Wright will not seek another term as hospital CEO

CROSS COUNTRY MEET: Birch Cliff Public School’s Lucas Chapman, left, leads Grade 1 competitors out on the course during the Toronto District School Board’s East region cross country meet Wednesday morning in Thomson Park. Not all elementary schools competed in the meet due to the “pause” being taken on extra-curricular activites by teachers to show their oposition to the provincial government’s Bill 115.

Rather than “stay too long,” as he says senior executives sometimes do, Dr. John Wright is stepping down as CEO of The Scarborough Hospital. Wright, whose second two-year term ends next September, has told the hospital’s board he won’t seek another. A committee was struck last month and a firm hired to find a replacement, who Wright this week said should be in place by early spring. “As soon as this candidate is ready I will welcome him or her and step out.” Wright had already been interim president of TSH for a year when he was hired for the job in 2008. He arrived during a crisis, he said, with the hospital temporarily managed by a provincially-appointed supervisor installed to resolve financial and governance problems. As he assumed the CEO post, Scarborough’s Hospital Standardized Mortality Ratio (HSMR), a Canadawide measure of preventable deaths, was worst in Toronto. “I needed to turn the quality around,” said Wright, who also had to raise staff morale, balance >>>WRIGHT, page 3

Meeting on Highland Creek Village development plans slated A meeting on development plans for the Highland Creek area is set for Tuesday. The Follow-up Community Forum on the Highland Creek Village Area Study will take place at Cardinal Leger Catholic School, 600 Morrish

Rd., from 7 to 9 p.m. An earlier meeting on development plans for the area was held in April of this year, and Tuesday’s meeting should reflect some of the comments residents had expressed about the proposals.

The vision of the plan is to make Highland Creek Village “a vibrant, mixed-use, community-focused, pedestrian-friendly destination, where attractive building design references the area’s heritage, and attracts new businesses and resi-

dents to live and work in the community.” Part of the plan calls for Old Kingston Road, through the exiting shops of Highland Creek Village, to become a pedestrian-focused area with three and four-storey buildings.

The proposed South Village will feature new housing ranging in height from six to eight storeys. For more information on the meeting, please contact Scarborough East Councillor Ron Moeser at 416392-1373.

Councillor hears concerns over centre’s expansion plan MIKE ADLER madler@insidetoronto.com Scarborough-Rouge River Councillor Raymond Cho says he faces a tough choice this fall over the proposed future home of the Malvern Family Resource Centre. Over 26 years, the non-profit agency has served local youth, seniors and families from leased locations. MFRC is proposing a permanent home for its services on a piece of vacant provincial land at the southwest corner of Sewells and Littles roads, and the group has secured a one-time provincial grant for the construction. Residents oppose facility At a meeting last month, however, more than 50 residents attended a community meeting in the Malvern Methodist Church and most said they opposed a MFRC facility on the land due to their fears of increased noise, parking and traffic in the neighbourhood. “I have never seen such a strong opposition” at a community meeting, Cho said this week, “and that creates a concern in me.” The proposal calls for a two-storey, 1,848-metre-square building with an “outdoor amenity area” accessible to the community, and including a gym, a computer lab, and multi-purpose rooms.

It has St. Bede Catholic School immediately to its west and faces streets of single family houses on other sides. The proposal includes a “potential pedestrian link to Littles Park (south and west of the property) through a connection to an existing path on the school property. The property’s proposed use is permitted in Toronto’s Official Plan, but not in the zoning bylaw, which city councillors must agree to amend. Excellent work in community Cho said at the meeting he strongly emphasized his opinion MFRC is doing excellent work in the community, something he added none of the residents there denied. Cho remains undecided on MFRC’s zoning bylaw application, saying he continues to receive emails and calls on the matter and knows both sides are gathering signatures for petitions. “I still think it’s a good idea but the location is a concern,” said Cho, adding if the neighbourhood was receptive to the building plan, “I’ve no problem.” Cho said a decision is scheduled for the Nov. 6 meeting of Scarborough Community Council, where MFRC representatives and residents can speak. MFRC officials could not be reached for comment.

