1. Put Your Major Focus On Happiness & Peace
Positive mental health is a way of life and it can be achieved irrespective of what you do and have. All you need is to focus on and believe in your happiness and peace.

2. No One Comes To Make You Happy Stop expecting that other people - your mom, husband, children, friends, etc. - should know how to make you happy. Or they should be always available to give you happiness. Rather, ask yourself, ‘What am I doing for my own happiness?’ Cause, no one else can make you happy better than your own self. So, take the responsibility of your own happiness and start making efforts to achieve it.

3. Don’t put the responsibility of your happiness on others Stop projecting your needs, desires, wants, insecurities and confusions on others, and blaming them for your unhappiness. Don’t expect, control, try to change others, or pill your wishes on them; and then blame them for not making you happy by not listening to you.

4. Learn To Be Happy With The Way Things/ People Are It’s easy to just complain and point out fingers. But it can’t make you happy. So, accepting and respecting the things & people the way they are and staying happy with it is the golden rule to gain positive mental health.

5. Take Action If you have a problem, get up and take steps to solve it. Usually the presence of stress is an indicator of inaction. So if you are worrying a lot, think once if you have taken the necessary actions that you could take for the matter in concern.Â

6. Add a Thing of Your Interest to Your Day Remember the sketches or paintings you used to make as a child? The guitar lessons you so longed to take up? These insignificant activities can bring you the unadulterated joy, hence positive mental health. And most of them do not need time or money investment.
