Pros Two seating positions Lightweight Easy to transport Shoulder strap Comfortable wide seat Breathable mesh

The compact and lightweight construction makes it a great travel companion also there when you need to take a load off your feet.

Walkstool Comfort 55cm I have a bit of a weird thing, I’m not sure if there’s a medical term for it but if I have to stand still for too long I get very light headed and can faint, this has happened during school assemblies, waiting for a band to come on (for some reason dancing is ok) and queueing for the latest Harry Potter book, its odd, so a lot of the time if I have to stand still for a long time (and can get away with it) I will simply sit on the floor. Now, this isn’t always possible, ever seen the state of the floor by the stage at the festival, it’s a biohazard, this is where something like the Walkstool Comfort would be convenient. The Walkstool Comfort comes in four sitting height options, 45, 55, 65 and 75cm (the seat size also increases with the height), we received the 55cm to test out, it weighs 900g, can take up to 225kg in weight and has a 37.5cm seat. Manufactured in Sweden, this stool has a lightweight construction and comes with a mesh carry bag, this can be tucked in a bag or attached to a belt or worn over the shoulder, ideal for quick sessions of sitting before moving on. The telescopic legs are made from a lightweight aluminium and easily slide out, the pointed rubber feet offer a stable seat on most surfaces, indoors or out. There is also the option of not extending the legs out, I just needed to use my feet for balance, putting you at a lower height if needed, closer to the picnic selection perhaps.

The red buttons to retract the legs are easy to locate, you need to give them a reasonably hard push or poke your nail in there a bit and then they slide away easily. The seat is made from a strong mesh material, it has enough flexibility in it so the edges don’t dig into your legs, you can sit happily for extended periods of time, the mesh is also breathable, I don’t really want to go into details here but no one likes a hot bot. The Walkstool Comfort is a handy piece of gear, you can take a break to appreciate the view during a trek, give your legs a break whilst waiting for the next band to come on stage or take a comfy seat whilst fishing, it is so versatile.

We will attempt a quick run through of each tool starting with the DCD795 XR Compact Brushless Combi Drill, this drill features the latest brushless motor technology for efficient performance and a longer runtime. With an ultra-compact, lightweight design this is ideal for use in confined spaces, the two speed all metal transmission increases runtime and longer tool life and the all metal chuck increases durability. There is 14 position adjustable torque control for consistent screwdriving into a range of different materials, an intelligent trigger design for total control, improved ergonomics and Brushless ID for extra comfort in use. The base mounted LED work light increases visibility in dark corners whilst the 202mm front to back length increases application versatility. For more information on the DEWALT DCK699M3T-GB 18V click here

The DCS391 165mm Circular Saw has a 165mm blade and when combined with 3700rpm powerful motor means this 18v cordless circular saw will make light work of most jobs, the PM58 DEWALT fan cooled motor has replaceable brushes that are capable of delivering up to 3700rpm for very fast cutting applications using the 165mm TCT blade. This saw has a cast magnesium base for repeated accurate cuts, the ergonomic handle has a rubber over-mould making it comfortable and stable in your hand, the intelligent trigger action, keyless bevel angle and depth of cut adjustment with its easy to read scale allows for maximum versatility. The ultra-thin kerf 165mm 24tooth carbide tipped blade provides an efficient run time with a smooth cut finish allowing 55mm depth of cut.

The DCF887 Brushless Impact Driver has an improved brushless motor increases the torque provided, 205Nm to be precise, suitable for a range of light to heavy applications. With an integrated three mode selector for different applications, mode one is best suited for light and small jobs, whereas mode three is more suitable for heavy impact jobs. It has a new impact mechanism for a longer drive and better speed, the specialist SBS module derives more power from the motor and the new chuck design with "drop and load" bit holder makes for fast bit changes when working. The three LED light ring lights up the working area, the overall length has been reduced to 135mm so it is also well suited for making it ideal for use in small spaces. The lightweight design reduces the amount of fatigue the user will experience after long sessions, this impact driver also includes an ergonomic cold forged impactor handle that improves overall durability. The 'PrecisionDrive' mode offers additional control in screwdriving applications to avoid material and fastener damage and it is compatible with all DEWALT18v XR battery packs.

7

The DCH253 Brushless SDS+ Hammer Drill is powerful enough to drill holes into brick and masonry 4mm to 24mm, the rotation stop mode can be used for light chiselling in plaster and tiles for example, the impact stop mode can be used for rotary only drilling in wood and metal. It has a best in class vibration, 6.9m/s reduces user fatigue making it easier to use for longer periods without feeling like you have done a workout. The bright white LED with delay feature improves visibility in poor light conditions and the lightweight design makes it comfortable to manoeuvre into over head positions.

The DCS331 Jigsaw is the last tool in this collection, this latest generation premium Jigsaw has a PM47 fan-cooled motor for fast cutting action with up to 3000 strokes per minute, the intelligent variable speed trigger with lock-off switch gives you quick, controlled cuts as well as enhancing safety whilst you work. The tool-free adjustable shoe has an anti-scratch cover and bevels 45° in both directions, whilst the quick and patented keyless blade change system accepts T-shank blades.

Doom r Brown 's Deluxe Electric Steriliser H Band The newly re-designed Deluxe Bottle Steriliser from Dr Brown’s uses steam to sterilise up to six bottles at once. This convenient electric steam steriliser system fits ALL Dr Brown’s bottles and most other bottle brands. The Deluxe is a rather sizable unit so be prepared to say goodbye to some of your kitchen worktop for at least 12 months, the lid is attached via a hinge which means you will have to position the unit away from the wall slightly. One of the biggest appeals of this steriliser is the simplicity, a jug is included to measure out the optimum amount of water, once the bottles are loaded up it only takes a press of a button to activate the sterilising cycle. The handy light indicators show where abouts in the cycle the Deluxe is, heating up, cleaning or finished, and if the lid is kept closed the bottles will be sterile for up to 24hours.

The cycle takes between 8-12 minutes to complete, ensuring it’s never too long a wait for a clean bottle, the built-in accessory tray holds bottle parts, teats, and dummies. The included tongs can be used to remove bottles, preventing hot bottles coming into contact with fingers as well as ensuring items remain sterile for longer, the automatic shut off feature lets you switch it on and forget about it. The removable tray has been designed to position the bottles perfectly, so the steam is directed into each bottle, there is room for up to 6 bottles per cycle. The only awkward thing about this steriliser is that to empty the water you need to tip the whole unit upside down which normal involves unplugging and holding it over the sink. Other than that, the Dr Brown's Deluxe Electric Steriliser is a great device for those with babies, fast, efficient and spacious, leaving bottles and accessories drip free and sterile.

