We were going back and forth about what our visual identity should be like and how cool or very out of us (Residency) it should be and of course I had my own ideas of what I wanted for it. So my proposition would be a blurred line between a film reel and flag, something infinitive or that didn’t seem to have a resolution. I think that’s even the mind-frame of Visuals & Co. What is the Co? Is it company or collaboration, it’s exactly that. Mongezi said, “With this journal, we have no result or resolution.”

L’art Pour L’art — Art For Art’s Sake Visuals & Co A photographic journal
On a recent episode of Drink Champs with 2 Chains, he spoke about having four hard drives of music that are yet to be released. Being an artist, creator or contributor to the cultural art space, one can empathise with what 2 Chains is speaking of. At Residency Creative Studio we are guilty of this ourselves. There is a vast amount of work and ideas that we've shelved for various reasons. With that, we decided to team up with friends and collaborators to create and fulfil briefs dedicated to the idea of l’art pour lárt, art for art’s sake. In 2022 we're putting our foot forward, maybe not the best foot, but a foot forward nonetheless.
