PWH ENTREPRENEUR SPOTLIGHT
Outside of entrepreneurship, who is Nicole Hill?
Outside of entrepreneurship, I am a God fearing and loving mommy, daughter, granddaughter, sister, aunt, niece, friend, and more I am loyal to those that I love and care for I am a fearless leader who marches to the beat of her own drums, unapologetically. I am a queen. I am a country girl who loves her roots. I am a Nurse Disruptor and probably the dopest nurse you’d ever want to meet. I am ME.
Tell us about your journey of entrepreneurship, What has been your the greatest lesson thus far?
My entrepreneur journey has been one for the books, full of highs and lows, wins and losses, many lessons and more
wins; however, I wouldn’t trade it for anything In April 2021, I ended my travel nursing stint, during a pandemic, and decided to take a leap from part time hustler in my business to full time entrepreneur Although it has not been easy, it is one of the greatest risks I have taken With that being said, my greatest lesson is to “Risk it all and Bet On Me.” I encourage others to bet on themselves. At the end of the day, no one is coming to do it for you or save you.
What inspired you and your daughter to go into business together?
I’ve wanted to be an entrepreneur for most of my life. I’ve always been a nurse hustler and had side gigs but never made any of them a business until the past few years. I didn’t know how and didn’t have anyone giving me advice or guiding me I decided to change the trajectory with my daughter I used to always throw ideas at her, telling her she should start a business in things like hair extensions, lashes, and even clothing boutiques She would always say “ no mommy, I’m not interested ” Then one day she came to me saying that she wanted to start a skincare line. This was music to my ears. We began to brainstorm a name and Aramha Skin was born. Aramha is actually my daughter’s name spelled backwards (AhMara).
What does a day in the life of a mother/daughter work duo look like?
A day in my life was crazy at first, lol. We didn’t agree on much initially. I had a lot of ideas; however, I didn’t want to overshadow them because this was more so her baby. On the other end, it was her senior year in high school, so I offered to take the wheel I wanted her to enjoy her year, keep her grades up and learn the business

HAPPY THANKSGIVING
SHENEE’ SHARES: SHENEE’ SHARES: THE JOURNEY OF 2 DIAGNOSIS AND MORE
I was truly excited. I just finished hosting a screening for the movie, Just Mercy, starring Michael B Jordan, Jamie Foxx, and Brie, and preparing to host another Inspirational moving I was finally bold enough to put myself on the cover of my own publication, “His Favor Magazine ” My team was finally forming and I just knew things we finally headed to a new level in the media world
Then, movie theaters and restaurants and the rest of the world were shut down. Although I still could produce the magazines, I felt a shift within me happen along with the shift that came with dealing with the new norms of the pandemic At that moment, I realized my current eyeglasses were not enough to allow me to see clearly anymore I made an appointment with the ophthalmologist because I knew I needed an updated prescription
It was this visit that changed my life. After a series of tests, referred to a neurologist and my gynecologist, I was relieved that the diagnosis was not multiple sclerosis as it was originally thought However, I then got a phone call stating that I had a rare brain disorder called idiopathic intracranial hypertension (also known as Pseudo Tumor) A few days later, a call came through stating that I had Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome So, here I sit, diagnosed with 2 chronic illnesses This was NOT on the list of goals and dreams.
As a new contributing writer for Pretty Women Hustle, I see this as a huge opportunity to not take it lightly. Yes, I have had my own publication, and I put it aside to focus on other things, but the writer hat I wear will always be a part of me I also use this hat to share my journey thus far with you
Not for sympathy or just to bring awareness to the 2 illnesses, but so that “Pretty Woman” who feels like giving up can see someone like me still pushing in spite of
I look forward to engaging with you on this wonderful platform My new motto is “Sharing my life’s journey in order to guide others to their utmost God given potential ” That is the whole idea behind my new business, “Shenee’ Shares LLC.” Too many people are unwilling to showcase the other side of business/ministry When others only see success, they get a false narrative and start to doubt themselves when they embark on their own journeys. Eventually, they give up, put that dream on the back burner, and never see it come to full fruition
I was that person! I let things go! I threw in the towel! I am now determined to NEVER give up again. I want to see others prosper! If they can learn from me sharing my ups AND downs, then I am ready!