SteelSeries Arctis 9X The Wireless Arctis 9X couldn’t have arrived at a better time, with lockdown now upon us and time now becoming more available for hobbies, gamers like myself will be looking for a comfortable headset that we can lose ourselves for hours without any aches or pains, so how did the Arctis 9X from steelseries fair up? Firstly lets comment on the design, what separates this from other headsets I have reviewed is the fabric band which after a few minutes of tweaking was moulded comfortably around my head, twinned with the flat ear cups, after a few minutes I forgot I was wearing the set. This was tested after Call of Duty Warzone had finally downloaded and my first session on this was about 6 hours and I must say hands down this is the most comfortable headset I have worn, no hot ears, no aches, it has now been 3 weeks and I will not be going back to my old headset now. With regards to features, on the right ear cup, you can control the power, Volume, Bluetooth and whether or not the internal microphone is muted for when you have a bag of crisps in hand. On the left ear cup is a scroll wheel where you can alter the balance between application audio (games, films, and so on) and the microphone. Everything is intuitively placed and easy to locate without the need to take off the headset entirely. We bought an Xbox Wireless dongle so we could test this out on the PC as well as the Xbox, for both systems its really easy you just plug it in as you would any other headset. We installed the steelseries Engine which allowed us to modify settings and tweaked balances here and there, you will need to install this on a desktop or laptop. As I mainly play shooters I played with the bass so I can hear footsteps and doors opening a lot clearer and can determine the direction with more clarity. The Immersive Sonic Spatial Audio is unbelievably good as well, It has been made so you can detect all of the noises happening around the player, regardless of how subtle or abrasive they might be and in games like Warzone this can be all the difference from getting to the final ten to being number one. As you have probably acknowledged from above, I cant fault this headset I love it, oh did I even mention the 20 hour battery life??!!! For all you gamers out there this could be a really wise investment!

WeeRide Safe Front Deluxe Baby Bike Seat As the weather begins to warm up its time to dust off those cobwebs on the bike and hit the road in a more eco-friendly manner, if you have a small person in tow this could be made even easier with the WeeRide Safe Front Deluxe Baby Bike Seat. The Deluxe comes in two colours, Blue Denim or Beige, the seat measures up at 38 × 29 × 50cm and will add an additional 3.7kg to the bike before loading up the little passenger. The seat is recommended for ages from 1-4 years (up to 15kg), although can be used as soon as neck muscles are strong enough i.e. 6-9 months, however as we know children come in all shapes and sizes at any age so it’s definitely worth plonking them in the seat before attaching it to the bike. The seat comes with patented centre mount baby cycle seat not a front mount fixing system, the patented bar puts weight in the centre of the bike and not on the front like other front seats. There are no attachments to the handlebars, making for a safer ride, the seat fits all bikes including oversized head tubes and full suspension of 16”+ (except drop handle bars), it comes with its own bar so it will fit both Ladies and Mens bikes, a new adaptor is also available for zero headset bikes.

Tested by TUV and GS to EN14344 European Safety Standards, this seat is robust and when attached to the bike it feels very secure, instalment took a little while, but we believe this is more down to us than anything else. Once the bar is attached it can be left on the whole time, attaching the seat takes less than 20seconds and spare bars can be purchased separately so the Deluxe can be easily attached to other bikes, switching between rides on the fly. The Seat comes with a headrest for baby to sleep, the adjustable footrests keep dangling feet out of the way, the plush cushions give the child a comfortable ride for extended periods of time. The 5-point safety strap keeps the child safe and secure, the higher sides also increase stability and the chunky buckles make it easy for grown up hands to open. Having the child up in front means you can easily communicate with them; they get to see the world around them rather than your back and having them sit between yours arms is comforting for both parties. The WeeRide Safe Front Deluxe Baby Bike Seat is a great front bike seat, the weight is loaded in the middle making it feel highly stable, it is rather bulky and takes a bit of getting used to, however it is quick to attach and the padded headrest gives the child a few comfortable positions to sit in.

£129.99 Pros Weight loaded in the centre of bike Child gets a great view of the world Quick to attach (once the bar is installed) Padded headrest for baby to sleep Fits most bikes 5 point safety strap and enclosed movable footrests for child safety. Cons A little bulky Initial installation takes some time 4year olds might be too big For more information on the WeeRide Safe Front Deluxe Baby Bike Seat click here

Pros Kids are great and all but the cold hard truth is they are just too small, I mean they don’t even fit in car seats, meaning you have to cart around a cumbersome car seat on top of all the other stuff they require. Joking aside (not joking), it is essential that children have the right car seat to ensure their safety whilst they yell at you from the back seat that they are hungry/bored/want to drive etc, the BubbleBum Inflatable Car Booster Seat is an award winning child seat that can take some of the stress out of travelling. The BubbleBum comes in five designs, can be bought in a single or twin set and we received the Black and Pink Chevron set to test out, this inflatable and portable booster seat is suitable for children aged from four up until 11years old and 15 to 36kg (with the provision of a vehicle headrest). It meets the EU Safety Standard R44.04 for both Groups 2 and 3 and was founded by UK mum Grainne Kelly, after she had grown frustrated and concerned for her children’s safety when travelling. The narrow design means you can fit three across the back seat if needed and weighing just 500g it doesn’t add too much weight to the rest of your gear. The seat is inflated when you need it (yes this involves you blowing it up unless you can persuade the child but it only takes a few puffs) this makes it reasonably compact when deflated, however the padding and straps means it will still take up a good amount of room in a standard sized backpack or school bag. Constructed from a durable material, similar to that of life vests, the seat has memory foam for comfort and a strong webbing harness for protection, the side positioning clips position the vehicle seat belt over the bony pelvis area, away from the soft tissue of the abdomen, which is the optimum positioning for the safety of the child. The Booster Seat comes with its own stretchy bag for easy transportation, ideal for taxi rides, trips with grandparents or car rentals, it takes less than 20 seconds to blow up and is easy to strap them in, a good choice to ensure your child always has a booster seat when needed.

