the artist Sladjana Adzic Born in Novi Sad, Serbia 1969. Sladjana Adzic currently is living and working in Sydney. In 1992, Sladjana graduated with a Diploma Of Fashion, where she subsequently was employed as a Fashion Designer for 6 years. In 2000, Sladjana started her successful reputation as a Retail Stylist. Sladjana has loved drawing and painting for as long as she can remember and showed great creativity with the use of her art in her working career. Sladjana’s work, although abstract by nature, starts from an emotion or an idea, and as she works, an underlying visual order gradually emerges. Tumultuous brushwork, marks and gestures representing form and space, often recall lucid and ambiguous moments of life. Sladjana’s impulsive use of colour calls upon the viewer’s imagination- by retaining, hiding and allowing subtle parts to emerge; she creates depth- the more we look the more we see !

the artist Denise Campbell Denise Campbell’s love of the land comes from her early rural life in country NSW; the land, and the elements that shape it, are a constant influence on her artwork. It is not surprising then that she has become known for her aerial landscape paintings, infused with an earthy, spiritual quality that is vibrantly and uniquely Australian and which demonstrate a true emotional authenticity. Denise Campbell has been living in Spain for over 2 years now and is feeling like local. Huesca in Aragon in northern Spain has become her new surroundings.

the artist Helen Dubrovich Helen Dubrovich, born in Germany of Russian parents, migrated to Australia when she was three. When quite young Helen started to travel overseas and this influenced her work which is quite eclectic. Helen has chosen to work in a variety of mediums with various subject matter, rather than sticking to one genre as she felt staying with one type of subject and one medium would lead to boredom not only to herself but to her viewers. Helen studied art at East Sydney Technical College and photography, then started a career in this medium after completing the Photography Certificate at Ultimo T.A.F.E. She pursued her career in photography but found little time to paint during this period.

the artist Kirana Haag Kirana Haag’s dream and work on earth is to bring love and nurturing and beauty through art into the world. Art is one of many possible tools, to make visible what is often invisible, the fine web of divine love. Kirana describes her artworks as the diaries of her inner eyes and ears; of the energies above and beyond this one reality we call the “real world”. All her life she has seen and felt angels, guides, colours, pictures and energies around people and things, animate and inanimate. Kirana is clairvoyant and clairsentient, a channel, a feeling, hearing, seeing “phone line” with a paintbrush on the end of it to make the invisible, visible. It is the freedom to express very big and to be “loud”, to touch and to be real, she enjoys most in her art. Painting is for Kirana a physical and ethereal process, a fast and strong dance with light. Each of her artworks holds a specific energy. She has been referred to as a midwife of dreams; a light dancer.

Kirana Haag sydney, australia

Kirana Haag uses more than just paint to fill her specifically energised artwork. Her compositions are a matter of light and truth, strength and vulnerability, and often take the form of improvisation, using the energy of the moment to reveal truths about the artist, the artwork, and eventually the viewer. Review by Agora Gallery, Chelsea, New York.

the artist Pascale Rajek Pascale Rajek, is originally from Noumea, New Caledonia and is now based in Sydney. After spending several years running a graphic design business, she decided to enroll in a Surface Design Diploma at ISCD, Pascale was awarded the Mokum Design Award in 2010. This was the stepping-stone for a new venture in her creative life.

Pascale Rajek, sydney, australia

Pascale Rajek’s abstract paintings have a deep connection with the outside world referenced in her mark making through the filter of her emotions. Her works are an attempt to express a new language without a word and in choosing colours and textures to write the essence of the message. She uses the world and especially the Northern Lights as her motivation to paint and create. “I am fascinated by the little things in life when we stop… I aim to reproduce the beauty of it as much as my feelings when looking or thinking about those moments. My paintings are personal and a journey from within. The painting can start from a word, a song, a symbol… the surface becomes the page of a story to share with the viewer, a discovery beyond the visible, a rendez-vous in another time, an escape in a world of total inspiration.”
