STRICTLY BUSINESS
LA’s LGBTQ+ Certification for Businesses Queer business owners rejoice! The City of Los Angeles has announced the addition of LGBTQ certification to the Los Angeles Business Assistance Virtual Network (BAVN). BAVN is a free online portal provided by the City of Los Angeles and the Mayor’s Office of Economic Development that connects businesses with City contracting opportunities. The new qualifications will allow for statistical tracking of certifications to ensure that contracts reflect the diversity of the City. “I applaud the City’s efforts to expand opportunities in public procurement for our local business community. LGBTQ certification is another step towards further leveling the playing field for small and diverse businesses,” said Los Angeles Board of Public Works President Kevin James in a press release.“BAVN is a free and accessible resource that allows us to provide these businesses with the proper tools to succeed and thrive in Los Angeles.” The National Gay and Lesbian Chamber of Commerce is the exclusive, third-party certification body that will work to verify that eligible businesses are majority-owned by LGBTQ individuals. Once this process is complete, businesses
can sign up through BAVN to be notified when contracts are available for bidding and receive guidance through the bidding process. The Bureau of Contract Administration, led by Inspector of Public Works John L. Reamer, Jr., verifies documentation and oversees contracts for the City of Los Angeles. BAVN currently offers certification for disadvantaged business owners; disabled veterans; minority-owned businesses; women-owned businesses; small, emerging, and local businesses; and more. This allows small and diverse businesses the opportunity to compete with large corporations for contracts. The new LGBTQ certification program went into effect in the first quarter of Fiscal Year 2019-20, which began on July 1. This announcement came during the annual celebration of LGBTQ Heritage Month. Additionally, the Los Angeles Board of Public Works recognized a few of the outstanding men and women from the Department of Public Works as part of the month’s festivities. “Los Angeles has been at the forefront of championing equality since 1967 when Silver Lake’s Black Cat became the site of one of the first LGBTQ demonstrations,” said Los Angeles

GAY L.A.
THE FATE OF DAMRON ADDRESS BOOK? Before AIDS, Airbnb and Grindr changed the face of gay life forever, there were limited ways of finding your people, especially if you were a lone, gay man venturing into the unfamiliar territory of the West Coast. In the 1960s, a gay man named Bob Damron starting seeing America through a different lens. Where were the places that were gay-friendly in Butte, Montana? What about in Austin, Texas? Where were the bathhouses, the sex clubs, the diners and dive bars that would welcome queer folks with open arms? Damron was a bartender who’d explored the world of San Francisco in the 1960s before settling in L.A. He’d paved the way for gay enclaves like Castro Street and Christopher Street. He helped young men and women find their people and avoid getting into dangerous situations in rough, small towns and conservative cities.
Today, his legacy lives on. In an article by journalist Kate Sosin for L.A. Magazine, Publisher Gina Gatta recalls the founder of Damron Company, a business she now owns. “Like a Bible salesman, Bob would get on the road,” Gatta tells Sosin. “He would travel around, and he would find the gays, and he would find the bars and bathhouses.” Competitor guide books developed along side of Damron’s book, but none of them survived the tumultuous period of the late ‘60s and ‘70s, when everything in American culture, from sex to movies to politics, was becoming redefined for a new audience. By the time the Internet came along, LGBTQ+ folks had their own printed travel guides and websites like Planet Out to help them find new destinations and stay safe on the road. But Gatta has been upholding Damron’s

legacy since buying the company in 1989. Damron himself died of HIV in the early nineties. Gatta has been single-handedly keeping the book going year after year. But the problem of keeping the book in print is a

problem all publishers face: how do you sell people on something they can get for free online? Today, teens can learn about their sexuality online, by asking friends or joining forums, or even reading Wikipedia. If they want to find the nearest gay bar, it’s not hard to do. Still, there’s something romantic about holding a physical guidebook in your hand. For a generation that decided long ago it would have nothing more to do with the physical elements of travel, including maps and guidebooks, there’s something touching about the idea of a book that was built over the course of years. That someone was brave enough to find every bar, every hookup spot, and every dive bar where everybody could, feasibly, someday, know your name.
