PG. 9 QUARANTINE TIPS

Letter from DNE Aloha Purple Penguins! Thank you for reading on this month's newsletter! Amidst the uncertainty of the COVID-19 pandemic, I hope you all are staying safe and healthy! As a senior, I'm sad that I won't be able to have a traditional way to say goodbye to high school friends and those who I've met over these past 3.5 years, but I'm happy that I was able to be part of such a great organization for a majority of that time! Key Club has been a big part of my high school career, and I'd like to advise you to take initiative. Even if it's as simple as volunteering to do the task that none of the other officers wanted to to, it will start a trend of growth and optimism. I'm so glad that I was able to have fun, serve my community, and see others grow as leaders this year. I can't wait to see what you all will accomplish this term with Cheryl as your LTG!

Waddling in Service, Annabelle Law

Cheryl Bai WELCOME

2020-21 LIEUTENANT GOVERNOR HELLO HELLO PURPLE PENGUINS! Welcome to the first issue of the Pingu Post of the 2020-21 term! My name is Cheryl Bai, and I am ecstatic to serve as YOUR new lieutenant governor! A little bit about me: I am a junior at Monta Vista, and I have been in Key Club in all my years of high school. I previously served as publicity chair of Monta Vista Key Club in my sophomore year and co-vice president as well as an executive assistant for our division last term. Some fun facts about me are that I have a huge obsession with Kermit the Frog, have competed in track and field for the last 5 years, and my favorite subject is (sadly) calculus.

THANK YOU FOR showing up to our first DCM of the term last month, where we played Kahoot and announced the division leadership team! I hope to see you all at our next DCM this month! Please do not hesitate to contact me if you ever have any questions or concerns! You can always message me too if you want to make a new friend to share memes with!
