BOARD OF DIRECTORS

PROJECT UPDATE When the 2022 budget was revealed it was apparent that there was a lot to do this year in regards to renovations, upgrades, and long overdue maintenance on our amenities. We would like provide an update on three of these initiatives. LAKE DREDGING As we mentioned in the last update we had awarded the project to Riversand and were working through the scope and contract. The contract has now been signed and they are scheduling work to begin. There will be several months of engineering work, permitting, etc. which will all be starting very soon. We are still very hopeful that our issue with the State of Georgia on the Treybyrne dam classification will be resolved well before dredging needs to begin. Now that the Treybyrne project is underway we will also begin working on putting together the plan for Lake Mulberry. We will be meeting with Riversand soon on the project and hope to have that project work in conjunction with the Treybyrne project. JIM MOORE ENTRANCE We have received the design options from Pollack and Associates for the entrance at the new roundabout at Jim Moore. Both the Grounds and Facilities Committee and Board of Director have reviewed these and two particular designs stand out. We are now in the process of getting quotes for both options and hope to have a final decision at the next Board meeting

CLUBHOUSE UPDATE/RENOVATIONS Another project on the schedule this year is exterior painting of all amenities at the Lakeview and Millview centers as well as the Millhouse entrance at the Braselton Entrance to the neighborhood. The Board has been working with two of our residents who specialize in interior/exterior design on color scheme options. We would like to thank Tara Jones and Tracey Hill for their help with this project and for providing some outstanding options. After reviewing two excellent options we have decided to move forward with the options from Tracey’s company Interior Designs and Finds and have awarded the project to Farina Paints who will be doing the work. They are already working on getting the project scheduled. LAKEVIEW INTERIOR RENOVATIONS While the exterior of the amenities is being painted, we are also starting a refresh on the Lakeview Clubhouse. We will be painting the fireplace and replacing all of the carpet and tile in the clubhouse area, property management offices, bathrooms and kitchen and replacing them with Luxury Vinyl Planks. These are extremely durable but also look very classic. This is phase 1 of a multi-phase initiative to refresh the look of the clubhouse. We look forward to getting these projects accomplished as there are several more that we want to complete this year. As always, we thank you for your support. Hamilton Mill Board of Directors

HAMILTON MILL PICKLEBALL Skills and Drills Mixture of drills to improve your level of play! Thursday: 10:00am – 11:00am Thursday: 7:00pm – 8:00pm Junior Pickleball This is a fun and successful way for students to learn to play pickleball. It is designed to bring kids to the game by developing important skills all tailored to the skill of the student. Students will learn basic technique, strategy, and tactics. It will prepare kids for match-play. Thursday: 5:30pm – 6:30pm Pre-registration is required for all Drop-in Clinics. All Drop-in Clinics are $15.00 per clinic.