The book is still being published and distributed across the country by a lone publisher.

INTERNATIONAL DRAG DAY
Crowning the Kollectin Queen with Gia Gunn After finishing her first season on RuPaul’s Drag Race, Gia Ichikawa said she found herself confused. While the show changed her life, “I was literally a hairstylist working a salon, cutting hair,” and performing drag after-hours, Ichikawa began to battle with her own gender. Was she a cis male gay man who liked playing the female drag character Gia Gunn or was Gia Gunn an expression of a real person, aching to exist? “Transitions all happen at different times, but they cannot happen until you, the individual, accepts that you are indeed transgender and that you now indeed have a task to do,” explained Ichikawa, who publicly came out as a transgender woman in March 2017. The jury is out as to whether or not the playwright, George Bernard Shaw really did say, “Life isn't about finding yourself. Life is about creating yourself,” and just as well, because, Ichikawa’s journey to self-discovery is not only an example of brave determination but also shows that perhaps life is as much about finding yourself, as it is creating yourself. Drag Race, while groundbreaking, is a show that favors cis male drag performers over drag kings, bio queens, and transgender performers. Ichikawa became the show’s third ever transgender contestant when she returned to compete in RuPaul’s Drag Race: All Stars Season 4. New York Mag named her one of The Most Powerful Drag Queens in America, in June this year, and as a proud Japanese-American transgender woman, Ichikawa’s mission
is to help inspire all people, no matter what they are facing, to embrace change. “Just because you start one career, or because you start one thing in life, doesn’t mean you have to be that for the rest of your life,” she told The Pride LA. Last month, Ichikawa launched a curated jewelry line, called Neon Vice, on the Kollectin App, an online marketplace that allows jewelry lovers to try, through augmented reality, and buy, and also sell jewelry through personalized online stores within the app, called Tiny Boutiques. Giving her bracelets and necklaces names like Transparent and Love Yourself, Ichikawa expresses what it is to be bold and honor authenticity. Neon Vice is a reminder that we shine brightest when we embrace our true selves. Ichikawa broke down in tears explaining the struggle so many transgender men and woman face. Risk of murder is high. “A lot of trans women are forced to sex work and prostitution, and that's the way they are being murdered, because companies and businesses won't just hire these people,” she said, adding that online market places, like Kollectin, provide empowering business opportunities for those in the trans community. “I think it's a great idea to help employ people that may just not have the confidence to get out there and you know, apply for a job, or maybe they have applied for jobs, and they're just being discriminated against,” she said. Embracing inclusivity at Kollectin is more than a business decision for founder Nadia Lee, it is personal. Early in her business career, Lee explained she struggled against discrimination, and the disrespect she experienced is a motivating force behind the way she chooses to run her business today. “Truthfully, respect to me is very, very important because I think building a business, especially being a woman, twenty-some years ago, I don't want to date myself, it was really hard to get respect. People would also always say, ‘you have a double minority. You're not only Asian, but you're also a woman,’” Lee said. Becoming a multiple-minority is something Ichikawa said she felt 100 percent when she transitioned. “At one point, I had male privilege, right? When I gave that up, and I changed my birth certificate and changed my sex legally, and my pronouns went from he to she, all of
Transgender icon, Gia Ichikawa performs as the Drag Queen Gia Gunn.
a sudden all those privileges went away,” she said. Ichikawa believes while all change is scary, the secret is to get comfortable with the discomfort and said you can build a tolerance to it by, “putting yourself in different social settings that may be new and may make you feel uncomfortable. If you want to make a change in your life, it's just about building up enough confidence to accept that change, embrace that change, and follow through with that.” Lee also faced a big decision that led to a significant change in her life. Having studied international relations at college, Lee was on track to work as a diplomat until she had an epiphany at a jewelry trade show in Taiwan. “I made myself a fake business card and said, 'I'm Nadia from XX company from the U.S., and I'm a buyer.' And, I snuck into the show,” she said of how she started her first jewelry company, Adia Kibur, almost 20 years ago. Both Lee and Ichikawa’s stories conjure images of brave heroines boldly striving toward their goals. However, both women know goal-stalking can be daunting, and Lee said this is why it is so important we share our stories.
