Timmie Mitchell was born in Monrovia, Liberia, and is the mother of two girls, ages 19 and 22 She is the proud owner of Scrubs Unlimited & Apparel with partners Danielle Griffin and Dawan Feely, Liberian Lady Investments, LLC, and Mitchell Notary Signing Services, LLC In addition, she is also part owner of Queenz Investments, LLC, with partners Shenekia McClinton & Desiree Cook, Real Estate Investor with Guaranteed Homes LLC

What inspired your start in entrepreneurship?

I wanted to show my girls that they can be their own bosses. They can be leaders and not followers. I feel that there is no better feeling than working for yourself I love empowering women

Opening our first brick-and-mortar store

If you could tribute your success to any in your life, who would it be?

God and my willpower People often underestimate me, but I have proven that the sky is the limit I can do anything with God, who strengthens me each day I set goals, and even if they are hard goals, I keep pushing

What message do you hope women take away from your platform?

Believe in yourself Do not let anyone tell you that you can not do something Set a goal and go after it Start any type of small business and just go for it Get a good support team or person that lifts you up and will grind with/for you Support is so important

When you have a dream, you have to grab it and never let go Nothing is impossible

What does being a woman making herstory mean to you?

It means everything I am going to make herstory I will be one of the best African-born multipreneur females in my state If I help one person on my journey to greatness, I will be fulfilled