ANGELINE MAIR amair@insidetoronto.com Four-and-a-half-year-old Savannah Morrison is left behind in her Scarborough YMCA childcare class each day when her fellow classmates are bused to a nearby Catholic school for kindergarten. Hayton Morrison and his wife Jennifer Brown-Morrison are working parents who simply can’t change their work schedule to revolve around their daughter’s half-day kindergarten program at their home school William Tredway Junior Public School, which does not offer a bus. “She’s the only one who is not going to school,” said Morrison of his daughter’s day care situation, Instead she remains at the childcare centre, where she’s been enrolled since she was a year old. The Toronto District School Board does not provide a bus from the YMCA to William Tredway school due to zoning rules. Morrison is confused and frustrated by the situation, and the apparent inequity between students in the public system and students in the separate system. “We are all paying taxes for the board of education. At the end of the day, it just isn’t right that two kids, who started out at the same position, one goes to school and one doesn’t — just because one is Catholic.” The Morrisons have been jumping through hoops to make sure Savannah gets to kindergarten at Tredway, which is a popular school because it offers French immersion from senior kindergarten to Grade 6. They even arranged for a private busing company to shuttle their daughter to kindergarten. However, after a misunderstanding of when and where Savannah was supposed to be dropped off and picked up — her parents lost faith in this option. The Morrisons have even had to do some soul searching. “We considered changing our religion. But we weren’t accepted,” he said. “We can’t become Catholic because the course starts in October. My wife is still waiting from a call back from him (the priest).” This is not the first family who attended the same childcare who has faced a similar dilemma. Morrison said one parent he spoke to enrolled her child in private

school, because when she tried to address the issue and it was causing her “headaches and stress” and it was not worth it. Other parents “have produced papers saying they are Catholic,” so their children can attend the nearby school, he said. Another alternative Morrison considered is an in-home daycare, which he said, “is far less stimulating” for his daughter. “I spoke with David Smith who was trying to arrange busing.” Morrison said of the Scarborough TDSB trustee he was in contact with. “We’ve been looking at it for quite some time and unfortunately even though it sounds great. It’s not something that can be done,” Smith said. “If your child has special care because you want to have the best kind of education — then you have to pay for it.” Smith said the school board is being asked “to do more with less at every corner” and not all things are doable. Students who live in an area of their home school, like Savannah, and then go out of the area for a special program cannot expect a bus to take them back and forth. “I wish I could do more for him; but I can’t break the rules,” said Smith. Nancy Crawford, Toronto Catholic District School Board Trustee for Scarborough’s Ward 12, said the situation is uncommon. “That’s an unusual situation because usually there is quite a bit of equity” when it comes to busing children to school. However, she said, the transportation criteria are “extremely challenging” when it comes to who can get a bus and “it’s very often not a black and white issue.” Crawford said she sympathized with families in similar situations. “It shows the depth of the need to have the children taken care of safely and the parents struggling with the responsibilities of home and work.” For the Catholic board, the option of having a child bused to school is not always readily accessible, “We spend a lot on busing because we don’t have as many school buildings. We just don’t have as many schools as the public board. Children live further from Catholic schools on average than the children attending public schools.”

Health forums set for Scarborough Forums on the “challenges of health system transformation” - meaning budget cuts and a reorganization of services - will be held at both campuses of The Scarborough Hospital next week. While particular changes and how they will affect the hospital aren’t being discussed now, administrators warn they will be significant and are urging staff and the public to start grappling with the possibilities. The evening meetings next week – from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday at the General campus and Thursday at the Birchmount – are part of a

“refresh” of the hospital’s strategic plan. They are also said to be the first step in a process all Ontario hospitals will go through in the next few years that could lead to some services being merged or moved out of hospital campuses and into the community. As costs rise and provincial resources shrink, “we have to make the accommodations and those accommodations will be significant,” CEO Dr. John Wright said in an interview this week. Wright said $50-60 million could be cut eventually from the TSH budget, numbers he said are hard

for many residents to grasp. Next week’s meetings ask people to look at “draft decision-making criteria” which a consultant, the Hay Group, will use to evaluate “potential solutions” for the hospital. Wright said the consultant’s recommended alternatives should be ready in December but the strategic plan won’t be updated until the new year. There is some anxiousness already about possible service consolidations, though Wright said the process should ensure TSH retains two acute-care hospital campuses with 24-hour emergency rooms.

