Diversity Indicators We understand that diversity builds economic vitality, uplifts communities and promotes productivity and resiliency. HDFFA Partners self-selected from the following indicators. The following indicators are used throughout this directory. Minority-owned: Racial and/or ethnic groups other than white, which are the global demographic majority.
Veteran-owned: Active service completed in any branch of the United States Armed Forces.
LGBTQ-owned: Sexual orientations, gender expressions, & gender identities of the LGBTQ community.
Women-owned: Owned and operated by a woman.
These indicators are included in our work but no Partners chose to use them this year. Disability-owned Physical and / or mental impairment that substantially limits one or more major life activities.
Indigenous-owned: Indigenous peoples of the continental United States, Alaska, and Hawaii.

Purchasing Indicators
This indicator lets you know you can use one or more of the following payment methods. Ask the vendor before you purchase which payment method they accept.
• SNAP - Federal Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (aka Oregon Trail or Food Stamps)
• WIC - Nutrition program for Women, Infants & Children • FDNP - Farm Direct Nutrition Program is a state-administered, federal nutrition program serving families enrolled in the WIC and income-eligible seniors. FDNP participants receive $4.00 checks to spend on fresh, locally-grown fruits, vegetables, and cut edible herbs directly with authorized farmers from June 1 through November 30.
• SFDNP - The Senior Farm Direct Nutrition Program provides income-eligible seniors with checks to purchase fresh, locally grown fruit, vegetables and cut, edible herbs directly from participating farmers at farmers markets and farm stands from June through November. SFDNP is a state-administered, federal nutrition program. Participation does not affect medical assistance or SNAP benefits. Contact the SFDNP at 1-866-299-3562.
