have to do as much work, but also helped to instill more interest and involvement in the Caroling for Cans DCM!

Shopping Event

Mountain View Key Club went to a local Target and bought items to support a family in our community.

MV Cares is a program at Mountain View High School that gathers lists of necessary items from families in need in the community. It then matches those families up with different organizations and groups at the school, such as Mountain View Key Club, that purchase the items, wrap them, and give them to the family.