Wright took over hospital in crisis situation >>>from page 1 the budget and improve hospital procedures to prevent the spread of disease. Looking back, he said he could check off all the changes on his initial list. The HSMR improved by last year to best in the city, as had compliance rates for hand-washing, critical to disease prevention, while physician morale and patient satisfaction, he said, have dramatically improved. But as difficult decisions loom for the hospital, Wright said TSH needs “someone with a different skill set” to handle them, and that he’s accomplished all he can as chief executive. Wright oversaw installation of the first magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) machine at the former Grace campus (renamed the Birchmount under his tenure), and set in motion

a plan to move hemodialysis and other services for chronic kidney patients to a new community hub on grounds of the former Timothy Eaton Business and Technical Institute. The hub could be completed by mid-2015, and a major new annual fundraiser, the Scarborough World Gala, will be launched Nov. 10 to help pay for it. Wright’s initiative to investigate a possible merger with Toronto East General Hospital, however, proved unpopular. Seeing Mississauga’s Trillium Health Centre merge with Credit Valley Hospital, forming a “huge, powerful” institution west of Toronto, Wright said at a meeting in February, he thought merging TSH with another hospital could get Scarborough a fairer share of provincial capital investment. Though abandoned after it was

rejected by boards of both hospitals, their medical staffs and the Central East Local Health Integration Network, the exercise left some community members questioning Wright’s leadership and what they saw as a “lack of transparency” at the hospital. Wright, though, said he’ll leave knowing the committee will have no problems finding a superb replacement. “I will be here for as long as they need me. When it is time for me to leave, I want to leave behind at least three, maybe four, senior staff who would be candidates for my job,” he told The Mirror in 2008 when his appointment was announced. This week, Wright said he’s confident the hospital’s senior team work well together and “the hospital will have all the talent it needs to make the decisions” for difficult years ahead.

Remember to share Thanksgiving with those less fortunate

A

s families gather together for turkey, stuffing and all the trimmings to celebrate Thanksgiving this weekend, it’s a good time again to extend that generosity to those less fortunate in our communities. The Salvation Army released a report this week that revealed more families are turning to its food programs and centres for assistance. One-third of Salvation Army food banks also reported seeing a decrease in donations at their centres within the last year. “As long as they require the services offered by The Salvation Army, we will be here to provide them, as we our view have for the last 130 years,” said Graham Moore, public Do what you can relations secretary for The until cycle of Salvation Army in Canada. It’s important to answer poverty is broken the call for assistance from local organizations that work year round to support the families struggling to live above the poverty line. At the same time, however, it’s also important to think of ways to work toward a more long-term sustainable solution for those same families where they become less dependent on local food banks. Rather than continuously providing a hand-down to address their short-term needs, let’s provide a hand-up to give the help they need to support themselves. Like the Habitat for Humanity projects. A recent survey showed that once families received initial assistance to own their homes, they felt empowered to break the cycle of poverty. Furthermore, no child who grew up in a Habitat home has ever needed one himself, said Neil Hetherington, CEO of Habitat for Humanity. We recognize the solution is not simple, but rather complex and that it involves a host of factors such as addressing employment needs, government policies and providing other social supports. But the solution will only come from the community putting our heads together and brainstorming ideas on how to start. We welcome your feedback and suggestions to get this dialogue going. In the meantime, we should do what we can for those in need now. There’s no shortage of food drives taking place during the long weekend. This includes the Daily Bread Food Bank’s annual Thanksgiving drive which benefits communities across all of Toronto. What’s open and closed Thanksgiving

W

hat’s open. Mouths, for starters. For those lucky enough to be invited to a big get-together featuring a traditional turkey dinner. Just make sure said mouths are not open as you walk in the door. Have the courtesy to wait until the trimmings and side dishes are placed around the dinner table. This is a hallowed occasion after all, not just some run-of-the-mill, all-you-caneat-faster-than-an-athleteafter-a-visit-to-Steroids ‘R’ Us buffet. What’s closed. Negotiations to do any nibbling before the turkey arrives. Sorry, pre-meal snacking is a Thanksgiving no-no. So don’t bother asking if it’s OK to have a little something. You’d just be wasting your time. You got that, Uncle Elmer? What’s open. Jaws. The moment the majestic bird is brought out and placed in the center of the table. For the record, accompanying ooh-ing and ah-ing is

also allowed at this time. But, lip-smacking and drooling is not acceptable. What’s closed. Any discussion about who gets the drumsticks. There’s no debate here. Grandpa always has first dibs. If gramps only takes one and an argument ensues over who deserves the other, no problem. Just stage a winner-take-all World Wrestling Entertainment-like Battle Royale. Not only does it work like a charm, but there is also the possibility of having it telecast on pay-per-view. What’s open. Who will be entrusted with carving the turkey. What’s closed. Nominations for the coveted role. It can’t be just anybody.