Sensi Luxury Pen Is it a pen or is it a vape? Well it is a vape but craftily designed as a pen, we had the pleasure of reviewing the Silver Luxury Vape Pen from Sensi Luxury Vapes. The product is very sleek and had great build quality and is very compact when compared to other vapes on the market allowing you to easily carry it in your back pocket. With a Screw Cap Cover with Flex Clip to protect mouth pieces and allow for easy "clip and go", coil-less Ceramic Atomizer (1.6Ί) designed to produce highly potent clean vapor and a fillable 0.5ml Ceramic Tank (1.6Ί) with double dual intakes to ensure continuous fluid saturation. Ameo Powerbreather Wave Edition Snorkelling can be an amazing experience, getting to view the landscapes and creatures that live below the wave is like visiting another planet, however snorkels aren’t always the easiest pieces of equipment to work with, breathe in a mouthful of salty water once and the trust is broken. The Ameo Powerbreather Wave Edition is a complete redesign of the standard snorkel for all applications including choppy open water. The Ameo Powerbreather Wave Edition is more than just a tool to gawp at fishes however, this has been created for triathletes and anyone who wants to swim in both the pool or moving free water and works well for lower swimming positions. Unlike the standard snorkel the Powerbreather has two breathing tubes, which form a two-way separation system, this means there is always fresh, oxygen-rich air available, with the exhaled air being forced out the bottom of the device through the speed vent, you get a much more natural breathing action. Each Powerbreather comes with the Powerbreather unit, 2x Speedvent Easy S (Standard), 2x Speedvent Easy L (Extended version for open water / WAVE Edition only), 2x Flip Cap (for flip turn or open water / WAVE & LAP Edition only) and a zip up travel case.

Pros Ameo Fresh Air System, two-way separation system

Always fresh oxygen Speed Vent for natural breathing Twist Lock System for

Suitable for all performance levels, triathletes and snorkelers and ideal for technique, endurance and respiratory muscle training in one, we would recommend swimmers in open waters to have had some experience with snorkels just to be extra safe as it can feel quite strange to begin with. The Ameo Fresh Air System, means that for the first time the swimmer breathes only fresh air, no pendulum breathing, the valve technology prevents water from entering the unit, which eliminates the need to blow out liquids from the snorkel. The D shaped tubes sit either side of the face whilst the head strap has a twist lock system making for fast and secure fitting, however the twist lock can catch little bits of hair so it maybe worth wearing a cap. The straps on the goggles may also need to be adjusted just to avoid the Powerbreather pressing them into the head, the mouth piece feels quite large at first but when you are using it, once the head is in the water the position feels instinctive, however you may notice your jaw aches a little once you are back on dry land. The only other issue we found was that the mouthpiece can’t be quickly popped out to talk or take a quick drink, the whole unit has to be removed and then retightened when put back on. Waves and turns in the pool are no match for the Powerbreather, getting a good pace on is easier by keeping your head down for longer and taking large natural breaths, whilst watching marine life is more comfortable than ever with this snorkel.

comfortable and secure hold

AlcoSense Range

We all know drinking and driving is something to be avoided, there are also a lot of other things that should be avoided when alcohol is still in your system, operating machinery, ordering things on Ebay or texting your mother in law all being fine examples. The AlcoSense breathalyser range takes the guess work out of your alcohol limits, keeping you and others safer on the roads.

AlcoSense Lite 2

£44.99

Pros Highly accurate Easy to use Calibration

The new AlcoSense Lite 2 is the entry level breathalyser, ideal for personal home use, this pocket-sized breathalyser measures up at 110 x 45 x 21mm, it can be set to any UK or Irish drink drive limit, costing just £44.99 it’s a great way to check if you are still over the limit the next morning. Like all the AlcoSense products, the Lite 2 has been designed to be easy to use, just turn on the unit, pop in the breathing tube, wait for it to count down to zero and then blow until it beeps. The Semi-Conductor sensor produces instant results which are clear to read, displayed on the screen showing your level of intoxication in ‰BAC (per mille blood alcohol content) in increments of 0.1, the Lite 2 will alert you when you are close to or over the user-set drink drive limit with a don’t drive alert. Powered by just 3 x AAA batteries you can use it anywhere at any time, the ASC feature can be manually selected by the user to deep clean the sensor and should be undertaken periodically to remove contaminants like residue and oxidisation from the sensor. The Lite 2 will pop up with a reminder after 12 months or 300 tests to send it off for recalibration to ensure the accuracy. The Lite 2 does not actively clear residual alcohol from the sensor after each test meaning that you must wait 5 minutes between tests, 6 blow tubes and 3 AAA batteries are included. RRP £44.99 (£22.99 recalibration fee).

AlcoSense Ultra

AlcoSense Excel

The Ultra is AlcoSense’s premium breathalyser, this is more than your personal breathalyser, the Ultra has been designed for professional use, like the Excel it features a fuel cell sensor, however this is larger and exactly the same as what several UK, EU & US Police use. The drink drive limit can be selected from the builtin database featuring a list of worldwide limits, the Ultra also uses deep lung air and the readings are fine-tuned according to temperature. 128 results can be stored on the device with date and time stamps whilst the PC connectivity means the results can be downloaded and stored on the computer for record keeping. The BlowCoach talks you through the steps with realtime feedback on screen, the aim is to keep the top pressure bar in the middle, and keep blowing until the bottom volume bar is full. If your performed reading was wrong the Ultra will actually tell you why it was wrong (blowing too softly for example) and provide tips on how to quickly correct it. The Ultra’s tolerance is +0.07‰BAC, -0.00‰BAC, it has a full colour 1.8 inch (48mm) TFT screen which provides the same traffic light style results as the Excel. Unlike the Excel however the Ultra will calculate how long it may take until you’ll be sober, you can then set a reminder to re-test again later. The Ultra also has a backlit blow tube receptor and works with the “Pro” or “regular” blow tubes, you get a recalibration reminder at 11months, as well as the temperature alerts and saturation protection. This breathalyser comes with a carry case, 100 blow tubes and three AAA batteries. RRP £249.99 (£29.99 recalibration fee).

Moving up a level the Excel uses a 64mm2 Fuel Cell Sensor, a smaller version of a Police sensor, it has a 48mm full colour TFT screen and works with any drink drive limit in the world, this entry level fuel cell breathalyser has both outstanding accuracy and functionality. The most accurate way to measure breath alcohol is to measure the deep lung air, to get to this air the user must blow out 1 litre of air before a reading is taken and the Excel will walk you through the process. To improve the accuracy even further, the readings are fine-tuned according to external temperature, the Excel’s tolerance is +0.15‰BAC, -0.00‰BAC, it means the Excel will read a little on the safe side. Similar to the Lite 2 you switch the Excel on and slide open the device, pop in the blow tube and follow the on-screen instructions. The full colour screen gives clear and detailed readings of your alcohol level in a traffic light style green for low or zero alcohol, amber for when alcohol is present but under the limit and red when the alcohol reading is close to or over the limit with a don't drive alert. The Excel has a memory recall of your 24 readings, the blow tube receptor has a back light making it easier to using in low light. The “Pro” mouthpieces feature a oneway valve to eliminate contamination from previous tests for ultimate accuracy, just like the Lite 2 the Excel uses a notification when it’s time for recalibration after 11 months of use (you get 1-month warning). To calibrate simply post it to AlcoSense and it will be returned to you within 5 working days and alerts will pop up if the breathalyser is outside its operating temperatures (5°C-40°C). The Excel also protects against inaccurate readings caused by “Sensor Saturation”, rather than allowing potentially unreliable readings to be shown, AlcoSense Excel will enter a protection mode which allows the sensor to recover before allowing further tests. The Excel comes with 5 mouthpieces, 3 x AAA Batteries and a USB Cable to download software updates. RRP £119.99 (£29.99 recalibration fee).