THE MONTH OF SCORPIOS
N
Quote: “Out in the garden where the air is sweet with the breath of roses, with sighs of jasmine and of lily, a lovely daughter of the louse, under the shielding murmur of the limes, caught in a starry Nocturne, whispers to some sad youth the tender sorrows of the summer night.”
Overview: Scorpios carry an “I don’t need anyone” demeanor This is based on insecurities they hold within themselves Their reservation to themselves is required for the love that they are capable of giving. Once they open up, they are great lovers. Their independence is celebrated, and others notice. They attract a lot of eyes and ears to everything they do and say.
Personal Love: Scorpios have spent a lot of days alone. This has made them into the strong, confident people they are. Because of the past, they have certain requirements for people to come into their life. It may seem selfish, but they love looking into the mirror and being around like minded individuals. This is a time like no other, where building bonds with others who are on the same page is what Scorpios crave
Personal Money: When it comes to Scorpios’ job search, they find it hard to pick between the corporate world and starting their own business Working for a big company requires being a team player Starting a business will require mingling with others outside the norm. It’s a game of “tug of war.”
Characteristics: ● Personal Creed Creativity ● Element Water ● Energy Fixed ● Psychological type- Intense Feelings Positive Traits: ● Deeply Emotional ● Lusty ● Hypnotic ● Reserved ● Protective Negative Traits: ● Scary ● Grudge Holders ● Jealous ● Demanding ● Obsessive

What inspired your start in Coaching, specifically image consulting and life coaching?
I’ve always been a cheerleader, naturally gifted in encouraging and motivating others. Image consulting and executive life coaching combine my interests in personal branding, fashion, and empowerment. One of my top values is being impactful and in service to others. It is my goal to elevate and educate women to realize their true potential and become better versions of themselves. The way we show up in the world and communicate influences the image we project along with the first impression we make Too often, there is a disconnect between who we are on the inside versus who we are on the outside. The two are not in alignment. That’s where I come in, to help women leverage their strengths, confidence, and style to achieve professional and personal success Maya Angelou’s quote resonates with me “My mission in life is not merely to survive, but to thrive; and to do so with some passion, some compassion, some humor, and some style.”
Vincit Qui Se
Vincit - She Conquers Who Conquers Herself
How did your time in the Army influence the way you approach your everyday walk in entrepreneurship?
That’s a great question! Serving in the Army showed me how resilient I am and how to think critically to solve problems Being resilient has given me the ability to bounce back from setbacks or challenges, which is a valuable life and business skill Resiliency and problem solving help me pivot when I need to. As a new entrepreneur, I‘m learning to successfully navigate the unknown, which can be a little scary, but not impossible I believe what separates entrepreneurs who thrive in stressful times from entrepreneurs who break down when faced with adversity is the ability to be resilient
What has been your greatest lesson thus far?
As a new entrepreneur, my greatest lesson thus far is that my mindset matters Implementing a growth mindset has helped me reframe what “failure” looks like I created an acronym for failure to remind myself to view “failure” through a strengths based lens and as an opportunity for growth versus a deficit lens of gloom and doom Only I can define what success looks like for me
F finding A awareness and I innovation L leveraging U uncertainty R realigning my E energy
Where do you hope to see your company in the next 3 5 years?
In 3 5 years I hope to have a train the trainer certification program where I can train Image Professionals to have a holistic approach to working with their clients, specifically in the area of career and professional development I also see my company having a media presence in the form of a television show and a digital magazine.

TASHA DANIELS
Tasha is a work from home businesswoman who is completely about her work and her kids! In 2019 a lot of things began to happen for her. Being fresh out of a shelter with two kids, knowing she wanted to do better, she decided to develop her own product line! This line offers completely natural products that she personally developed and used
Working three jobs, being in school, and taking care of the kiddos gave her the drive to start selling her products at the local flea market. Although she was making a good supplemental income, she knew it still wouldn’t be enough. She was able to get things going by selling products at the local flea market, but then the pandemic happened Fortunately, in 2020 Tasha buckled down in the realm of insurance and was able to work.
