Relay for Life is Here! By Chloe Hauxwell Staff Writer Relay for Life is quickly approaching. This Friday at 6pm the fun will begin with Opening Ceremonies. This year’s fundraising goal is $15,000, and we are well on our way, having already raised $9,362. realSERVICE would like to thank all who have joined teams or donated to this great cause so far. on the Relay fun. The entire event will be held behind the Recreation Center in the parking lot and the pavillion. Many teams will also have other fun things to do at their campsites. Donations are still welcome on http://www. relayforlife.org/ketteringumi, where donations can be credited to the preferred team or participant. Another donating option is by purchasing items at the event itself. Many teams will be selling drinks, baked goods, and other things. in the fun at Relay for Life. All of the events listed below are completely free. During the entire event, there will also be wkuf DJ’s a fire pit for s’mores, food from Grill Club, inflatables, and a dunk tank. Both the inflatables and the dunk tank will be by donation; if a team member goes in the dunk tank, that team is credited the donation money made during that time. There will also be representatives from Red Bull at the event, as well as free t-shirts for the first 150 attendees. 7:00 AM 8:00 AM