£249.99

When it comes to ensuring alcohol is safely out of your system AlcoSense has got your back, highly accurate with a range suitable for both personal and professional use, police grade sensors and fool proof operation we wouldn’t look anywhere else.

Arccos Caddie Smart Sensors The Arccos Caddie Smart Sensors are in their 3rd-Generation, the kit comes with 14 individual sensors, one for every club in your bag which connect to the Arccos Caddie app to provide a wide range of information whilst out on the green. The sensors themselves are made from high quality materials, they attach to the club simply by screwing into the top of the clubs grip where they will then remain securely, then it’s just a matter of connecting them to the app, once connected they will not need to be reconnected with each new game. Once in place the app will receive real time automatic shot tracking, the Smart Distance Club Averages and will assist in selecting the right club by distance for every shot. The new A.I. Powered GPS Rangefinder, is the firstever rangefinder that adjusts in real-time for wind (including gusts), slope, temperature, humidity and altitude giving you the Arccos Caddie Number, the most precise yardage in the game. The personalised Caddie Advice uses the A.I. to help with the optimal strategy and the advanced analytics are powered by strokes gained providing personalised performance breakdowns to guide practice and equipment choices. All this information can be reviewed on the app whilst you play or read back once you have finished the game, the phone will need to be close to the club to receive the data which may be a downside for some, as this means keeping it in your pocket rather than leaving the phone in a bag. The Arccos Caddie Smart Sensors have won four-straight Golf Digest Editor's Choice Awards for "Best Game Analyzer," and users have said they have experienced an average handicap improvement of 4.2 strokes during the first year, some in as few as 5 rounds. The Smart Sensors purchases comes with a free 1-year subscription valued at starting from the date the sensors are activated, after the 1-year you will be auto-billed $99.99 per year to have full access to all the benefits, this might sound a lot but at just shy of $2 a week it seems reasonable for all the data provided and who knows after a year you may be good enough to not require it. The Smart Sensors are permitted under the Rules of Golf (Decision Number 2017-0754), the slight increase on the length of the club may take a little getting used to but the low profile means they should affect normal game place. The batteries have been designed to last up to 5 years with 2 years being fully guaranteed, unfortunately you cannot replace the batteries yourself which means when they run out you will need to replace the sensors. The Arccos Caddie Smart Sensors are great little golf buddies, encouraging you to improve your game and giving you a deeper insight into your performance, like many golf accessories they come at a cost but we believe you get value for money with this set up. Livlab Dodow Sleep Aid I am always excited to test out anything that offers to Pros help me get a good nights sleep, for as long as I can Compact and portable remember I have struggled to switch my brain off at night, whether I’m mentally listing the things I need Soft relaxing light to do the next day or perfecting the ultimate come 8 and 20 minute mode to choose back in some imaginary argument it’s just constantly buzzing away. from The Dodow from Livlab aims to calm down that brain Dimmable light at night with guided breathing exercises, it comes in the form of a compact disc that looks a little like a coaster, this slim design means it will fit on even the Cons smallest of night stands or can even be placed on the pillow next to you (although there is then the risk Difficult to angle the light of rolling onto it in the night) as well as making it Only projects on the ceiling (not extremely portable. The Dodow comes with 3-AAA batteries that are easy the wall for side sleepers) to install and has an LED light built in that projects a calming blue light (brightness < 1 lux) that relaxes the body without inhibiting melatonin production like the blue light from phone screens for example. The light is soft and dimmable to ensure any bedroom buddies aren’t disturbed, the light works in a metronome style with the idea being you breathe in the length of time it takes for the light to expand and out for the full length of time it takes to retract. To initiate the program the Dodow requires a simple tap to activate the 8 minute mode or tap it twice to start the 20 minute mode, the blue light then appears on the ceiling. Once you have synchronised your breathing the light will begin to increase the length of time light expands and retracts, naturally slowing down your breathing and creating a sensation of tiredness. At the end of the exercise (8 or 20 minutes) the Dodow will automatically switch off, even if you are not asleep at this point you may find you are relaxed enough to drift off. The idea behind the Dodow is great, breathing in this way certainly relaxes the body and allows the mind to switch off, however the edges of the light are very soft which makes it difficult to spot immediately when you can he odow helps to focus begin exhaling. We also found it difficult to see the light directly above as there is no way to adjust the the mind on your breathing position other than rotating the disc, if the Dodow relaxing the body and brain was on a slight platform with a ball and socket joint this would give you a wider range of adjustment, this into a natural sleep could also offer up wall projection making it suitable for side sleepers. Like so many sleep products one size does not fit all, the Dodow is best suited for those that sleep on their back and just need that little nudge into relaxing into a natural sleep. ClearBlue Digital Ovulation Test Starting a family might appear to be the easiest thing in the world, I mean you come from a long line of people who have managed it but it is only when you start trying you might discover there’s more to it than a couple of glasses of wine and an early night. ClearBlue have a wide range of products available to help improve the odds by nailing down the days with the highest chance of conception, the Digital Ovulation Test takes the pressure out of deciphering regular ovulation tests with a clear indicator if its time to do the deed. This test will pinpoint the two most fertile days each cycle by measuring the changes in level of a key fertility hormone, luteinising hormone (LH). It can be more accurate than a calendar and temperature methods and has over 99% accuracy, there are 10 sticks in a box which cost £19.99 per box. It is recommended you start testing from day 5 of your cycle, however, if you have tracked your ovulation previously and know roughly when it might be you may get away with using less sticks as this can quickly add up. The results are quick and clear with a smiley face symbol when peak hormones are detected and indicators to show that the test is working correctly.

ClearBlue Ovulation Test System Connect

£18.99

The Connect takes monitoring up a level, it typically identifies four or more fertile days each cycle, these are the days leading up to and including the day of ovulation, this is by tracking the fertility hormones. What sets the Connect apart from other digital systems is that it can connect via Bluetooth to your phone, it’s the first and only test system to track two unique hormones and connect to your phone. The results are synced and displayed on your phone together with a monthly calendar, cycle comparison charts, smart reminders to ensure testing is done at the right time, the app can also be used to record your period and when you have sex. This kit comes with a re-usable holder, the test reader and 25 test sticks, this comes to £59.99, the Connect is a little more complicated, once an account has been set up, connect your holder following the instructions on the app, the wake-up stick is needed to do this, eject the wake-up stick once connected and this is needed later to activate Bluetooth on your holder. The Clearblue Connected app will then tell you when to test and display your synced results.

