pupils win International Kids Literary Quiz Many of our readers who return to SA tell us it's because the education is still first class. This story bears witness to this theory. In July last year, Manor Gardens Primary School from Durban sent a team 2011 to International Kids Literary Quiz in New Zealand and won! The team aged between 10 and 13 took on teams from UK, US, Canada and New Zealand and triumphed. Well done. SA economic growth positive Merril Lynch reported in September that over the next 10 years SA looks set to lead the economic growth in EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa). "Based on an analysis of growth determinants from demographics to leverage, we conclude that this decade Turkey, South Africa and Saudi Arabia will improve their growth performance," the bank says.
