The season of festivities is upon us, and we look forward to welcoming you to our iconic villas designed to make you feel at home, complemented by inspiring itineraries crafted for different generations. Children can immerse in destination-inspired activities at the storybook-like Ritz Kids or taste the waters with Dive Butler International. Whilst, adults and children alike can discover the sea, sky, and in between with Jean-Michel Cousteau’s Ambassadors of the Environment programme
or embark on a culinary tour around the world at the resort’s seven restaurants and bars. Take a scenic eight-minute Dhoni ride away to the vibrant Fari Marina Village with even more dining venues, art studios, fashion boutiques and activities. CULINARY LANDSCAPE
Embark on an exquisite culinary journey around the world. The Ritz-Carlton Maldives, Fari Islands features seven restaurants and bars with curated ambiences and gourmet creations. LA LOCANDA La Locanda showcases Southern Italian flavours, an Espresso Bar, curated library and private dining room. Follow the aroma of rich espresso in the morning, toast to the setting sun at Aperitivo hour and savour on homemade pasta accompanied by rare Proseccos and Italian wines for dinner. Graze around for long at the island’s ‘living room’ - indoor and outdoor spaces extended to the sparkling lagoon of the resort in a laid-back atmosphere. Guests can settle in the library with a book on Italian fashion, embark on a culinary journey at the Chef’s Table or celebrate in the private dining room.
SUMMER PAVILION Nestled over the velvety lagoon, Summer Pavilion showcases modern Chinese tapas-style cuisine, a wine cellar and Afternoon Tea in a lantern-inspired space. Signature dishes, including roasted duck, lobster and fish noodle soup, live lobster and crab glaze, are designed to be shared and paired with fine Chinese teas and selections from its extensive wine cellar.

IWAU Dine under the star-filled Maldivian sky at IWAU, translated as ‘to celebrate’ in Japanese. This restaurant presents Japanese Chef’s Table with teppanyaki, sushi and a curated selection of Japanese sakes, whiskies and teas. Entrust your dinner experience to the Chef in an artistic Omakase experience or savour freshly prepared sushi and sashimi at romantic tables set within the iconic round-shaped pool. EAU BAR Overlooking the Indian Ocean, Eau Bar invites you to a laid-back glamorous setting. The perfect place to read and indulge in fresh oysters, caviar or creative dishes with Japanese influences. Cocktails are handcrafted table-side, staying true the restaurant’s concept of sustainable gastronomy. Afternoon tea gets a Maldivian twist and sunset is celebrated each evening with a captivating ritual.
BEACH SHACK Live the Joie de Vivre lifestyle at the Beach Shack, where the Mediterranean meets the Maldives, with sand underfoot and the sea just steps away. Enjoy long lunches over laughter-filled tables with sharing plates of grilled seafood alongside fruit- and herb-driven cocktails and an impressive selection of French rosés. Resident and visiting DJs spin throughout the day, fireside stories over s’mores, Cinema on the beach and Lobster and Champagne nights, and a host of weekly themed events highlight art, fashion and food curated for all generations. ARABESQUE An eye-catching tribute to a traditional Bedouin tent, Arabesque takes diners on a journey from Lebanon to north India. Located at Fari Marina Village, the sunken dining room with hanging lanterns and colourful fabrics sets the scene for shareable mezze platters, tandoor-grilled meats and iconic street fare. Dishes are offered alongside flavourful hookahs, Turkish coffee, Moroccan tea and creative cocktails.
TUM TUM Tum Tum, a festive food trailer located at Fari Marina Village, offers the perfect stop amid a day of shopping, arts and culture. Its menu takes you across the Asian continent; each country presenting its own version of street-friendly fare from meat- and vegetable-filled bao buns, steamed dumplings, aromatic soups, and flavourful noodle dishes.

DINING AT FARI MARINA VILLAGE Discover a world of flavours in a refreshing social scene at Fari Marina Village, located only an eight-minute Dhoni ride. Guests can discover a total of 23 restaurants in the Fari Islands archipelago once complete. FARINE – An island patisserie, with traditional homemade butter croissants, signature bread, pastries and sandwiches. KŌEN – Teppanyaki, specialising in Japanese premium Wagyu beef from Akita prefecture. BRASA – Premium meats and South American marinades served on a countertop - a sharing-table dining setting. GO GO BURGER – Homemade gourmet burgers served from a truck. TUK TUK GELATO – An ice cream truck offering homemade cold treats. ARABESQUE – Flavours from Lebanon to north India come alive in this Bedouin tent-style restaurant. TUM TUM – A festive food trailer presenting Asian street food.

Exotic Dim Sum brunches, traditional Sunday brunches to evenings dining under the celestial sky or discovering secret recipes from our passionate chefs, we present an array of dining experiences. DIM SUM BRUNCH Savour an array of delicious Dim Sum filled with exquisite ingredients from seafood to truffle and Wagyu beef paired with beautiful tea-based cocktails, rosé and champagne at Summer Pavilion. SUNDAY BRUNCH Sunday tradition continues even during holidays; Sleep a little longer as we have an indulgent brunch served on the sun-soaked beach at Beach Shack with a live DJ. LOBSTER DINNER UNDER THE STARS Taste delicious local lobsters on the beach with live music as the night sky sets the scene for a memorable Maldivian evening. DIVING AND WATERSPORTS Surrounded by a vibrant coral reef and deep channel, with a multitude of dive sites and sandbanks at vicinity presents guests the perfect Maldivian experience. JEAN-MICHEL COUSTEAU’S AMBASSADORS OF THE ENVIRONMENT PROGRAM Immerse in nature with Jean-Michel Cousteau’s Ambassadors of the Environment program - an exclusive to the destination. Diving to explore the exotic marine life, nature walks to discover the fascinating flora and fauna of the island or learn about the wonders of the galaxies under the clear skies of the Maldives, guests of all ages can join in a selection of educational and engaging activities around the programme’s 4 pillars: land, water, environmental responsibility and culture that focus on preserving the planet for future generations. MARINE CONSERVATION USING DRONES Taking inspiration from the Cousteau family’s legacy in marine technology, after all, the world’s first scuba gear to the underwater camera was invented by Jacques-Yves Cousteau, we have brought an interesting element to marine conservation to The Ritz-Carlton Maldives, Fari Islands. We have taken inspiration and brought technology into marine conservation to the Maldives. Drone technology has introduced a unique perspective into our ecosystem, allowing us to cover vast areas and conquer new depths with low disturbance and impact on wildlife for our research programme.
Join our Naturalists, for a hover or dive into the ocean for an enriching experience. OCEAN DRONE X Explore the outer reef of the atoll using a flying drone. This engaging and enriching activity presents boundless opportunities to observe real-time footage of marine life harmoniously in their natural habitat and help us to find ghost nets and marine debris for a cleaner ocean. SUB AQUA X As part of our research using marine conservation technology, Sub Aqua X is an engaging and educational activity allowing guests to monitor the surrounding reefs and even spot marine debris to help us on our mission for a cleaner ocean.