£59.99

If simplicity is a priority along with accuracy then the Digital Ovulation Test is probably the way forward, if a more detailed record is preferred then the Ovulation Test System Connect certainly meets the criteria. Unfortunately both system come at a price as well as use single use plastics which so many of us are trying to avoid these days, however the results are fast, easy to read and leave you in no doubt as to when your most fertile days are, so potentially a worthwhile investment for those looking for a better insight into the fertility health.

Get a clearer insight into the optimum days to try to conceive Pros Clear and fast results Accurate Connect System allows you to track your cycles on your phone

RHA TrueConnect The RHA TrueConnect earbuds come in three stylish designs, Black, White and our favourite Navy Blue, all with a tasteful matte finish, the charging case matches the earbuds and opens with a twisting motion that is oddly satisfying. The TrueConnect also comes with a USB-A to USB-C charging cable, stainless steel ear tip holder, true wireless silicone ear tips, 2xS, 2xM, 2xL and comply foam TrueGrip Plus ear tips 1xS, 1xM, 1xL. The TrueGrip Plus ear tips provide a secure fit which holds them firmly in place even during intense workouts, it also helps block out background noise by forming a tight seal in the ear. The battery life is a bit disappointing in this price range with 5 hours play back from one charge and up to 25hours when the charging case is used, it does support fast charging however, taking just 15minutes to receive 50% charge. With an IPX5 rating this ensures the TrueConnect earbuds are protected against sweat and are water resistant, making them a good choice for an active lifestyle.

Straight forward to connect with help from the voice assistant, these earbuds use Bluetooth 5, the signature stem has been designed to maximise signal strength between headphone and phone, we experienced zero latency and no connectivity issues during our testing. Phone calls, music playback and connected smart functions can be controlled via the button on the earbud (although this does mean pressing the earbuds into your ear) or spoken commands thanks to the mic. The stem improves the quality of any calls you need to take, while the battery life indicator flashes up every time you open the case. The sound quality is close to faultless (as you would expect for the price), lovely rich bass, defined mid tones and bright high tones come together for a balanced and layered audio experience. Leaving the slightly limited battery life aside, the TrueConnect are as functional as they are beautiful, great sound with a reliable connection they are great for taking work calls on the go as well as working hard in the gym.

Sure Petcare Cats are great companions but there’s no question that they can also be pains in the backside, being the owner to two furry friends I face a couple of regular battles, feeding is difficult as one of the boys feels he is entitled to both bowls whilst the other will just stare longingly from the corner. The second issue involves me leaving the door open for them to go outside, I will be freezing my butt off only to find they are both curled up on the bed upstairs. Sure Petcare have got a great range of connected products to help ease issues like this, we will be taking a closer look at the Sure Petcare Hub, Microchip Cat Flap Connect and Microchip Pet Feeder Connect.

Sure Petcare Hub

Get an insight into the secretive life of your cats and take care of them even when you are

The Hub will act as the brain for your connect away from home. products and allow you to connect to your pet from anywhere in the world, so there is no mistakes as to what this device is for it comes in a sweet design with two little cat ears that light up with notifications. You can link the Hub to the Sure Petcare app via a smart device, from here you can control the connected products and add up to 10 products per household, eight food bowls, a cat flap and pet door for example. It plugs into your WiFi router using an included ethernet cable and a separate lead is needed to plug it into the mains, the combination will limit where you can place the hub. If the flashing ears become a distraction they can be dimmed but we loved this feature.

Surefeed Microchip Cat Flap Connect

Traditional cat flaps are great for letting the cats come and go without letting the heat out of your house but can become a bit of a revolving door for all the other pets on your road, before you know it you are feeding 18 different moggies and running a furry Airbnb. The Microchip Cat Flap Connect ensures only your cats can use it, by registering their unique microchip to the cat flap it prevents intruders from sneaking in. Suitable for Installation into doors, walls or glass, the instructions are easy to follow thanks to the videos, once the Microchip Cat Flap is fitted it feels robust and looks good, it has a slightly chunkier design than the traditional cat flap but that shouldn’t put you off. Next, the Microchip Cat Flap Connect can be connected to the Hub and linked to the Sure Petcare app, here you can get detailed information of your cat’s comings and goings, monitor their long-term activity and notice changes in behaviour. When adventure time is over this cat flap can be remotely locked and later unlocked from anywhere via the app, notifications can be received when your pet enters and leaves your home or curfews can be set at specified times of the day. The DualScan technology allows for individual exit permissions to be set for each pet, so a specific pet can be kept indoors during medical treatment for example. App access can be shared across the family or pet sitters and the 4xAA batteries (which are not included) should give you up to 6 months use. The Cat Flap Connects door measures up at 142mm (W) x 120mm (H), if your puss is a bit of a chonk you can always upgrade to the larger size at 178mm (W) x170mm (H). Getting your cats used to the cat flap might take a few packets of treats, they only need to poke their head through once to register them but the door does make a clicking noise when it recognises the registered cat which can freak some nervous moggies out to begin with, however, with enough patience and treats the majority will get over it. When the door is locked it is secure, even the most persistent trespasser cannot push their way in, you cannot even push it open with your hand. For more information on Sure Petcare click here

Surefeed Microchip Pet Feeder Connect This intelligent feeder is registered to the cat’s microchip (or RFID collar tag) ensuring only that cat has access to the food, this is an ideal solution for multi cat households where one cat is overweight, on a medical diet or just a big ol’ greedy guts. Just like the cat flap, it connects to the Hub and then the Petcare app, it’s here you can monitor how much your cat eats, how often they eat and notice changes in their feeding habits, which can be an indicator of health issues. The integrated scales weigh your cat’s food and LEDs guide you to serve food portions within 1g of accuracy, this is a great tool as its so easy to over feed by accident. The Feeder can be used with both wet and dry food and has a 400ml capacity, and the sealed bowl keeps food fresher and free of flies, the bowl is removable for easy cleaning, and the feeder can be customised with various different colours available and split bowls that lets them access wet and dry food simultaneously. The dashboard on the can will display an overview of their feeding activity, including the times of day kitty comes to snack and how much they eat at each time, notifications can be set up to alert you of the frequency, duration and times that your pet visits the feeder. The app also offers personalised setup of up to two different food types, the portion amount, lid close delay and activate the training mode, just like the cat flap, kitty will need a little training to get the hang of it, but as there is food involved they will suddenly turn into little Einsteins and work it out quickly enough.