Carving is a work of art. It has to be done by a person who is confident, creative and doesn’t need direction. So that rules out anybody who has to look at the self-serve instructions on the pump every time he/ she fills up the gas tank. You got that, Uncle Elmer? ...And finally, at the conclusion of the seemingly endless feast... What’s open. More than a few belt buckles. And for those whose eyes were bigger than their stomachs and really overdid it, likely the top two buttons of some trousers. What’s closed. The kitchen: to the host(s), only. It’s off limits to them for the rest of the night. All table clearing and dish-washing is to be done by the guests. n Jamie Wayne is a lifelong columnist, who takes writing very seriously. To the editor: Re: ‘Housing report stands chance of success,’ The City, Sept. 20. I do agree with columnist David Nickle’s observations that the report titled “Putting People First” will in all likelihood be accepted by council. However, I do not agree with his quite obvious disdain for our mayor and his attempts to turn the tide in Toronto. Yes, Mayor Rob Ford continues to blunder along with a great number of either poor or misdirected attempts at controlling the middle and the left on city council. One of his largest blunders, after Karen Stintz of course, was to appoint Councillor Ana Bailao to head up the housing task force. It was incredibly obvious to even an inexperienced observer that the decision would come back to haunt him. I do not fault our mayor for this, simply his advisors and the leftists on council who are constantly pushing him to compromise and gain a consensus. Leaders do not gain a consensus, they lead. TTC should be privatized To the editor: Re: ‘TTC will operate LRT lines for Metrolinx after all.’ insidetoronto.com, Oct. 4. Time and again the taxpayers are not asked, but told who, what, when, why and where. I am sick and tired of it. Metrolinx was supposed to take charge of the TTC expansion, but now it is back in the hands of the TTC. The whole system needs a major shake-up, and privatization should be front and centre. W.D. Clarinet soloist Jonno Lightstone performs with The Encore Symphonic Concert Band yesterday at the Wilmar Heights Centre church. The band will be performing concerts on the first Thursday of every month at the Scarborough church.

The Encore Symphonic Concert Band has found a new home in Scarborough. The band kicked off its season yesterday, with a lunch hour concert at Wilmar Heights Centre at noon. “It’s a miracle” the band is able to share its music with the community, said John Liddle, artistic director of the band. “It’s special. I’m blown away by the whole thing. The space itself is beautiful. For a band the acoustics are just awesome,” Only a few months ago the band may have not been able to share its music. This past summer, after not being able to use the York Region school at which it had been for 12 years, the band was given three weeks to pack up. “It’s like moving the Toronto Symphony Orchestra,” Liddle said of the 60-piece band. The band sat homeless for weeks and were starting to worry that their days of playing together again were numbered. Fortunately, it wasn’t long before the band was calling Wilmar Heights Centre on Pharmacy Avenue home. Liddle gives all the credit to James Ramesbottom, Wilmar Heights Centre manager. “They were very upset about (leaving

the school) and I said: Maybe we can rescue you! And we did,” Ramesbottom said. The deal is, he said, the band provide the centre with a concert. And it will. The Encore Symphonic Concert Band plans to play a lunch hour concert on the first Thursday of each month. Ramesbottom is also the executive director of the seniors home, “we are trying to develop a program so that the seniors can go next door - they don’t have to get wet,” he said. “What’s really neat is, they (the band) don’t mind people just sitting there listening. And that is a big plus.” Liddle said his band and the space is a “safe haven” for senior retired musicians, who unfortunately, “once they get a little snow on the roof bands - from community to military - say: we don’t need you anymore.” When you are a musician, you want to share your music, Liddle said. He added that the band helps keep its members young and vital. That’s what is special about the band, he said. “They bring their musical talent. And we take what they got and we turn out quite a broad range of music.” For example, says Liddle, Ed Graf, who is 91-years old arranged three klezmer tunes, called the Klezmer Suite featuring clarinet player Jonno Lightstone. Ramesbottom also introduced his