In 2021, she decided to move to Texas and become a loctician It has opened the doors to so many other things!
To learn more about Tasha and her brands, please visit: www.coilyproducts.com
She has separated from the jaws of corporate America to now sell life insurance independently while also making a name for herself in Houston by making waves in the loc game She owns and operates CP Beauty Studios and gives others a chance to learn how to do what she does by offering to put together an entire ebook and e course
She has jumped over every obstacle that arose to become the boss mom she was meant to be. She says that the top two things that she takes pride in when it comes to accomplishments are not only being able to take care of but also being there for her kids while also being able to teach other people how to do so as well while also giving people a reason to smile when they look in the mirror
Who is Tasha outside of entrepreneurship and motherhood? Outside of being a businesswoman and a mother, I am a very grounded individual
PWH AUTHOR SPOTLIGHT
I love my plants and reconnecting to myself through yoga, cooking, and art( even though I am no artist, lol) I am someone who loves to see others win, and if I can do something to help push someone in that direction, I will definitely do that! I am a friend who motivates others to do what they love and turn it into something they can monetize!
We know that being a mother is a huge part of your day-to-day operations How do you balance the demands of business and motherhood?
People make time for who and what they want! A schedule is EVERYTHING!!! I have to stick to a schedule One of the first things I do when I wake up is look at my schedule I know that my morning will start with getting the boys to school. I fill my day doing locs, selling insurance, or some kind of training Looking to start adding working out to that schedule, though; that is my newest personal goal
What inspired you to write your book, Marketing on a Budget?
I was inspired to write marketing on a budget because many people on my social media outlets have seen my business grow this past year, and I constantly get asked how I did it So I decided that I needed to put all of this information out there It’s not hard to do. You just have to do it! I also see other ebooks and courses, but they’re crazy expensive, and I don’t feel like someone who is actually trying to build their empire should have to fork out hundreds of dollars they probably don’t have, just to try to get ahead!
How and when to market is a challenge for a lot of entrepreneurs
What message do you hope entrepreneurs takeaway?
There is never not a good time to market yourself! I feel like people overthink it
Yes, it can be complex, but it doesn’t have to be! I literally market myself everywhere Your business should not be a secret You are literally self sabotaging your business by not even talking about it! This guide is for the small business owner, the person with a side hustle who wants to see growth but thinks that the growth is out of reach
What advice do you have for women looking to transition into the workfrom home life?
You have to have discipline! You have to be able not to give in to the many temptations. When I worked for y previous employer, I got to the point where it was no longer my passion, so I didn’t care I would literally ignore work, ignore calls and just take a nap So have discipline and a passion for whatever you are doing. Do something you love so that you remain motivated while also making sure that you still take the time to do things for yourself to disconnect from the business
You have faced several obstacles while trying to start your business. How did you overcome that?
By knowing that if I fail, I am not the only person who is affected! I also know that if I give up, nothing can get any better. The moment you stop trying is when you miss out on what you have worked for! I always say not to give up but to redirect your energy Come up with a new plan to reach your same goal. Nothing worth obtaining is going to be easy!
Tell us about CP Beauty Studios?
CP Beauty Studios kind of came about by accident! I originally started out with natural hair care products. When I got to Houston and realized my talent and passion for doing locs, my focus became building this business I suck when it comes to creating names, so I took the two initials of my hair care line, Coily Products, and just named it CP Beauty Studios, and now here we are, over 100 clients later and growing!
What do you hope women take away from their experience inside CP Beauty Studios?
I hope that anyone who comes to visit my studio takes away a genuine love for their locs! I strive to also teach people about hair care in general. I do believe that the more that you understand, the more you will love your hair! I feel like people who don’t understand hair or the beauty of our people’s natural hair generate a love hate relationship with their hair. I push to dismantle the idea of “good hair ” We all have good hair We just don’t all understand how to take care of it! So, when they leave, I hope my love, knowledge, and styles have rubbed off onto others!
What’s next for Tasha and The CP Beauty Studios brand?
A complete takeover!! I want to get into teaching people, especially mothers, a new skill and a way to market that skill in a way that they can actually do!