“If you want change in your life, it’s just about building up enough confidence to accept that change, embrace that change, and follow through with that.”
After finishing her first season of Ru Paul’s drag race as Gia Gunn, Gia Ichikawa, said she found herself confused about her identity.

“Maybe we’re not to that point where we are confident to go out and do things. But, when we hear other people’s stories and when we listen and share our journeys as well, then you don’t feel so alone, and you don’t feel that the task is so daunting,” she said. Why erytime I see him and say doesn't he like me? Is it something hello, he either gives me the I did. Is it soemthing I said? He used cold shoulder or gives me to like me. He used to be nice to me. the look up and down. I reWhat about me does he think is not Follow Aidan on Insta/ alized that he really doesn't real? How dare he think that way. Why does It's a common tendency to get this person dislike me so much and into an obsessive thinking pattern when it comes what should I do in this situation? to issues like this, but the truth of the matter is that focusing on the problem is like picking a scab Dear Mr. Popular, that's healing. Over and over. You never heal beSo often when we encounter an issue our de- cause you are so hyper-focused on the scab that you end up picking at it before it has a chance to recover. You follow? So how do we resolve this issue? You must focus your energy on what you WANT vs the LACK of what you want and then make what you want more important than the reaction you are getting from this one person. So instead of thinking about WHY THIS PERSON DOES NOT LIKE YOU, you must now focus on what kind of people you want in your circle. Do you really want someone in your circle in which you have to adjust or mold your behavior to their liking when you are around them to win their approval? Do you want someone who appreciates who you are as you are right now, or do you want to walk on eggshells? I think you know the answer. Now that you are clear about what you want, you now have to actively look for that thing that you want! I bet you already have friends around you who like and love you very much. I am willing to bet money on it. Because if you did not have anyone who really liked you or appreciated you, the contrast of this negative reaction you are recieving would actually not be bothering you so much! So invest your time and energy into cultivating and deepening your relationships by showing those guys appreciation and don't EVER push against anything that does not want to be!! In conclusion. You are to FIGURE OUT what kind of friends and life you want to have, then go after THAT, and ignore others that don't match that and don't even try to mess with it. Pretty soon you will be surrounded only by those that appreciate and love you and that person will not even factor into your experience anymore. ARTE POR L’ARTE
ARTIST SPOTLIGHT: This is Queer Family Queer representation is every-evolving, ever-progressing.Yet, it can still be frustrating trying to identify with mainstream media. We all want to belong, to find our tribe, to be a part of a Queer Family. What does that look like? Photographer Jordan Daniels attempts to tackle this unknown in his recent photography project,This is Queer Family. The Pride LA spoke with Jordan about the journey. Check it out:
Can you introduce yourself? My name is Jordan Daniels, I am Queer and Black and Jewish and Fat. I say "And" because I want to hold space for all of my identities to exist on the same plane. I am a storyteller focusing on uplifting others to liberate themselves. In one sentence, what is the This is Queer Family project? It's a project that explores what it means to Queer, how we create family, and what we think progress looks like in our community. Where did the inspiration come from? I went to a conference a few months ago and john a. powell (stylized lower case) was speaking about creating "belonging" in his work and it really stuck with me. I've struggled a lot with experiencing belonging in my own communities; in the Black community, Jewish community, and Queer community. And I wanted to do a project that dissects the struggle a bit, and I wanted to do it in a visual way. Also, Pride Month had just started and it made me think a lot about the idea of belonging more in the Queer community, especially with the 50th anniversary of the Stonewall Riots, where so many people - particularly people of color and Trans women of color - fought for us to belong publicly in society. I also have to say that my friend Jordan Verdin, who is also credited as a co-photographer, inspired me to do this. I originally asked him to shoot it and he said that I needed to do it as a Queer person. He really demonstrated Allyship. How long have you been working on it for? From theory to praxis, a month. I circulated the idea in my head for a couple weeks, reached Photos by Jordan Daniels.
