Tell us a little bit about yourself? My name is Monique. I usually go by 'Mo" I moved to Charlotte to start my cleaning business. I currently work from home as an accounting agent. At the beginning of the pandemic I decided to step out on faith and start planning for my online boutique! I follow my heart, I believe in myself, I live by high standards, I treat others the way i want to be treated, I ALWAYS look for positivity in all things, I trust my intuition.
Interview with new local What inspired you to start La Dime Fashion? boutique owner; I have always had the Entrepreneurial mindset but suddenly when the odds were Monique Dewalt against me, I knew in my heart it was time, the situation said 'No' but my heart and mind said 'Yasssss" I have never regretted it. Being my own boss, staying in the customer service field, I love helping, I call the shots, creating my own lane and environment, pursuing my passion, selling how I want to sell, creating something from SCRATCH. What obstacles did you have to overcome in order to successfully launch your boutique? Brainstorm problems, as with any challenge, the first step is to realize there is a problem, that something is wrong, and then figure out why. 'Manage money', Staying Consistent and competitive. In your eyes, what does it mean to be a success entrepreneur? The first and foremost quality of a successful entrepreneur is PASSION! Self discipline, hard work, risk taking ability, strategic thinking, persistence, communicating, and networking!