£130

£115 The Surefeed Microchip Pet Feeder Connect and Microchip Cat Flap Connect combined with the Sure Petcare Hub is a great way of taking care of your cat from anywhere in the world, ideal for working with pet sitters too. Track pets outdoor routine and eating habits on the app

Teufelberger treeMOTION evo I had never really appreciated what a tree surgeon did until we moved into a property with a 150 year old English Oak stretching over it, before the job title would just conjure up images of a guy in scrubs hanging off a branch shouting “Scalpel! Stat!”, turns out these hard workers are actually called arborists and the work is both highly skilled and dangerous. It goes without saying that this kind of specialist work needs specialist equipment and the treeMOTION evo harness from Teufelberger is one of the leaders in this field. Teufelberger’s top climbing harness features new multiple bridge variations changed out as required, as well as the usual comfort and safety this company is known for. There is a new exchangeable double rope or simple webbing bridge, new forward D rings (European Pat App 3 332 840), Cobra buckles, webbing organiser, multi-coloured bridges for more safety and reduced pressure points thanks to the multi-layer webbing layout. Featuring knotted rope bridge, stitched rope bridge and webbing bridge, it is quick and easy to switch between the knotted and stitched bridge, the multiple options have approved/certified bridge attachment hardware. The anodised and stronger Cobra buckles have protection against sawdust, individual gear loops, whilst the different bridges options have different knotted rope bridge (125cm and 180cm), stitched rope bridge (40cm, 45cm and 50cm) and webbing bridge (40cm, 45cm and 50cm). The treeMOTION evo is highly comfortable with an ergonomic design, replaceable back padding, improved distribution of loads whilst allowing for a wide range of natural movements when working. All the materials used are high quality, made from a combination of textiles and plastic for ultimate strength and durability. To increase service life the rope bridges, hip-leg connection, back padding, left and right leg loops, leg padding and gear loops can all be exchanged if there are signs of wear, it is also compatible with the treeMOTION evo shoulder strap. The treeMOTION Evo is a little bit of an investment but we believe the comfort and performance justifies the price, sometimes you simply get exactly what you pay for.

Thetford Porta Potti 365 I was recently chatting to a friend about music festivals and she said she could appreciate they would be a lot of fun, but the horror stories she has heard about the toilets have always put her off, it doesn’t help that all those horror stories are true. No one enjoys those little blue cubicles of doom (and those that do should be avoided) so when another mate mentioned they use a Porta Potti (they have a camper van) and It got me thinking, maybe this could be the way forward. Thetford are the world market leaders in mobile sanitary systems, who hasn’t heard of a Porta Potti? It might not be one of the most glamorous claims to fame but when the average adult can visit the loo up to 10 times a day (not considering any added alcohol) it certainly is an important one. The Thetford Porta Potti 365 is a comfortable and practical solution to avoiding those horror bogs, measuring up at 414 x 383 x 427mm it is nice and compact whilst housing a 21L waste holding tank and a 15L flush tank.

Pros Comfortable, practical and durable No connection to drainage or water system needed

Easy and discrete to empty Durable plastic Piston flushing system Portable

The Porta Potti doesn’t require connection to a drainage system or water supply making it suitable for just about anywhere, due to the design and chemicals used, it doesn’t smell, you may get a waft of the chemicals when opening the lid but that’s about it. The 365 weighs 4kg when empty and offers a seating height of 408mm, roughly the same height as a regular toilet, so sitting down feels normal (familiarity can be important for some shy toilet users). The toilet can be flushed via a piston pump and then you just slide out the tank cover so everything falls into the waste tank, there is a level indicator on the waste holding tank, so you don’t have to risk an overflow. There isn’t a level indicator on the flush tank, but you can tell if it runs out and its simple to top up as the access cap is within easy reach. When it comes to emptying, detach the waste tank from the seat, find a toilet or chemical toilet waste disposal point, aim the long tube and press the button release, it is an easy and comfortable process, you can even aim and look away if you are squeamish. The Porta Potti 365 is a great choice for those looking for a way to swerve the festival toilets as well as using for a whole host of other occasions.

Lollipop Smart Wi-Fi-Based Baby Camera These days it is easier than ever to keep an eye on the ones you love, so it makes sense to be able to check in on the smallest and most vulnerable members of your family, not only do you get piece of mind but also some amazing moments that might ordinarily be missed. This sweet little camera comes in three colours Pink, Blue or Yellow, the packaging is also rather cute with tiny little foot prints cut out in the boxes, yes, I know it will only end up being discarded, but it still had the aww factor. This camera is constructed from a premium, baby-safe silicone and a long, flexible tail, this can be twisted into position to sit the camera on a table or around the bars of the crib. It is screw compatible so can also be fixed to a tripod or it can be attached to the wall via the included mount, whichever you find the safest option, with the best view of the little one. When it comes to security concerns there is a privacy mode, this keeps indoor monitoring and blocks outdoor streaming, some features such as event video will be disabled in this mode but you can still watch the live feed when your phone is connected to the same WiFi. The new Gig: Baby DJ allows for calming white noise or classical music to be played in the nursery via the built-in sound machine, including popular tracks such as "vacuum" and "hairdryer", they might not be your favourite tunes but babies seem to love them. Friends and family can be invited to see babies cutest moments with a link to the Lollipop's live camera view or a pre-recorded link, you can check in on the live view from wherever you are and the Lollipop will save a 30-second video (7 days) of significant events such as crying or environmental alerts, this means if anything unusual happens, you can go back and review specific events. The features don’t stop there however, the Cry Detection can tell the difference between ambient noises, your child’s cry for attention, if they are crying for you, you will receive an alert to let you know. The Cross Detection feature lets you set a border inside the cameras view to track movements in your baby’s crib, if anything happens outside the border, for instance if baby’s leg pokes out between the bars you will be notified. The Lollipop camera can be paired with Lollipop’s matching sensor to log temperature, humidity and air quality levels whilst the infrared LED boost night vision and the 4x digital zoom provides a closer look at the environment. Unlike some monitors there is no dedicated monitor or speaker, the app must be open on your smart device for real time feedback, the notifications will pop up if the app isn’t open but this might not be reassuring enough for some, as you are not always aware if your phone battery runs out. The WiFi style connection could also be an issue for those looking for a high security device, the privy mode is reasonable effective but limits some of the features. The image quality is impressive, even in low light as is the zoom, the Lollipop is unable to pan but with your focus being primarily on baby we didn’t find this to be an issue.