out to people at the end of that second week, scheduled the studio that third week and shot it last week as in July 3rd. It was definitely impulsive haha. How did you find folks to participate? powell says that belonging needs to be co-created, so I set out to co-create this project with some incredible Queer people that I happened to know, and it kind of took off from there. I started with my own circle of friends in Oceanside. In our small group, we're actually majority Queer so I knew I wanted them to be a part of it. From there, I thought of some really strong, vocal and vibrant Queer people that I've met throughout the years and reached out to them. Luckily, most of them were available! I knew I wanted to keep this sort of small so I didn't think of more than 12 people. It would have been harder to execute if we had more.Though, I deeply wish I was able to work with some Trans folk. Two people that I thought of were out of town so it didn't work out, but I definitely am conscious that we're missing that physical representation.Though I'm really happy that several people in the project gave verbal representation for our Trans siblings. What kind of people were you hoping to reach with this project? Everybody really. This project is for the Queer community, by the Queer community. And I say "is" because I want this work to continue beyond me. I want people to liberate themselves and share their own images, videos, stories, etc. I want everybody to talk about what Queer family and belonging looks and feels like to them. What do you hope/ to achieve/what are you achieving with this project? My initial goal was to just create something with people that gives us all the space to discuss these topics in a really beautiful, vulnerable and personal way. My fantasy is that this becomes a movement of its own. Like I said, I want people to add to it with their own thoughts and stories and continue the conversation. I want us to co-create this movement, where we make our own visibility by saying "This is Queer Family!"
Can you talk a little bit on the re-appropriation of the word “Queer” Liberation is the act of freeing someone from oppression. This can also mean ourselves. Queer, by definition, just means strange or peculiar, and peculiar can mean special, so inherently this word isn't a negative word. It's been used pejoratively for centuries unfortunately, as have many words that become oppressive, but the word only oppresses us as much as we let it. Maya Angelou said "words are things," so why can't we make them beautiful things? The word "Queer" sounds special, and it makes me feel special. So I wield this "thing" with love. On a more personal note, I've always felt weird saying I identify with the "gay community," because it feels exclusive of the entire gender and sexuality spectrum. For me, Queer encompasses all of us. It represents all of us. It makes me feel safe because we're not alone when we're all Queer. We all belong to Queer.
Can you talk a bit about how this project reflects progress in the queer community to you? I think the fact that everyone in the project can find comfort in the word "Queer," reflects a lot of progress. Many people I know use the word Queer, which means that we're deconstructing sub-communities for the advancement of the Queer community. Additionally, I dare to say this series reflects an actual picture of Queer people in society. A lot of media gives us only one sub-community, or one ethnicity, gender, etc., at a time, but I argue that this series acutely encompasses the broadness of the Queer community, and this is only with 10 people. That's progress in of itself. rected by women, people of color and trans filmmakers. Our communities have long been advocating for this inclusion. A remarkable filmmaker like Nisha Ganatra, our Achievement Award recipient, should have so many more features to her credit, in the two decades that have elapsed between her award-winning first film and her current box-office smash Late Night. Outfest Los Angeles continues to shine a spotlight on those stories we must see and those creatives whose voices we need to hear,” remarked Outfest Executive Director Christopher Racster. The festival will feature 28 world premieres across features, short films and special events, including Rodrigo Bellott’s Tu Me Manques, inspired by his smash-hit play from Bolivia; Elegance Bratton’s documentary Pier Kids, which follows the queer and trans POC youth who gather at New York City’s Christopher Street pier, in the tradition of Paris Is Burning and “Pose”; Megan Rossman’s The Archivettes, a profile of New York’s Lesbian Herstory Archives; and Molly Hewitt’s rollicking Holy Trinity, a John Waters–style absurdist comedy featuring the cream of Chicago’s queer artist community. International and North American