neighbour to the band — a classically trained opera singer. “It’s like the band leader’s daughter saying she wants to sing with them. And everyone runs for cover. But man can she ever sing,” Liddle said. Scarborough resident Sophia Kanavas, 24, is excited to be performing with the band. “I’ve never sang with a band behind me.” She said working with all the talent in the band, “is a great and positive environment. They’ve been welcoming from the start.” She graduated this summer from the University of Toronto Scarborough Campus from a non-music related field, however, she has been singing since she was 11. Naturally, she was a little nervous being the voice of the band. “It’s intimidating because you go in there - as a singer - and you are kind of rusty because you haven’t kept up with it for the last few years.” The group of seasoned professionals made Wexford Collegiate Institute grad, feel right at home from the start. With the money from the tickets, Liddle foresees fixing the pianos and organ. And really creating a true musical space. The band will perform the first Thursday of each month at the Wilmar Heights Centre, 973 Pharmacy Ave. Visit www.wilmarcourt.com. or call 416-7597269 for more info.

Four panelists will share their experiences this Sunday at a discussion on sexuality and “being queer” in the Tamil communities of Tamil Nadu and Toronto. The free talk, titled Sexuality and the Tamil World: Histories and Realities, is part of a conference organized by the Tamil Resource Centre to hear the views of people that the group says are “traditionally alienated” in Tamil society.

The conference starts at 2 p.m. and takes place in St. Columba and All Hallows Church which is located at 2723 St. Clair Ave. E., east of O’Connor Drive. The panel will address topics such as the lack of community “space” for gay Tamil men.

Thunder host football day at Birchmount Stadium NORM NELSON nnelson@insidetoronto.com

COMING SOON Scarborough Select Co-Ed Club

The Scarborough Thunder football club will host a Thanksgiving Monday full of football at Birchmount Stadium, with all three of its minor football teams in action. The three teams – the U11 atom , U13 peewee and U15 bantam – all compete in a 12-team fall loop run by the Central Ontario Minor Football League. Their records heading into their final homestand of the regular season are as follows: atoms (2-5), peewees (3-4) and bantams (3-4). The three Thunder teams will be hosting their counterparts from Oshawa. The Scarborough teams then close out the schedule on Sunday, Oct. 14 on the road in Georgetown against host Halton Hills.

Toronto also boasts one other club in the COMFL – North York which fields teams at all three levels. North York squads are on the road this Thanksgiving Monday against Ajax-Pickering at Kinsmen Field in Pickering. They then close out the regular season on Sunday, Oct. 14 hosting York-Simcoe at North York’s Esther Shiner Stadium. Both Toronto-based clubs also compete in the spring-summer Ontario Varsity Football league (OVFL) as well as running house league programs. Game times for the league are all standard with atoms starting at 9:30 a.m., followed by the peewees at 11:30 a.m. and wrapping up with the bantams at 1:30 p.m. For more information on the league and its teams please visit http://comfl.com

The average selling price for these transactions was $503,662, representing an increase of more than 8.5 per cent compared to last year. The number of transactions was down by 21 per cent in comparison to September 2011. However, it is important to note that there were two fewer working days in September 2012 compared to September 2011. The majority of transactions are entered on working days. On a per working day basis, sales were down by 12.5 per cent year-over-year. “While sales have been lower due to stricter mortgage lending guidelines, we continue to see substantial competition between buyers. The months of inventory trend remains low from a historic perspective, which explains the strong price increases

Cummings making an impact on football field, basketball court DAVID GROSSMAN active@insidetoronto.com Only 15 years old, Daniel Cummings is finding a way to cope with an issue. Athletically gifted, the Scarborough-born youngster is quite talented at basketball and football. He’s also adjusting to something new – residence life at St. Andrew’s College, an all-boys’ school and one of the top private educational institutions in Canada. But Cummings, at six feet, five inches and about 200 pounds, has a problem: he’s missing his grandmother Enid’s home cooking. “Her food is great, I miss it – and especially the lasagna which is the best in the

DANIEL CUMMINGS

world,” said Cummings, now settled in to the prestigious Aurora-based school and sharing a dorm with football star Jonathan Femi-Cole.

