From the Board of Directors,
Planning on removing some trees or changing the color of your home? Or did you receive a Maintenance violation letter in the mail from Property Management? Unsure about what work needs prior approval and why you received a violation letter? The Modification Committee is here to help answer those questions.
Residents can now find a newly updated and formatted Modification and Maintenance Rules document on HMILL.com. For easy access from the HOME PAGE, click on HELPFUL INFO and select the document. The Modification Request Form is attached to the end of the document, or you may select it from the HELPFUL INFO pull down menu. The document may also be found on the public page in the Document Center.
The new Modification and Maintenance Rules document clearly outlines what exterior work requires a Modification Request Form for approval and what items result in a Maintenance Inspection violation letter. It also defines the role of the Modification Committee and details the Modification Request Process, Fines for Modifications before Approval, the Maintenance Inspection Process and Maintenance Rules and Regulations.
The Modification and Maintenance Rules have been established as a process for review of proposed work of properties to ensure that all sites within Hamilton Mill will be maintained with consistency and quality that continues to attract people to this community. Please be aware that property owners are legally bound by the Covenants and these Modification and Maintenance Rules.
The Modification Committee hopes this new document will help answer all your questions but if you need more assistance, please contact Property Management at 678-546-3737. Also, be sure you are receiving HOA correspondence and Newsletters via email by logging into HMILL.com and going to Resident Info to verify your contact information.
Thank you!