premieres include Graham Kolbeins’ Queer Japan, a doc profiling the myriad personalities across that country’s LGBTQ community; Kai Kreuser’s Label Me, about the power struggle in a relationship between a Syrian refugee and a German man; and Australian filmmaker Samuel Van Grinsven’s Sequin in a Blue Room, about a teenager on a dangerous quest to find the stranger with whom he had a memorable encounter. Outfest Los Angeles will feature a number of exciting festival favorites with talent expected to attend, including Martha Stephens’ Sundance hit To the Stars, featuring Malin Åkerman, Tony Hale, and Adelaide Clemens; SXSW award-winners Saint Frances and The Garden Left Behind; Teddy Award winners at the Berlinale Brief Story from the Green Planet and A Dog Barking at the Moon; feminist vampire thriller Bit, starring Nicole Maines of “Supergirl”; and romantic comedy Sell By, starring Scott Evans, Kate Walsh, Augustus Prew and Patricia Clarkson. Previously announced Centerpiece screen-
ings include Sundance favorites Adam, directed by Rhys Ernst, and Hari Sama’s This is Not Berlin, as well as the doc Changing the Game, and the hilarious rom-com Straight Up, written, directed by and starring James Sweeney, and co-starring Katie Findlay, Tracie Thoms (Rent), Randall Park (Always Be My Maybe) and Betsy Brandt (“Breaking Bad”). Outfest Los Angeles’ Platinum program will showcase films from the bold innovators of LGBTQ experimental cinema and will world premiere multi-media artist Trulee Hall’s Lezzies’ Mime Mènage, and the Anjelica Huston narrated documentary, Steven Arnold: Heavenly Bodies, about the spectacularly surreal world of Salvador Dali’s protégé, Steven Arnold, and his creative and influential body of work. Audiences will celebrate these cutting-edge creators’ work at the hotly-anticipated Alchemy Party, with live musical performances headlined by former M.I.A. drummer, electronic music artist, and activist Madame Gandhi and pop music songwriting sensation turned queer electro artist, Jesse Saint John. The 2019 Outfest Los Angeles LGBTQ Film Festival will also return to the Ford Theatre for its Outfest Under the Stars screenings, featuring hot festival titles and live performances. These screenings will kick off on Wednesday, July 24, with the documentary Trixie Mattel: Moving Parts, preceded by a live performance by “RuPaul’s Drag Race” favorite Trixie Mattel; Thursday the 25th at the Ford will present comedian and legendary LGBTQ ally Kathy Griffin introduce her concert film Kathy Griffin: A Hell of a Story with a pre-show conversation; Friday the 26th brings Tribeca Film Festival audience award winner Gay Chorus Deep South, about the tour by the San Francisco Gay Men’s Chorus through Southern red states to bring a message of love, inclusion, and acceptance to areas affected by anti-LGBTQ legislation; and the final Ford night on Saturday, July 26, will feature a screening of Showtime’s documentary Sid & Judy, about Judy Garland’s career as seen through the eyes of her third husband, Sid Luft. “We are extremely proud to present this vibrant, adventurous, and entertaining lineup that reflects the rich diversity of perspective within
our global LGBTQ community, and the level of artistry on display from our filmmakers is cause for celebration. However, while we celebrate, we also approach this year's festival cognizant of the fact that our community's rights -- from our trans family to LGBTQ refugees, undocumented immigrants and beyond -- remain under attack from those in power, and we have absolutely acknowledged our responsibility to share their stories with our audience,” commented Outfest Director of Festival Programs Mike Dougherty. Lastly, Outfest Forward, the organization’s year-round program committed to educating and mentoring creatives, shares highlights from the Outfest Screenwriting Lab, including a live reading from a scene from each of the five selected scripts, and OutSet: The Young Filmmakers Project from Los Angeles LGBT Center and Outfest, premiering five new shorts. Now in its seventh year, the OutSet program empowers youth ages 16-24 to share their stories though film. The 2019 Outfest Los Angeles LGBTQ Film Festival will move its festival hub to the historic TCL Chinese Theater and its Platinum series to The Museum of Contemporary Art. The festival continues its commitment to venues around the city with screenings at the John Anson Ford Theater, Laemmle Music Hall, Harmony Gold Theatre, Plaza de la Raza, the Academy’s Samuel Goldwyn Theater, and American Film Institute. The Opening Night Gala Circus of Books kicks off the festival at the Orpheum Theatre, and the Closing Night Gala Before You Know It will screen at The Theatre at Ace Hotel. They’re Already Making a Pete Buttigieg Doc

Buttigieg announces his Presidential bid in April.