Not that Cummings is knocking the school food, after benefitting from a lucrative academic scholarship that has him focussing on academics as well as sport, but he would be thrilled if a courier showed up with a box of edibles from home. “Moving away from home, it happens, but there are things you miss and her food – it’s great,” said Cummings, calm and laid back in a conversation, but the exact opposite in athletic competition. Cummings is what head football coach Len Gurr calls “a project with a bright future”. Gurr is not just referring to Cummings academic grades, good enough to get admitted to St. Andrew’s, but his

athletic skills – speed, agility and knowledge – are the ingredients of a star in the making. “He’s going to be a great football player,” said Gurr. “We already know what he can do in other sports.” A graduate of Macklin Public School, located in the McCowan Road and McNicoll Avenue area, Cummings started early in wanting the best of academics and athletics. He said he was not sure if he picked St. Andrew’s first or if they went looking for him. “This is a great place for me – a chance to build on what I have and continue working hard so I can open my own business one day,” said Cummings who, along with his family, checked out a St. Andrew’s event and knew it was the place for him. Cummings seems to prefer basketball, a sport that had him playing for Team Ontario when it won the Canadian championship over Quebec in Sherbrooke last summer, but he’s getting hooked on football. defending Conference of Independent Schools Athletic Association senior gridiron champs and started the league season off with a 45-12 pasting of Ashbury College of Ottawa before beating arch rival Upper Canada College of Toronto, 42-28. Cummings hasn’t been relegated to bench duty. quite the opposite as the St. Andrew’s coaching staff like his aggressiveness and ability to learn quickly. Looking for his first touchdown, Cummings has caught passes and been solid blocking opponents as he learns from veteran receivers Malcolm Carter and Zach Marcus. When it’s a break from academics, football, even toying with NBA video games or learning to play the flute like his two older sisters, Cummings is playing hoops – something he learned in Grade 4 and his highlight is dunking a ball while in Grade 7. “Basketball is probably No. 1 with me and if things work out, I’d like to study and play in the NCAA,” he said. “When you want to be the best, you find the best place. If I am fortunate, it would be nice to

play in Europe or the NBA.” Cummings made the Basketball Ontario provincial playoffs for players 14 and 15 and while his teams lost in the championship games, he has two shiny silver medals. TEAM ONTARIO He was also a member of Team Ontario’s squad that competed in the AAU National tournament in Orlando this past summer and losing in the semifinal round of a bronze division playoff. Provincial coach Jeff Giovanatti, referring to Cummings, was quoted this past summer as giving Cummings huge praise for his ability to play basketball. “He’s the epitome of a team player,” said Giovanatti. “He’s so unselfish out there, he does the measurable stats and immeasurable things on the floor. We have him playing the 2, 3 and 4 (positions) because of his versatility... and he can defend”. Now, if Cummings can only figure out a way to get grandma’s cooking through a side door at St. Andrew’s, he’d have the best of everything.

Area residents opposed to ‘fishbowl’ development Residents at a recent community meeting said they don’t want to see a city-owned green space across from Variety Village handed over for development. Toronto Council last year declared the 4.2-acre site, between Highview and Pinegrove avenues and known locally as “the fishbowl,” as surplus land.

Scarborough Southwest Councillor Gary Crawford held the meeting to receive comments on possible development before the parcel, 3900 Danforth Ave., is transferred to the city’s arms-length real estate agency, Build Toronto, for sale. Such a transfer could be discussed at council’s Government

Management Committee this November.

n Argos serve dinner

While they are most celebrated for their accomplishments on the gridiron, the Toronto Argonauts Football Club will bring some excitement to hundreds of at-risk individuals and families this afternoon.

Several Argos players will drop by the Salvation Army Toronto Harbour Light Ministries to serve a community Thanksgiving dinner to more than 600 people. The event marks the 15th such dinner with the Argos teaming up with the Salvation Army. Argos executive chair and CEO Chris Rudge noted the organization

has long been devoted to helping those in need and said the players are “eager to help feed those who are marginalized and may not otherwise be able to have a Thanksgiving meal.” The dinner will take place from 3 to 6 p.m. today at the Salvation Army Toronto Harbour Light Ministries at 160 Jarvis St.

Cards of Thanks HOLY SPIRIT, Thou make me see everything and show me the way to reach my ideal. You who will give the divine gift to forgive and forget the wrong that is done to me and who are in all instances of my life with me. I, in this short dialogue, want to thank You for everything and confirm once more that I never want to be separated from You no matter how great the material desire may be. I want to be with You and my loved ones in Your perpetual glory, Amen. Person must pray this 3 consecutive days without stating one’s wish. After the 3rd day your wish will be granted no matter how difficult it may be. Promise to publish this as soon as your favour has been granted. M.L.