Edifier TWS1 Wireless Bluetooth Earbuds It’s not necessary to spend a fortune on wireless earphones these days and the TWS1 from Edifier are a great example of getting more for your money than you would expect, these glossy little earbuds come in White or Black, with three pairs of silicone ear tips. Costing less than £50 we were surprised to find the TWS1 has an 8hour playback time from one single charge, which is much longer than many earphones in this range. Combined with the durable and compact charging case this will increase to an overall playback time up to 32hours, with just 1.5hours for a full recharge. The TWS1 connect via Bluetooth v5.0 aptX for a strong connection with lower latency and up to 10m (30ft) connection distance (with walls). Pairing is straight forward and during our testing we didn’t experience any connectivity issues or delays, walking into the next room or even up the stairs didn’t cause the audio to break up. The earbuds have an IPX5 rating, making them splash and sweatproof, ideal for working out in the gym and safe if you get caught in the rain, the low profile design looks discreet in your ears whilst the ear tips hold them securely in your ears even during vigorous exercises, Running and Burpees for examples.

Multiple included ear tips offer numerous options for ensuring a snug fit, so you can listen worry-free and focus on enjoying the music without them falling out. The touch controls on each earbud can be used to change songs, pause, playback and answer phone calls, the cVc environmental noise reduction helps to improve the mic clarity. The audio can be used in standard stereo or switched to a mono configuration which means you can use just one earbud without losing sound channels and keep one ear on your surroundings at the same time. The TWS1 use 8mm neodymium drivers and has 16ohms impedance, again the sound quality is better than what you are expecting in this price category, the bass is reasonable, the mid and high tones are well balanced, the high tones can become a little harsh at times but nothing too distracting. Kid Comfort

Getting the kids outside in the fresh air can be great fun for the whole family but sadly their ridiculously short legs means they get tired very quickly and some try to get out of walking entirely simply because they haven’t learnt how to yet (come on, get it together kids) so this usually results in us adults carrying them about at some point. Thankfully the Deuter Kid Comfort will take the brunt of the work by helping to distribute the weight and provide plenty of storage for all the essentials for a good day out. Measuring up at 72x43x34cm (H x W x D) the bag provides 16L of storage and the whole kit weighs 3.1kg minus the kid and all your gear, this weight is mostly due to the framework but don’t let it put you off, the weight doesn’t feel much when wearing it. Available in Maron (maroon) or Midnight (navy blue), constructed from a hard wearing 420 denier and 210 denier density nylon and special high density denier polyamide that offers high abrasion resistance, the outer has Deuter Super Polytex, a 600 den Polyester thread and with a thick PU coating, helping to keep the weight to a minimum, all have a PFC-free coating to resist water and dirt and help increase the lifespan of your bag. Let’s dive into some of the many features of this bag, starting with the new Sensic Vario Mesh Backsystem, this provides optimum breathability and comfort with ‘special ventilating hollow chamber foam’ and a mesh construction that, with every movement, creates a pump effect that circulates air through the breathable Aircontact cushions. The extra air channel ventilation between the back cushions is effective while the weight of the carrier is transferred due to the flexible, moveable VariFlex ECL hip fins and the VariSlide back length adjustment system. The generously padded shoulder straps are perforated for extra ventilation whilst the stabiliser straps allow optimal positioning of the backpack. These are easy to reposition using the “Triglide“ buckle with two different fixing points, the side compression straps on the hip fins help to increase stability with heavy loads. The anatomically shaped hip fins are made from multiple layers with soft foam and 3D AirMesh lining on the inside and a firm foam on the outside, this helps to transfer the load onto the hips without causing discomfort.

The passengers comfort hasn’t been forgotten with a large, soft pillow that gently braces a tired child‘s head even in the corners of the pack, the seat is adjustable with a cushion that changes width according to age for a healthy seating position, along with height-adjustable foot rests. The strong aluminium frame with broad platform is tip-over resistant making it easy to load up the child and give them a comfortable stop to sit whilst you take a break. Other features include the anatomic profiled frame that offers balance whilst allowing for natural movements, two zipped pockets on the hip fins, airy and soft comfort zones in the child seat which is also washable, 3M reflector, key holder, Hydration System Compatible, side pockets and sternum strap. Phew, I think we are just about there with everything the Kid Comfort has to offer, if you have skipped to the end, all you really need to know it this is a comfortable and practical child carrier, easy to put on, sturdy to wear and full of useful features for a great day out, helping you to keep on trekking even when little one is ready for a nap.

Pros Sturdy aluminium frame with broad platform is tip-over resistant Base has noticeable lock function Suitable from 6 months Stabiliser straps with “Triglide“ buckle

Earin M-2 The first thing that strikes you about the Earin M-2 is just how beautifully presented they are, from the magnetic closure on the cork packaging (I am desperately trying to find a reason to keep this as it is just so tactile). The earbuds themselves are housed in a cylindrical charging case which also has a wonderfully tactile design and made from a tough but lightweight aluminium, the earbuds slot into a little draw to top up the charge when not in use whilst the compact design makes it the ideal size for popping in your pocket. The earbuds themselves are some of the smallest we have come across, the low profile discretely tuck into the ear where they remain secure, a precise fit can be achieved via the three pairs of custom foam tips. The lightweight design means you can wear these for long periods of time without fatigue or irritation in the ears, they are available in either Black or White both with a matte finish. The M-2 connect easily over Bluetooth 4.2, the dual antennae design gives the M–2 a stable connection, the NFMI MiGLO technology by NXP helps to deliver the audio without delay while maintaining a strong connection. There are four microphones both inside and outside the earphone with built in Intelligent Noise Reduction, this makes it possible to take call hands free without background noise disrupting things.

These little earbuds are both high performing and elegant at home everywhere from the gym to the daily commute.

The earbuds feature a touch and tap interface where you can control your music, this can take a bit of getting used to as the buttons are sensitive but they are intuitive so answering phone calls, skipping tracks or calling your favourite digital assistant quickly becomes second nature. The Audio Transparency can be activated with a single touch, enabling you to quickly check your surroundings before crossing the road or block out the world entirely whilst commuting to work. The companion app can be downloaded to offer more control of the audio settings, personalise the M-2 and access the latest software updates, the battery life isn’t as good as we expected for the price range, with 4 hours continuous playback and 14 hours total with the charging capsule. The sound is driven by Knowles Balanced Armature Speakers, it is difficult to comprehend how such balanced and rich tones can come out of something so little, the bass isn’t mind blowing but certainly capable enough to enjoy most genres of music, TV shows and movies. The style and audio make up for the limited battery life, a slightly pricey investment but you are paying for quality, it’s almost worth it just for the looks your friends will give you when you whip them out of your pocket.