FILM REVIEW: “Book Smart” BEHIND THE SCREEN By Kathryn Whitney Boole "Booksmart" is Gen Z’s American Pie. The now classic American Pie was just as groundbreaking in style when it premiered in 1999, and two of "Booksmart"’s producers, Craig Perry and Warren Zide, also produced American Pie. For her first project as a director, actress Olivia Wilde has created a film with an upbeat, head-spinning and unique style that keeps a consistent rhythm beginning to end. And, the style suits the subject - the days before and after high school graduation. The images may be almost ephemeral as are our complex and emotion-laden memories of milestones like graduation day. Due to Wilde’s masterful direction, the rich and colorful characters jump off the screen loud and clear, just like the visual recollections you may have from this particular time in your life. I was not surprised to learn that Wilde has directed several music videos. "Booksmart" has the style of an extended music video, with an effusive energy that lifts up the story and carries it from beginning to end. If you graduated from high school in this country, think about your grad night, or another time in your life as a high school student, where the circumstances of your existence changed drastically within a short time. Memorable characters,
many over the top, abound in this film. The two leads, Kaitlyn Dever (Justified, Last Man Standing) as Amy and Beanie Feldstein (Lady Bird) as “Molly,” are very well cast. You will probably recognize their characters distinctly from your own past. The movie is a real and honest experience. Amy’s parents, played by Lisa Kudrow and Will Forte, are hilariously out of touch with the teens’ sensibilities. Miss Fine (Jessica Williams) and Principal Brown (Jason Sudeikis) try ridiculously hard to be part of the kids’ stratosphere, yet remain in the upper reaches. Cuba Gooding’s son, Mason Gooding, plays high school heartthrob Nick. Stoner Gigi, who drops into crucial scenes unexpectedly and yet is always on the perimeter of the action, always dancing to her own drummer, is everywhere – we all knew someone like that growing up…she’s played by Billie Lourd, Carrie Fisher’s daughter. This is about all the kids who were outside the elite ranks of the socially “popular” kids, yet who were actually the most colorful and unique characters in school. The writers did a fantastic job telling this story, as much as it is a universal tale populated with genuine seekers of meaning, clowns and fools, with unexpected twists, and is, as Shakespeare’s Macbeth says,“a tale told by an idiot, full of sound and fury, signifying nothing.” The script had been in development since 2009 and went through several rewrites and iterations, to become this current version that so well exemplifies today’s current high school experience.
It seems not so long ago that the only Pete we gays were concerned with was Pete Davidson. But ever since Pete Buttigieg, the openly-gay Mayor of South Bend, Indiana, announced his Presidential bid in April, politics have seemed almost interesting. With someone to really, finally root for in the race – someone who isn’t cagey or coy talking about issues like trans rights and gender equality – it feels like the tide is turning in a major way. Even if, you know, it’s not. Buttigieg just released a memoir in February, but he’s not done telling his story. Academy Award-winning producer Dan Cogan has signed up with Story Syndicate to chart Mayor Pete’s rise to fame in recent months. We’ll soon know if Pete makes it to the primaries. If he doesn’t, the documentary stands a fair chance of being scrapped. This might not be such terrible news for many members of the queer community. After Buttigieg’s Time cover story was released in early May, there’s been a fair amount of backlash from folks in the gay community who feel that Buttigieg’s image is too whitewashed to make a difference in terms of representation.
