IN-CONTRACT PROPERTIES This week 14 properties entered into contract. There were 10 condos, 0 co-ops, and 4 townhouses, which totaled $116,305,000 in sales volume. The contract amount nearly doubled from last weeks total of 8. Two weeks ago there were 6 contracts signed. The average price per foot rose 5.9% from the last week average of $2,231 per foot. The most expensive contract of the week was 54 East 81st Street for $20,000,000. This 8,400 s/f townhouse was originally listed n 2015 for $36,000,000. After many price reductions, the house was finally reduced to $20MM on 4/27/2020 and entered contract 115 days later.