Pros Rich, balance sound Elegant design High quality materials used Distinctive charging capsule Touch sensitive controls on the earbud

Lightweight and comfortable Cons Limited battery life

IQOS 3 DUO We have had the pleasure of reviewing IQOS’ three previous models in the past and so we were excited to find out what improvements have been made on their latest model the IQOS 3 Duo! We reviewed the original IQOS 2.4+, where we were first introduced to HEET cartridges as a concept and the whole experience. A year later we then tried out the IQOS 3 with improved design, battery life and charge times, shortly after we then tried out the IQOS 3 Multi which was the first all-in-one kit as it didn’t require a charge. Philip Morris International have now kindly sent me the IQOS 3 Duo to review so what differences are there to the previous models and what improvements have been made? Firstly, this is the first pocket charger based device that allows me to inhale two HEETS between holder charges which for me personally is the biggest Pros advancement I have seen in the market. Other key differences are that the new IQOS 3 DUO has been Slimmer and Lighter than previous slimmed down in terms of both the pocket charger models and the holder and are also both much lighter. The Simple to use holder charge rate is also much improved, the above are all massive improvements, the only one downfall Easy battery charge navigation we found was that the charge time of the actual pocket Allows you to buy mentholated tobacco charge is around 2 hours, this is much longer than the post May 20th previous devices. With the menthol cigarette ban being imposed on Inhale two HEETs in between charges May 20th this year, it is interesting to know that this Quick holder rate charge law will not affect HEET cartridges, so when your Cons stock of menthol filters runs out this could be a great alternative. Post May 20th 2020 this will be your only Slow Pocket charge rate charge option to purchase mentholated tobacco. The sealed IQOS 3 DUO box comes with the device itself, charging cable and plug, quick start guide, cleaning tool and swabs. The pocket charger is simple to use with only a single button and a strip of LEDs on one corner – 4 to indicate the pocket charger battery level (each LED equates to roughly 25% charge) and two individual LEDs to show how ‘ready’ the holder is. When both are lit, the holder is ready for two consecutive HEETS. During charging these LEDs pulse gently and, of course, you can always pop the holder out if it is only ‘half ’ charged (i.e. enough for a single HEET).

Folds down to a third of its size making it easy to store away when you have reached your destination

Overade Helmet Plixi Fit Cycling is a great way to keep fit and save money on travel, however you are more vulnerable on the road, so it is essential the right protective gear is worn, arguably the most important being the cycle helmet. The downside to this is lugging about a bulky helmet when you reach your destination, the Overade Plixi Fit makes things easier as it can be folded down into a more compact size when not in use. The helmet arrived folded, it was quite easy to work out how to pop it out in to the full sized helmet but packing it down required reading the instructions, however once you know how to do it you won’t forget. The Overade Plixi Fit has a more compact design than some helmets, resembling a ski or skateboarding helmet more than a cycling one (it looks slightly cooler on). The Plixi FIT has been an evolution of the original Plixi, the dividers are lockable so there is no question that it is correctly assembled whilst the adjustable fit system aims to provide more comfort than its predecessor. It has the same level of protection as a normal helmet and complies with US CPSC & the European EN1078 standard for helmets suitable for pedal cyclists, skateboarders and roller skaters. When folded down the Plixi Fit’s volume is divided by three and measures up at 21x11x16cm, note this isn’t teeny tiny but it certainly takes up less space in a backpack, it could even be squeezed in a large jacket pocket.

The helmet weighs 440g in S-M size and 480g in L-XL, there are 14 vents which provide a good amount of air flow, however they are not channelled vents so hotter days could result in a sweaty head still. For comfort there is an adjustable fit system allowing a precise fit, there are various inner fitting pads with different degrees of thickness and a foam covered chin strap, we have had more comfortable helmets but due to the design this will appeal to commuters, people who are cycling to the shops for example, and it is more than comfortable enough for that, we wouldn’t recommend it for someone competing in a long distance endurance race, but again, that is not what it is made for. The outer shell is made of ABS whilst the inner shell features expanded polystyrene for shock absorption during impact. All things considered the Overade Plixi FIT could be the perfect solution for those looking for short, urban rides with less bulky gear to carry around when you reach your destination, it folds down well without compromising safety and is reasonably priced.

Pros Folds down to a third of the volume

Compact storage Easy to assemble Adjustable Fit system Lockable dividers

SpiderPro Hand Strap v2 When you have your camera in your hands the SpiderPro Hand Strap can offer an extra level of security, designed for professional camera bodies and shooting environments with an ergonomic design for maximum comfort and support. Unlike regular hand straps that can be made from non-sturdy construction, making it more awkward to insert your hand quickly and offering poor support during use, the SpiderPro Hand Strap has a more thoughtful design. With universal compatibility this Hand Strap’s thin but durable material slides in between the camera body and any tripod plate, no need to buy a new one. With a sturdier design you have a strong connection to the camera and can quickly insert your hand in and out but there is still enough flexibility to be able to reach the controls at the back of the camera. The ergonomic curved shape provides access to the battery and memory card compartments, the shape and materials provide a good support for the weight of the camera by sitting above your knuckles up near your wrist. AnySharp Classic Pro I recently had dinner at a friends and he asked me to cut some veg (I can’t remember signing up to be sous-chef) but as I am such a great friend I said yes, after a few attempts with his blunt knife I asked where his knife sharpener was and to my horror he said he didn’t have one?! It would have been easier to karate chop these vegetables with my hands rather than use his dull little knife. I have had a Classic AnySharp Pro in my draw for years now and it’s something I use on a near daily basis, with its low cost and high performance I decided to treat him to one, it comes in a wide range of colours and for a little extra you can upgrade to the Pro Edition. The Classic Pro has been designed to work with all your knives, this includes serrated blades, bread knives for example. Constructed with tungsten carbide technology it will dramatically improve the lifespan of any steel knife and can restore a sharp edge to even the most ancient blade, the great thing about the classic is the hands-free design.

PowerGrip suction cup base, the Pro attaches securely to any smooth surface or worktop, once it’s attached the knife can be sharpened with your hands safely out of the way. To use the blade it is placed into the sharpening grove and simply glided all the way through, the long-lasting polymer guiding top is softer than metal, and won’t damage the metal edge. With a blunt knife, the Classic Pro will naturally create the perfect angle and remove excess metal rapidly, once it is sharp only light pressure is needed, 3 or 4 draws and microscopic amounts of metal are shed to keep the blade in tip top condition. This sharpener is pre-set to 20 degrees, the optimum angle to sharpen a good quality steel knife at, this means zero skill is required to get this accurate edge. The AnySharp Classic Pro effortlessly sharpens your knives, it’s safe and compact design along with that wonderful low-price tag makes it a is a must have for any kitchen.