Rated R 102 Minutes Released May 24
In Greta LeFleur’s “Heterosexuality Without Women,” the writer takes the Time story – as well as its Americana-inspired photoshoot – to task for being too chaste, too sexless, too much about everything but the candidate’s relationship to sex and gayness. “...the argument I am making, of course,” writes LeFleur, “is that this photo [of Buttigieg and husband, Chasten,] is about a lot of things, but one of its defining features is its heterosexuality. It’s offering us the promise that our first gay first family might actually be a straight one.” Is it a sort of sleight-of-hand that allows potential voters to see Buttigieg as not a gay candidate, but an almost traditional candidate? Compared to super left-wing contenders like Bernie Sanders and kooky New Age entrants like Marianne Williamson, Buttigieg, next to Warren, may be the most straight-and-narrow candidate we have. And he’s far from straight. Whether the documentary will be a true glimpse into the life of America’s first openly-gay Presidential hopeful or a puffy publicity piece, it will be worth watching. Plus, we’ll take any excuse to start getting ready for Oscar season.

STAR GAZING
ARIES (March 21-April 19) Aries today will refuse heroism. You will work, feeling sorry for yourself, and not worrying about how your passivity will affect the outcome of your teamwork. Fortunately, there will be a lot of energetic people among your partners. TAURUS (April 20-May 20) Taurus is advised to remember everything about the life of their second half. They will hint that the anniversary is coming, which is of great importance for them. You will remember what this date is, and why your constant partner treats it so reverently. GEMINI (May 21-June 21) Gemini is not recommended to pretend that their life is “sweet and smooth.” Thus, you do not deceive yourself or others. You should realize that others can support you in words and deeds. All that you need, in order to get help from them, is to be honest. CANCER (June 22-July 22) Cancers will have to break the promise given to a particular person. You will not be able to free yourself to help in his personal affairs. He will not take offense, but you will no longer be able to count on help from his side. LEO (July 23-Aug. 22) For Leos today it will be extremely important to get feedback from others. All those ideas that you try to convey to them will be appreciated. In social networks and on numerous forums on the internet, you will receive a flurry of comments and messages dedicated just to discuss your idea. VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22) Virgos will feel great delight this day. Friday you will spend alone with your second half, as if forgetting about everything that you two were worried and depressed about. This romantic and bright moment will be firmly laid in your memory. LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 23) Libra is recommended to devote July 13 to routine tasks. At the same time, give up the struggle for career success, as circumstances will not allow you to achieve a noticeable result in this struggle. SCORPIO (Oct. 24-Nov. 21) This day will bring Scorpio a number of small worries, caused by their unsatisfactory state of health. Perhaps you are so tired of work that you will not be able to hide this fatigue even with a radiant smile. Ahead lies the whole weekend, which you can devote to passive rest. SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21) Sagittarius today are destined to visit an unusual cultural event. After a couple of hours devoted to works exhibited by the creative master, you can not fully understand what the highlight of all that you saw actually was. CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19) Capricorns are recommended for active leisure. As soon as the working week reaches the end, do not lock yourself in your home in the company of television and the internet. The best fresh emotions you can get only after you become an active participant in some noisy action. AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18) Aquarius today do not want to waste their vocabulary on dialogue with a tedious companion. You will pretend that you agree with his rightness, and then do what you think is right. If it is a question of some kind of material issue, you will not succeed by hiding your actions. PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20) Pisces today is not recommended to start a love relationship. There is a risk that it will be unhappy. The reason is the excessive haste which you will show, wanting to get closer to your new passion. Beforehand, you should thoroughly understand what sort of person is before you, what virtues and disadvantages they have.
